We had an amazing 2 night stay at Te Koi. Ian and Ali were wonderful hosts. It is a beautifully maintained property with very private, clean and comfortable villas. Everything is in the villa has been thought through and arranged in great detail. We’ll make sure that our friends and families also enjoy this beautiful place.

Have just spent 3 nights at Te Koi. We cannot speak highly enough of the fabulous hospitality of Ali and Ian, and the quality of accommodation and location. We loved coming back to our cottage in the afternoon to a freshly baked loaf of bread and a plate of home made honey oat slice. The views were incredible all times of the day. Ali and Ian were so helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Thank you for a wonderful getaway treat!

Mix of sophistication, luxury in a very friendly atmosphere.
Hosts are polite and generous with a superb patronage.
Food is just delicious and location is very convenient.
We are amazed with the place. Cleanest lodge ever! Amazingly quiet. Flowers are everywhere and private ocean views to indulge your eyes. Great salt-water pool and tennis court.
You can even pick some plums for your delight at the private orchard at the lodge..
We can't wait to escape to The Te Koi Lodge again...

Te koi lodge is one of this place where you feel like a special guest and family at the time. From the garden to the villa, everything is chic, elegant and authentic. The villa had more then enough space to fit the 3 of us. The bed is super confortable, bathroom large and warm, living room area cosy, all space are decorated tastefully.
Fresh loaf of bread, homemade jam, freshly baked treats delivered ... make the stay very enchanting. Do not hesitate to seat with Ian and Ali who will share with you their love and knowledge of the region. Art gallery, family activities, great place to eat... they have provided us advice for daily activities and we stayed a week!!! if they sadly had to stop providing diner because of Covid impact on the hospitality Industry, there are plenty of nice restaurant to go in a 10 to 15 min drive around the lodge.
There is so much to discover in the region and coming back to the lodge just make the end of the day restful.
If you travel with kids, there is a large, safe and lovely garden for them to run and play plus a lovely swimming pool and tennis court!
But no worry, the property offer enough space to leave couple alone!!!
We enjoyed every minutes of our stay and can only warmly recommend Te Koi lodge. For family, couple, single traveler, this place and it’s host have so much to offer you will want to come back every seasons at minimum!!

Ian and Ali have created a little paradise in a great setting on a small cape with three beautifully furnished bungalows and a lovely main building all laid out in a wonderful garden. Food and wine are incredible and so is their hospitality. Clearly the favorite place in our New Zealand trip so far!

A fantastic place at the top of a peninsula - beautifully designed rooms, amazing garden, most delicious home cooked but high level food, communal kitchen breakfast and very gentle and warm hosts.... a place definitely to return.
