G.This newly refurbished 2 bedroom ground level unit was roomy and comfortable and excellent value for the money.
A.Had a great overnight stay here in a spacious 2 bedroom unit. Modern kitchen and bathroom facilities despite the motel exterior being of the older style motels. Beds comfortable and portacot which I requested at the time of booking was ready made up when we arrived. As it was winter, we could have done with an extra heater in the bedrooms but the lounge wall heater does adequately heat the entire unit provided you turn it on early enough in the evening. Just make sure the windows are completely closed as even leaving a small gap makes a big difference to the room temperature!
D.I always stay here when in Timaru. Lovely & Clean, well maintained fully equipped Kitchen only need to bring food. Day night store 5 min walk away and Handy to restaurants etc. Ideal for out of town people with Hospital appointments which is only a short walk away. Fully recomend

K.Great hotel for it's age, best part is the reception you will receive from Bill the owner. They also have another hotel if you like a bit of grangur. It's called the sea view, ore modern and a step up.
But the fitzgerald has been constantly busy since October 2020 . Full every night. Situated roughly 2minutes from town on your car or 10minutes if walking.

C.Awesome manager very lovely lady , apartments clean and serviced every day had no problems only thing was wifi wasn't too great but due to renovations that was expected will definitely reccomend to others
D.Owner decided at 5pm to do garden maintenance at our door leaving pick and shovel there while disappearing. Came back and spent another half our on phone leaving all equipment at our door. A health and safety issue.

M.The fridge was dirty neededto be cleaned as did the dishes as some still had food on them and also having booked a 2 room we had to ask for theseco d room to be unlocked.

M.1st night fine, in a 3 star motel, 2nd night, host not able to be contacted after 9 pm, lives on premises knew room full of teenagers were drinking, loud music, yelling, partying in carpark, and their room,with our hot rod cars there, this went on till about 1 pm in the morning, our room right next door, we just had to try and put up with it, on confronting her in the morning she said sorry, NOT GOOD ENOUGH, never had to put up with this in a motel before
