I think these are fantastic motels. They are spotlessly clean with a separate toilet from the bathroom. The rooms are double glazed which makes them quiet even though the motel is on a main road. The ground floor has a beautiful outside courtyard area which is maintained to a high standard. It’s shaded by large palm trees. The upstairs room have a little balcony with patio table and chairs. The owner is so friendly. The wifi was fine and the sky TV has many channels.

Rooms a very out dated, concrete walls, dated appliances, I couldn't trust the outlets etc, stayed with 3 adults, 2 children and could only have 1 towel each a day which is an issue considering we went to Waihi for the beach. Cindy the host was polite enough however stayed new years eve and a town siren went off the entire night, my kids were scared and I kept doors locked not knowing what was going on, I would have expected hosts to inform the guests of the emergency but received no help, we called fire department ourselves to find out what was going on and it was apparently house fires etc...still unsettling for out of towners. Ended up leaving a day early so we could get some decent rest. Kids couldn't wait to go home. Location wise, in the city with not much to do other then walk to a local park and look at the mines. On a positive note Waihi beach was outstanding, the lifeguard service down here is amazing had an awesome time during their annual racing events for all ages with free ice creams and sausages etc, big props to the lifeguard service men and woman here.

Highly recommend this motel. Room would be the best motel room I have stayed in, roomy, very clean and everything available including mega TV channels and free wi-fi. Very close proximity to the main street shopping. Proprietors were really nice people, and very willing to be of assistance and make our stay as pleasant and enjoyable as it could be. First class experience.

Nice well presented rooms, with a good amount of space to suit family's with a few kiddies, 100% top marks on cleanliness and hygiene. Good Central location with onsite parking, also cheap priced laundry (washer/dryer) available on-site. And cant forget the Free WiFi. Little bit more on the pricey side but the cost comes with level of service provided

Very friendly and helpful. Very clean and tidy rooms, well equipped. Easy walking distance to the main shops/cafes etc. Didn’t hear any road traffic and sky tv was a bonus as was the wifi. Highly recommend.

Its a little tired but Comfortable rooms well heated in winter. Good kitchen in the one brm Apartment. The hosts went out of their way to accommodate us. Very handy position close to small supermarket and easy walk to town center.

Lovely warm welcome. Excellent warm spacious rooms. I was grateful for this as it was a cold couple of days. There is a wall heater as well as a heat pump in the lounge room. We had a 1 bedroomed unit upstairs. There were 2 single beds in the bedroom and the double bed was in the lounge room...in hindsight we would have only booked a studio unit if we’d known this as the single beds were not needed by us (travelling as a couple). We had a full kitchen and bathroom was satisfactory with a large shower and plenty of hot water. Toiletries are provided. There is double glazing on the windows in the front of the unit however the motel is right on the main road so expect a lot of traffic noise in the night and early morning. The owner/manager? Called by the morning and left extra towels, tea & coffee and milk for our second day stay. The motel is close to town...an easy walk.

Myself and my sister stayed one night. We had a small room. It was a disabled unit with a lovely huge shower. My sister was to have a mattress to sleep on. Unfortunately she was given a single mattress base to sleep on as management believed that the base was a mattress. Another that we found the unit to be beautifully clean, had all be crockery etc that anyone would need. The management lovely people very attentive couldn't do enough to makes us comfortable other than the mattress. We would recommend anyone to stay there. Cheers

A lovely family run motel that couldn't do enough for us. Anything we needed wasn't a problem for them. Beautiful gardens too. Sound proof rooms which is great. Clean Clean.!?! Well this is the cleanest motel my brother Thane & myself have ever stayed in 10 out of 10. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Your cleaners are amazing.

Clean and tidy. But had such a disturbed sleep from trucks passing we only stayed the one night even though we had paid for two nights. Wasn't given a password so couldn't access the free WiFi and could hear people in the next room through the wall. The door to the back porch was also noisy and hard to open and close. Bed was a bit firm for my liking.

Our room was nice enough, the people running it are friendly. There's an astonishing open cast mine up the road, worth a visit. But the traffic was really noisy all night. It's right on the main road and big trucks seem to go all night. If you have ear plugs then it's OK.

The rooms were very clean but it was like being in a time warp back to the 70s. Furniture, walls and cupboards were all very scruffy so because of this I felt the rooms were quite overpriced.

Very nice room. (12) great customer service. Would have liked some info in the room for how sky works. About the internet. When check out is etc. Not many sky channels which is disapointing. You can hear the rest of the people staying through the walls.

Lovely small safe motel. The front desk lady was very pleasant. There was one wheelchair access unit and the wet floor shower in our standard unit was to die for. I want one.
