From sign in to sign out, was a 10/10 experience. The staff were amazing, accomodating and welcoming. Any questions were answered with ease. Facilities were amazing, pool area is something from a resort. The place is beautiful, great for little ones, games room, kitchen, outdoor area all such a good vibe. Definitely will be back again and again.

We stayed in a cabin at the waihi beach holiday park. It was amazing, great pool, great playground for the kids, all the facilities were clean and well equipped. It is a very short walk to the beach, dairy and fish and chips 1 min walk down the road. The staff were very friendly and helpful with anything and everything.

Thanks for a great stay ! This is a great place for a break - especially with kids. The pool is fantastic, facilities clean and the staff friendly. We loved the pizza oven night too ! Highly recommend. Cheers

Fantastic stay! Very accommodating. Had the tent under an old pohutukawa tree was thankful for the shade it was a large site. The eels under the bridge where amazing the kids loved it and spent a lot of time around the creek. Kids playground is in good shape and lots of fun had there. My son said after the first day ‘best day ever mum’ so it’s a hit with the kids for sure! The pool was a great temperature and had a good area for the kids with a wee fountain. Saturday night pizza oven night was awesome! The communal areas were keep nice and clean and the beach was super close! Will be back very soon.

On arrival the front counter staff (sorry didn't get your name) had prepared a gift for our daughter's birthday who just turned 2. We were blown away with the friendly gesture and the service. The facilities were amazing, clean and so accessible. The whole campground is child friendly 100%, pool was amazing, communal areas had everything you needed, even had the pizza oven burning away. Such an awesome place to take the kids we recommend this campground to everyone and anyone, especially families. 10/10

Beachside sites are small. Could barely get our 7.5 metre moterhome in. Main side of the camp may be better. Facilities are clean and tidy.

Great place to stay, especially with children. There is a swimming pool with a slide and toddler space, as well as a spa pool. Go karts are available to borrow, there is a jumping pillow, playground, giant chess, communal and private facilities. There is also a special stream running through the area that is FULL of eels that you can feed. There are recycling facilities and a worm farm by the laundry.

Everything has been thought of at Waihi Beach Top10. They have an amazing recreation area where we really enjoyed the pool, spa, gym, water slide, dining tables and pizza oven. The pizza oven takes pizzas to the next level. Loved the little BBQ spot with the bouncing cushion. The landscaping is beautiful native Nikau and Pohutukawa. Feeding the eels was a unique bonus experience. The service by staff exceeded our expactations. We travelled with a disabled family member and the excellent service and facilities allowed their full participation and enjoyment. Also very very clean , great beach location and signs and information.

First time there. Just about had it too ourselves. Mind you it was winter time. Great camping ground. Everything was spotless. Great swimming pool and wet slide. Spar pool and all. Well worth the trip ☺️.

We absolutely loved our stay here at the holiday park, The kitchen and pool facilities were always kept clean and tidy, plenty of things to keep the kids occupied, games room & playground but feeding the eels was top of the list. Staff member leaane was incredibly hospitable showing us around the park & directions to the village near by. Very relaxing enjoyable couple of days. We will definitely return for future holidays.

This is a wonderful resort for families. The facilities are amazing, all very clean. My daughter would spend all day in the pool and is the perfect place for parents to relax, with a number of loungers. The bbq area by the pool has some lovely outdoor furniture and a pizza oven. The staff are what make this place so wonderful, all very friendly and helpful. We had an issue with booking through booking.com but the manager was amazing and helped me to contact them and sort out the issue, even though it was not top 10 fault they upgraded us for the issue we had with booking.com to a lovely self contained unit with sea views (I totally recommend splashing out to experience this well appointed unit). If you are looking for an amazing getaway destination then book Waihi top 10 and I suggest booking direct, for a no hassle booking.

Relaxing, great staff, busy when all guests are on site, family focused, could do with a blower to clean up some areas of foliage, well maintained, clean...

We visited Waihi Beach Top 10 in March this year, with the intent to try the beach wheelchairs they have available for hire. The team at the Top 10 were amazing and so helpful with all our questions, and made sure we were comfortable in the chair. We found the Accessible Unit to be perfect for our needs as well as clean and tidy, and we loved the pool/spa area. Our daughter loved her time in the beach wheelchair down on Waihi Beach, the freedom was amazing and what a picturesque spot! Would happily recommend staying here!

Awesome place, we rented out a nice little 2 bedroom unit on the beachfront. The beach was absolutely stunning. A really good place if you have kids too, as their is alot of activities for them here, such as an arcade, a jumping pillow, a cool pool with a slide, a nice park. A few good places to eat, the only thing is shops close fairly early here, so a couple nights had to go without dinner.

Staff was very friendly and help us get into a cabin quick and fast on a rainy day and we had bikes. we hadn't pre-booked so it was good. We decided to stay an extra night and they were accommodating. The pool was warm the spa was hots and the areas were all clean.

Beautiful holiday park! We recently stayed in one of their powered sites and all I can say is that I couldn't be happier and that we'll definitely return soon. The staff was super friendly, the facilities were clean and tidy and the pool was just perfect. There's plenty of things to do, especially for kids, and most of them loves the eels. It's a short walk to the beach with some shops nearby if you forgot something or wanna get some hot food. Highly recommended!

Good facilities, great location although a bit crowded and short on open space (a common problem now with the need to maximize returns in high season). If it costs me $500 to stay in a cabin for a weekend, I don't expect to have to pay extra for my kids to use the games room equipment. Something to consider..

One of our favourite campsites only two hours from Auckland. The kids love the pool and the slide and they turn on the pizzaoven on Saturday and Sunday so we made great woodfired pizzas. Due to the small size it's truly packed though, with children roaming around on little scooters everywhere so if you like piece and quiet this is not the place for you. It is close to the amazing beach and you can do some great walks around here as well.

Popular place, very busy in the summer of course, and quite pricey. However it's a fantastic location with great facilities and a cool family-friendly vibe. We got a powered site right near the beach and enjoyed our 2-night stay.

Our favourite Top10 campsite. Great facilities, esp the pool. We stayed in a powered site by the beach which was epic. So close the kids could happily play on the beach and come back to the tent safely. Amenities were clean and good quality. The nearby dairy also did tasty fish and chips and there is an awesome local cafe a short walk down the beach worth checking out.

Not our first visit but as always, a friendly, helpful team. An extremely clean and well-managed resort in a pristine environment, the kind New Zealand is proud of and only two hours from Auckland. The heated pool and spa make this all-year round beach holiday resort a winner.

Thoroughly enjoyed my short stay here. The staff were really accomodating, going out of their way to answer any questions we had. The pool and proximity to the beach was most welcome, to combat the recent heat we've been experiencing. Highly recommend.

This place was amazing for our stay with 2 adults and 3 kids staff were friendly and helpful facilitys were clean and easy to use kids had great time in the heated pool and on the playground unit was perfect size for our family very comfortable stay

What a lovely resort. We stayed in a double room seaview motel. We had all the kitchen appliances, cutlery etc one would need, including A tv in each bedroom. The resort is clean and well maintained. The bbq area is well appointed with several gas bbq's and a pizza oven. Several large tables and chairs all under a louvre, with a kitchen and several basins right there. The pool was crystal clear, and about 29°. Our girls spent hours between the pool and the stunning beach right across the road. There are some tricycle-style gokarts which provided hours of entertainment. I got to charge my car at the resort using one of the two 22kW chargers onsite for 10$. It maxed out at 7kW though, probably due to single phase wiring. Staff was extremely friendly and helpfull. Highly recommend, 100% would go there again!

We stayed in number 19. It was a bit cramped for 4 adults I can't imagine more adults fitting comfortably in the place made for 8. Bathroom, shower and kitchen facilities were very clean and tidy. You also have a lot of space in the public spaces so no need to stay in the room. The swimming pool was colder than I expected but it will definitely be a good temperature on warmer days. We used the spa instead for a lovely relaxing time. We will definitely visit them again.

Excellent accommodation! We booked 2 motel units for us and our friends and they were exceptional! So clean, warm, spacious and a well equipt kitchenette. Our intention was to go to the pub for the night, instead we had a blast trying to master the pizza oven, many laughs had, sadly the pizzas didn't survive! We will be back to try again!! Thanks Top 10, we had an excellent night!!

We had a powered campervan site for one night. All the expected facilities were there and of a good standard. The price per night was significantly higher than other campgrounds we visited on the same trip. Also I found it to be quite cramped for maneuvering the campervan. When we went to leave the next morning, we were a few minutes late and our exit code no longer worked. A bit heavy handed. Most campgrounds leave their barrier up in the daytime.

Fantastic Top 10. Really decent facilities, great kitchens, lounges and pool areas. The park is covered in trees and is lovely! A little hard to get the caravan into some sites but well worth it!

Lovely clean camp ground with all the amenities including wifi. A little on the steep side - $46 for 2 people for 1 night, quite standard for top 10's though. Nice quiet spot within a couple of minutes walking distance from the beach. (Could hear the waves at night). Dog friendly as well which was a bonus! Seems quite strict re sites which weren't huge (understandable this time of year) but tables on each site made for an easy set up. Will stop by again on our way south.

Lovely way to finish our journey for the day. Booked in here and went straight to the pool. Amazing surroundings, great atmosphere and excellent facilities. Would definitely come back

Great campsite, welcoming staff and brilliant facilities. They have a family bathroom for bathing/showering under 5's, which was a great addition. The campsite is split into 2 parts, 1 by the beach and 2nd main section by all the main facilities. Lovely pool and BBQ area. We only stayed for 1 night, as lots of places to visit. There is a dairy/convenience store just down the road, but it is very expensive!!

The holiday park has excellent location at Waihi Beach. The facilities were great too, pool is of a great size and has a mini slide. The shared shower was exceptionally clean. We had a studio unit, decent size for a short stay, packed with amenities (hob, hair dryer, ensuite bathroom n toilet, could probably change the tap in the bathroom tho as it just splashed everywhere!). The bed was ok, a bit on the uncomfortable side, but they provided a bunch of different pillows for your different liking, so that's a definite bonus. If you are looking for an affordable place to stay by the beach that you can go in and out all the time, this is the best! Make sure to book ahead of time as this is a popular spot!

We have just stayed in the glamping tent for 2 nights. We live rurally so we are not used to noise and right behind us was the main area where there was a family reunion being held, it was a happy sound of families having fun. my 11 yr old son loved all the other kids playing in the pool. the receptionist Marie was very understanding when i went to ask if there was a vacant cabin we could have for our second night(i wasn't complaining but just thought it may be more peaceful for us).Marie let my son use a trike that normally you'd have to pay for and also gave us another great deal so we will surely be back thanks Marie !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Marie is so lovely and has the Best Customer Service I have ever experienced. The Resort is Beautiful and has plenty to do for the kids. Parents can kick back in the Spa, it was really relaxing here, my family and I loved it. The Price is Well Worth the Stay 😊

Fantastic place to camp with your family. So much too do. Positioned well, and a short walk to the beach. The best place for kids. Kitchen facilities are great, and very clean. One of the better places we have stayed, and will definitely be back!

Top 10 Waihi was our last stop on a 6 day Central East Coast tour. The service was outstanding, the facilities excellent and we could not have asked for a more perfect end to our holiday. Highly recommend.

Stayed here twice, including during a week day. It was lovely to enjoy the warm spa and pool during the week. Everyone was very accommodating as we made changes to our plans. Our second visit included a booking error ...having us booked in for an entirely different weekend. Luckily it was a shoulder season and the team accommodated us in an upgraded motel unit from the one expected (without the extra charge). The units are tidy with excellent facilities. Thank you Kim, Marie and the team.

Nice people and good facilities except we didn't like the unisex toilet /shower block on the beach side, 3 toilets and 3 showers shared 😒 the most expensive campsite i have stayed at but a good location

We had a great stay at Waihi Beach TOP 10 Holiday Resort. Friendly staff, great facilities and location. We loved the pool and the pizza oven!! Thanks to Lindsey and Mike for greeting us and answering all of our questions. Can’t wait to come back!

I stayed on the power site with a camper van. * Good points: All of the staffs are very friendly. Facilities were very clean / unlimited - hot water pool and hot spas. * Discomforts: The ground surface of the campervan site was uneven and slightly irregular, and there was unbalance. It was inconvenient because there was a slight incline in one direction. Others, I think they are doing well all the time as well as new. I want to visit again.

Out of the 15 or so Top 10s we stayed in this was the worst and certainly not premium. Staff were friendly and helpful, sorted an issue with the hot water very quickly, but site is overcrowded and facilities not as expected for the classification. Needs a complete rethink, position on the beach is it's saving grace.

Had an awsome family outing here. However family rooms are very small. We (approx 30pp) have stayed at a few top 10 places and these would have the smallest family rooms by far. 6 people cannot fit comfortably with bags and trying to walk around. Workers etc are however very accommodating and helpful

We have just had a lovely weekend at the top ten motor camp waihi beach. A big thanks to Ian and his team for organizing a great weekend for people who had been nominated by their family or friends for a free break away. Had a really great stay at Waihi Beach top 10. The location, facilities and staff made our stay really superb. A special mention must be made to Robyn on reception who was really friendly and accommodating- she went out of her way to share her local knowledge of things to do in the area and to ensure our stay was the best it could have been. Thankyou very much- We will be back!

We had the most wonderful experience here at waihi beach top 10! Awesome facilities with great hours, and just steps from one of the nicest beaches in NZ! The staff there were very caring and understanding, especially Matt as he was there to help us when needed and gave us plenty to do around the area! Would love to visit again

Waihi Beach Top 10 is a great holiday park with lots of amenities. It is close to the beach and a local dairy. The staff are all very nice and attentive and the place was near spotless. Only downside would be the price, which gets quite expensive if you have many people travelling with you.

Very clean and comfortable facilities as well as exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. The location is great too - within 5 minutes walking distance to the beach. Will definitely be coming back!

We just had our family reunion at Waihi Beach Top 10 Holiday Resort over this weekend. There was 78 of us. We had an awesome stay. The facilitates were very accommodating, lots of space, the rooms were a good size and we loved waking up to the beautiful sunrise and the ocean views. Thank you to the amazing staff in the office, care takers and cleaners for the support and awesome hospitality. Nga Mihi Nui 💜

Great facilities and awesome swimming pool! However, choose your site wisely. We were right next to the playground, which is meant to be closed at 8pm (but wasn't until 9.30 pm most nights) and my two little ones (2 & 5 yo) were severely sleep deprived (and grumpy) due to the noise from there. Lesson learned!

Stayed in one of the units that has a king bed in the living room and a bedroom with 6 bunk beds. Really packed place but amazing location with the beach only a couple of minutes away. Also has excellent facilities including a pool. Very clean and tidy.

Friendly, Clean and welcoming holiday park. The service team were fantastic, pool is relaxing and enjoyable for the whole family. The park layout was easy to navigate and provided a range of accomodation options that suited families of all shapes and sizes.

We stayed 6 nights for the school holidays. We had such an amazing time. Everything was clean and the staff was amazing! Always super friendly, professional and very helpful! Would definitely recommend and would love to go stay there again 😊

Nice camp, we spent 3 days during school holidays in a seaside motel unit, nice units for a few days, kids loved the pool, spa and playground areas and nice access to beautiful Waihi Beach. Camp was really clean and tidy, one down point was the advertised kids club didn’t happen but didn’t worry us as plenty to do anyway - would stay again

Umm, actually the best motor camp we've ever been to. I liken it to a resort on a Spanish island I've been to. Loads of families with good attitudes and the facilities are first class. One of our kids was a little unwell later one night and a staff member went well out of her way to help us. Unreal.

Really good! Amazing facilities, super clean, walking distance to the beach (2 minutes). Make sure to book a spot, you will find it's so good that for sure its very popular.

Great camp ground, great location, great facilities. The down side is the density of the facility. There is a lot packed in to a small space. Roads are tight, and camp sites are generally very small.

Such a neat place to stay! I LOVED seeing the eels that live in the cute lil creek, my boyfriend enjoyed using the pool, I secretly loved the waterslide ;), and overall we enjoyed our stay :)

Superb site, everything you could possibly need and beach literally just over the road. Don't know about the camping but my caravan was rather expensive for 3nights. But would still thoroughly recommend.

Stayed overnight on a beach site. All very tidy and clean. Friendly staff, good wifi access. All facilities including washers and dryers were good. Great town to visit.

Location and facilities are awesome. Loved hot pools. Price in early December I thought was rather expensive for tiny unit, but with a view. Maybe just me?

We found it perfect for families. Our children loved the pool and the beach, but mainly the heated pool which is great to have in winter. Happy staff and clean facilities. Cannot fault this place.

Very crowded,small Sites. Gym behind childrens Play area,so people walked through it sweating from the Gym. Waihi beach ist Just in Walking distance and very nice!! There are other Classic top tens much nicer I thought. But depends of what you Like.

Fabulous venue, family loved it

Only 30min Wifi for free. Overall quality of facilities is OK, everything seems to be old and used. For families good, a lot of playing zones. Price/Performance ratio is a better in other top 10 places, in which we ve been.

Excellent place to bring the family - either in cabins or tenting. Great facilities including large heated pool and less than a five minute walk to the beach.

Clean facilities & hot pool and spa for the children all year around and just over an hour from south Auckland. Perfect place in low season with not too many people around. Make sure you walk to Orakaua bay it is really something.

Sadly after a 2 night stop over we had to pull out of this beautiful Holiday Park nestled in a picturesque location. Marie was awesome and Kelly could not have been more helpful. The facilities were very clean, conveniently located and refreshing. The spa and heated pool looked inviting, even for the middle of Winter. A must see is WB Quack Quack the duck who guards the red walk bridge over Eel Creek. He can be hand feed bread, so to the swarm of Long Finned Eels who reside in the creek below the bridge. Unfortunately the weather wasn't our friend during our stay and the premium motorhome sites on the beach side had washed into the Eel Creek after recent servere rains. Marie offered us a paved site close to the main facilities which was superb. She also offered me the use of the large fish smoker. I was planning on catching a brace from the Beach but the local tackle shop which was open when we arrived was closed the day I wanted to go fishing. Loved this place and would highly recommend a stay. One other activity I would recommend is the walk over the Bluff at the North end of the Waihi Beach into the hidden Orokawa Beach. It was a little slippery in the wet but well worth the effort. Thanks again for a very pleasant stopover.

Great location and facilities. Preferred the beach side, but maybe a little tight on size.

The beach alone is worth a stay! A walk through Orokawa Bay and further into the bush to William Wright Falls is definitely also worth the walk. Decent surf options as well. Also a personel favorite of mine; are the eels that Ian keep on site :)

Great place to crash especially as it was a very wet and windy night. Awakened by the lovely sound of crashing waves the beach side of this resort where we stayed is small but compact.

Midweek breakaway. Took advantage of the reduced midweek rates. Can't fault the camp. Very clean and good facilities. Spent so much time in the pool. We'll be back 🙂.

Love this place. Great facilities and lovely surroundings. All sites are powered, hot showers included with your stay, fab kitchen facilities.

This place rocks the whole place is so clean and Tidy.. can't wait to get back to see the completed bouncy pillow retaining wall.... Pool was awesome Spa was even better.... Pizza oven what a cool feature.... loved the bike repair station at the front gate.... We will be back.....

This is probably not the cheapest holiday camp however it is one of the best. Great facilities and very good staff. Even if it is wet the Waihi Beach kids program certainly keeps them occupied and happy.

A wonderful facility that had everything you needed and more. The pizza oven was great and everything was kept so clean. We had a great time and thoroughly recommend the place.

Excellent location. Great place to spend time with friends, colleagues, kids etc. Public washrooms available and in good condition. Hot food available near the beach. Plenty of parking availible. Disabled facilities availible. It is a trendy place. Highly recommended.

Great camp site with top notch amenities. Our campsites were very small though and had to park our car a block away on the road; this isn’t typical though.

Easy to book, friendly knowledgeable receptionist, super clean and neat room, surprise was electric blankets, great shared facilities. Will be back.

Nice park-like grounds and great facilities for kids. Beware of the cancellation policy though, you can't get a refund if the weather forecast looks bad.

Very good beach with beautiful walks around. I was in a self-contained van and everything is planed for it : toilets, cold shower, wearing room... I really enjoyed this place.

We went the beach it is a great beach but their were no great waves for boogy boarding and I got Sunbury but over all it was fun I would definitely come here again

Take your own toilet paper theirs is the worst. Very busy / crowded on the weekends. Owners should investigate complaints before assuming they are true.

Close to the beach, absolutely jammed packed at the height of summer. Not sure the word "resort" is correct, but it's pretty good for a camping ground.

This holiday park is incredible! It has amazing swimming pool, hot pool, gym, infrared sauna, wood fire pizza oven and so on. I had such a lovely stay. I would recommend to visit in shoulder season, then it's a bit quieter and you might just get a pool to yourself for an hour or so. Beach is also just 5 min walk away.

Have stayed here in a Campervan and it was awesome literally two seconds away from the beach. Every time we come to Waihi we use their spare surfboards and wetsuits. Staff are always super friendly!!

Great place to take the whānau, lots for tamariki to do; loved how close to the beach, great fishing spots for the Dads. Very helpful staff.

Just stayed 2 nights - wish it was 7. An absolutely sparkling clean and well presented facility, our cabin was comfortable and well appointed, and had all and more than we needed, the swimming pool is primo for adults and kids, the little creek and eels are fab.... it was excellent in every way. No complaints whatsoever. Friendly, helpful staff, I doubt they could improve on anything. Heaps to see and do around Waihi and surrounds. Awesome beach, and walk to Orokawa Beach just over the hill is a MUST. Top spot for staying if you're doing Waihi/Paeroa cycle trail.

One of the best camping sites we've been to, staff are friendly and helpful and always working to keep the place clean and tidy, definitely recommend this place, kids loved it especially the swimming pool..facilities 10/10..
