J.Room was clean, had a strange smell to it. Room is very tired, no soundproofing between rooms but was OK. Didn't realise and it was not told to us but the hotel is also used for emergency housing so take this into consideration when booking.
S.A few good points were the bed was very comfortable and the TV was a great size especially for watching the All Blacks game. Plus a short walk into town. Has underground parking.
Arrived tired after a long drive, no towels etc to freshen up, soaking wet towel in the fridge. Later on filled the spa bath up and within a few minutes water kept disappearing plus the jets were not much chop. Plus no info folder as motels/hotels usually have. Doesn't have free wifi either.
For the price you pay not value for money so very disappointed 😔
Unfortunately we won't be staying again.
A.Friendly and helpful people on reception. They have most of the sky channels on the telly 👍👍Would stay here again. I travel for work and it was perfect for my 2 night stay. Car was safe in an underground locked car park.
N.David was lovely! The room was nice, warm and spacious. Easy walk to Tauranga CBD and just a quick drive into the mount.
Booked very last minute and everything worked out smoothly.

S.Stayed on the first Friday of level 1! The room had a faint smell of cleaning products which is amazing! Felt very safe, super clean, and friendly staff

R.Excellent central Tauranga position. Older motel and our room was over due for a refurbishment. However, the rooms were bigger that is the norm in more modern places. The bed was good and the bathroom more spacious than normal. The man at reception was exceptionally helpful.
S.The customer service is great. The young man at the desk is very personable. However the building itself interior wise is in desperate need of a total refurbishment and it is such a shame. The location is great but it truly needs an upgrade.
C.Couldn't have been happier with my stay. Check-in was a breeze, everyone was friendly. My room was clean and comfortable, kitchenette was very handy for easy meals and snacks. Good location, easy walking distance to the Strand and shops with a lovely park across the street. Nice and quiet at night.

E.Have stayed here a few times and have had nothing but awesome service, friendly staff and a great rooms. It is close to the city centre, bars, cafes and theatres. Just up the road from the waterfront. My pics dont really do it justice! A must stay!

S.Nice stay. Although I couldn't park in the underground car park, there is street parking right out front. Room clean, and with a decent bed. Considering rates with other motels locally, this is good value for money.
A.I arrived very late and check in was made easy. Room was quiet and comfortable for a quick over night stay. Room had all amenities you would expect at this level of hotel.
L.I just love staying here at City Suites in Tauranga. Such warm and friendly propieaters, who always make you feel so welcome and relaxed. The cheap rates are in no way reflected in the tastefully renovated modern rooms. Super quiet rooms, deliciously comfortable bed, amazing shower and quality fixtures and fittings alawys make City Suites the top of our list whenever we need accomadation in the Bay of Plenty.

m.This is that gem you have been waiting for. Really nice for family's and couples. Just a nice place all round. Great parking and no hassles. Will be staying there again.

p.It is well run, is relatively inexpensive, with all the amenities one could want: spa, pool, WiFi, Sky, and underground parking. If definitely stay there again.
V.Good motel. Decor is a bit 90s but it has good clean rooms, lots of amenities. Comfortable stay every time.

R.It is being used as emergency housing, I wouldn't have stayed if I had known this. Complelex could do with some tlc. Otherwise, bed was good with an over sized TV in room
O.(Translated) We were here at the beginning of April 2016. A small kitchen with the necessary dishes and cooking utensils was available. I thought the room was comfortable and the size for 2 people ideal. What we liked, that directly across the street a large sports field was available. In addition, this region was very quiet and a free underground parking space is available. We felt very comfortable here and would stay here again.

Wir waren anfangs April 2016 hier. Eine kleine Küche mit dem nötigen Geschirr und Kochutensilien war vorhanden. Ich empfand das Zimmer als gemütlich und von der Grösse her für 2 Personen ideal. Was uns gut gefallen hat, dass direkt gegenüber der Strasse ein grosser Sportplatz vorhanden war. Zudem war diese Region sehr ruhig und ein kostenloser Tiefgaragenplatz steht zur Verfügung. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und würden wieder hier übernachten.
