S. A.Amazing motel. The staff were so so nice and welcoming. Made sure we had everything we needed and more whilst there. Recommended the best cafes and take away in the area. The bed was really comfy had a great night's sleep. Showers were hot and water pressure the best we've had. Can't say enough positive things.
N. C.Stayed here with my furbaby. I love the fact that you can have your dog in the unit with you 🙂. Loved the cleverly folded towels in the shape of puppies 🥰. Pity about the other guests that kept opening our door by mistake... So had to lock the door in the end. The cleaners need to check the freezer compartment as there was a frozen pie left in there, also needed defrosting. And found a paper bag under the bed.🙄
K. M.Catherine is really working hard to make this place her own since she became the new owner .The rooms are spotless and the beds are comfy. Nice touches with free tea, coffee and biscuits. The free Wi-Fi is brilliant. Catherine is a great hostess and can recommend great places to visit. One of the cleanest Motels we have visited in NZ.
L. T.Stayed for a few nights during the Lions Tour. Was a great place to stay with heaps of great cafes and things todo around like Hobbiton and Blue Springs.
The owner was very helpful and friendly upon arrival and helped me with some information about the area during my stay. Well worth it.

Probably the most welcoming service in the world. Clean, tidy and comfortable. This a budget motel, aging and needs a revamp to bring it up to date, but I would rather they left it as it is. Quaint.

Really good value for money, clean and really lovely owners. Ning even made us sandwiches for a day trip we did. Definitely stay here again.
N. S.I stayed there 3 months ago and the rooms were terrible, however I just went there recently and the new owners have done a great job with the new refurbishment. The service was fantastic and I will be definitely be returning.
A. M.It's a great place to stop off half way to break a long journey and really relax.. I could hear birds chirping.. Nice place, clean and a building with character.. I mean nice character it's got a large bath and very good value for money.. Enough room for 5 although just me and my son went.. Because the teenagers changed their mind about heading down to Napier.. Highly recommended to break long journeys :) Tirau is a friendly little town also, with good cafes and corrugated artworks and a clock shop

K. M.Tirau motor inn very easy to find . good parking very friendly people , rooms are clean tidy warm and cosy . My rating is 10 out of 10 for the character of the Tirua motor inn 10 out of 10 for the room and 10 out of ten for the owners of the place the best thing about it a 10 out of 10 buses stop right outside the hotel. Yes we will stay here again
