Have stayed a few times now and the place is generally great. The kids love the pools. Big apartments. Modern. However this time we stayed in summer for the first time. The main bedroom did not have a window to the outside (not sure this is actually legal?) and there is no cooling. It was like trying to sleep in a sauna.

Fairly good stay. Amazing facilities but the internet was poor. We were unable to conduct Zoom calls and watch F1 from our room. Overall a lovely place to relax. Less so to work.

Great place to stay, nice pools and spa, the Pina Colada and Beer Batterd Chips is a must go, great service and friendly staff. Only downfall is the TV's still analog and just have the basic NZ channels, they have smart TV's fitted but you cannot connect to wifi or watch Netflix for example.

Pool/gym complex can't be beaten. Fantastic facilities. We had a studio apartment that had washer, dryer, kitchen. Very well appointed. Comfy bed. TV could do with more options. Maybe a Chromecast? Wifi was also very weak and patchy. Another small con was that we had this room for 9 nights and they serviced it only once! No fresh towels, coffee, sugar, milk, anything. I understand rooms are not serviced every day now, but definitely could have done with a couple more. Just felt a little forgotten. However, I loved my stay here and had a great time in Wanaka. Beautiful place.

Enjoyed our stay here.... except for the length of time it took to get any hot water for the shower. A serious waste of cold water before the hot came through.

Gym and pools excellent , staff friendly but the apartments are getting tired The hard floor was dirty, 2 light bulbs out in the bathroom , 2 insects had either had been squashed on the ceiling in the lounge or someone had flicked snot up there and a few other details that let the place down.

Service was fantastic and so was the restaurant but it is over priced for the accommodation especially seeing as it is tired and worn out the pool area needs some TLC

Beautiful place to stay, friendly proffessional staff, nice amenities.. If youre fussy about your toilet paper bring your own bkoz the queenstown backpapers do softer toilet paper than these sand paper rolls at the resort, and eat elsewhere too. They changed the menu on us, sent us a menu with steak and ribs and changed it prior to our booking. Awesome resort tho will definatly be back with my own toilet rolls and my own food to cook 🤣🤣 Still worthy of a 5star rating !!

A mixed review for us, bed was super comfy, but as a family of 5 spread over 3 rooms would of been nice if the amount of plates matched the cutlery. 3 dessert bowls and 4 spoons! Had to use our room towels for the pool and had to walk through reception to get back from the pool. Felt a bit weird when you are dripping wet. Was great having a washer machine in our room. The twin room upstairs had 2 hand basins but the master room only had 1. Little things like extra towels, pillows or even more milk would turn my 3 stars into 4 or 5

My family occupied 3 apartments through Accor vacation club and found them very well appointed. We all enjoyed the resort facilities making good use of the swimming pools and hot tubs. We found the staff very pleasant and helpful particularly Needham in the restaurant and bar. She is an asset to your hotel

Rooms were ok for us overnight. Good parking. Resturant seemed to struggle slightly at three quarters fill with some of our group orders forgotten but food was pretty good. Cooked breakfast was quite good and reasonably priced but tea and toast was a bit over the top at 1 tea bag and 2 thin slices of toast for $9.50

Great place to stay in Wanaka, beautiful gardens, friendly staff and great facilities... An array of pools and the best fitness centre that I have experienced in a resort... 😊

Our stay was amazing. Only problem was that two out of the five hot water spars were out of order so we had to share with a few other couples , not really a problem but also not the romantic spar I was hoping for.

Stayed for 7 nights as I booked through Interval International. Fully equipped with all the amenities required for a comfortable, homely stay. The closest supermarket is a short 5 mins drive away in Wanaka Town Centre. Surroundings are very quiet and conducive for a morning jog/stroll.

Hot tubs in the pool area were great nice n hot roughly 40degs. Room was ok mini fridge didnt fit on the shelf properly so wasnt stable and ran out of hot water having a shower. Nice big tv but wasnt in front of bed was opposite bathroom.

It's a great resort for rest and relaxation! We came for the pools and enjoyed very much. It would be better if the spa pools had bubbles but just as hot pools they were still lovely. It was so quiet while we were there - just bliss!

Pools was nice, hot tubs not hot enough though, rooms nice but shower is broken and water leaks all through the bathroom, and had the worst sleep in the middle of a double bed which I in turn found out were 2 single beds put together. Not highly recommended

The hot tubs were nice for a soak at the end of our day. The View from our room of the snow capped ranges were lovely. Florence Cafe across the road has delicious breakfasts and lunches, along with a great selelction of food from their shop. A handy location to set off to Queenstown over the Crown Ranges.

Stayed here for a week, highlights of the stay would be the hot pools and sauna. Looked at gym and extremely well equipped. Plenty of parking adjacent to my apartment.

Friendly staff but was a bit disappointed on arrival, room was smaller than expected, bed and pillows were very hard and uncomfortable, rooms were cleaned daily and heater was put on to warm the room which was nice. I was tossing up between this place and another one but choose this one because of the spas etc but didn't end up using them as they were either cold or lukewarm so very disappointed, was quite when we were there and wouldn't want to be there when it was busy. Bar wasn't that appealing so didn't end up using that either

Close to town, and we enjoyed the solitude. The room was subpar, especially for the price, and the amenities were somewhat misleading (there are not 9 heated pools, there's are 2 heated pools and 7 surrounding hot tubs). The hot tub itself was nice and check in was easy.

Rooms and scenery are nice, hot tubs little under heated for my liking, but the cold 5 second blast of water in the change rooms unwelcomed. Dampened my experience. Lovely staff though.

Beautiful place. Amazing customer service. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The hot pools were relaxing and just what is needed after a day adventuring. Well done Oakridge resort and staff, you do an amazing job.

Another great accommodation along the way of exploring New Zealand. Hot pools, heated swimming pool and the room makes you speechless. Everything is there for self catering. Washer and Dryer is in the room as well. Can’t fault anything. From start to finish excellent

Stayed in this facility for my honeymoon. Very nice hotel. Facilities are clean and well maintained. I appreciated the extent of the kitchen tools and the warming for place. The 4-star review was because: a) the blaster bedroom in our flat had no windows, which made waking up/getting air difficult without leaving the door to the main room open, and b) some rooms have better Mountain View’s than others, and ours happened to have a view obscured by other buildings.

Stayed for one night in the very lovely Wanaka. The resort was adequate enough for a place to stay. The best part was definitely the view, the grounds are also beautiful. Enjoyed the pool area, except the hot tubs don't have jets. The parts that could be improved were the beds, which was two twin mattresses pushed together so there was an annoying crease in the centre. The food was adequate (had breakfast there).

There were some great points about this place and also some not so great. We chose this hotel because it was out of town and has the ‘resort style’ we wanted - restaurant and bar onsite, pools, spas and a spa retreat. The suite we stayed in was very comfortable and had fabulous amenities. Sadly we were informed on arrival that the restaurant and bar were closed and the meals we had prepaid for would not be available. This was really disappointing and meant that we then had to travel back into town to eat - a drive not a walk...... On departure I reminded the staff that I still needed a refund for the food I hadn’t eaten and I was told that I never paid for it!! After showing them my bank account which clearly showed I had prepaid all of the costs they still argued with me. I’ve now finally had the refund but I felt marginalised at the hotel and won’t be back :-( A simple email before I arrived warning me that the restaurant was closed on Monday’s and Tuesday’s (when we stayed) and an early refund would have saved all this hassle. Communication isn’t difficult 😔

Nice resort with outdoor hot pool temperature at 38, 30 degree and a small swimming pool closed by.! The room I had was a one bedroom apartment, everything is up to its cost, no surprises (which is a good thing). Resort is surrounded by mountains, so you won’t see lake Wanaka, but the mountains are magnificent. Restaurant is poor, don’t think they are trying very hard on it, no one was there when I went at 6pm, and food was no up to resort standard. Lastly and most importantly, the sound insulation is terrible, you can hear most of everything next door or upstairs.!

I fell in love with this place and town. Stayed for a week with my family and it was a memorable stay. Fantastic apartments, very spacious and the pool was amazing, even for a swim in August in the cold, we just couldn't resist. Will definitely be coming back...

We were initially pretty excited to stay here. The hotel was o.k at best. The room was clean but definitely more expensive than the other hotels in the region. It is a about 1-2miles to the central/downtown Wanaka so you will have to drive down there instead of a simple walk. My biggest issue with this hotel was there is no central air conditioning. There was also no fan. We had to keep the windows open but even that didn't cool the room down. This was especially uncomfortable since we were their during the summertime and it was hot all day. We were excited for the hot tub, but even that was a disappointment. The hot tub was luke warm and the jets would not turn on. They have several other hot tubs there and we checked them too and all of them were the same, luke warm and nonfunctioning jets. We read a couple of the other reviews and it said there was a washer/dryer. These were not in our room. Had more expectations for a place that is called a Resort.

A wonderful place to stay,very quiet. The apartment was lovely and spacious. Loved the hot pools and swimming pools. Great place to stay, will be back again.

This place was fantastic! Had two large pools one of which is heated along with smaller individual spa baths located around the main pool. Rooms were very decent with the basic necessities. Staff were so friendly throughout our stay at this hotel. There was loads of free onsite parking which made things very easy going to and from the car. As for location the Hotel is very close to the main town which was very handy! Would defiantly come back again!

Lovely staff and very big complex. We stayed here for the pools, but found they weren't very hot when we went to use them so didn't. We also go moved rooms as we decided to stay an extra night before we arrived. The room we ended up in seemed older than the one we would of had.

Great place to stay in wanaka! Apartments very clean and well equipped for own cooking...however Florence's Foodstore and cafe across the road so I frequent there every day for delicious food and coffee

So it is actually a really nice hotel in wanaka. They have amenities from a laundry machine and a dryer in the room (if you get a big one), breakfast, to a decent sized swimming pool. However, I think wanaka is too pretty of a city compared to the hotel. I would choose a cheaper option just to sleep for the night and figure everything else at the city.

Nice hotel with good pool and well located on the outskirts of Wanaka. However, we had repeated issues with room keys - including being locked out at 1am in the morning (with reception already closed) - and didn't receive any apology for the issues we faced.

We got a clean room a bit off the main building which was basic but still pretty nice and clean. Free amenities like the pool and the gym were a plus for us. The hotel is a bit outside the city but reachable quickly via car. -1 for poor Internet connection.

Oakridge resort in wanaka was absolutely amazing! AAA+++ from us...we will be back! Very relaxing and enjoyable! The staff were very friendly and inviting and made our stay there better then any other motel we have been to. The views were AMAZING..the pools and spas were so hot in minus degree weather. The restaurant was nice and the waitress bar maid was absolutely lovely :) We recommend every1 to go check out this hidden getaway ❤

I only visit at family next door look great

Stayed in 5 hotels in 7 days at the beginning of November 2016 and this hotel, while perfectly acceptable, stood out from the others because of what it didn't have. The room didn't have a safe that I could find so that was disappointing. This was the only place that charged for WiFi - at only $10 it wasn't much but again, it stood out for this reason. The door was frosted glass which let a lot of lovely light into the room but at night the security light in the porch shone directly into the room. The blackout curtains keep the light from coming in the windows but that was negated by the glass door. There weren't enough accessible power points to be able to charge my three devices and the location was a bit further out of town than I expected. Staff were lovely. Nice to have easy parking just right outside.

Nice hotel. The pools are not hot. One is luke warm and the other two are cold. There are 6 spa pools but they get taken and you have to wait.

Heated pools are JUST WARM, no way to turn it up - they are NOT SPAs No proper instruction for Sauna. GYM has ONLY Treadmills and cycling, NO weights or anything else. Walls are not soundproof. Light shines through front glass door at night. Swipe card reader is fidgety. Breakfast was expensive with little variety. Other than these factors, its okay.

Hidden away is the fabulous Resort and Yes with outdoor space pools . Fantastic in winter as well as summer. Lovely rooms . Pleasant staff and a great restaurant. I do suggest strongly that you book in and stay there, use the pools and relax

Place is nice and comfortable. Unfortunately the kitchen utensils are not clean. Kitchen cabinet doors are dropping due to faulty hinges. Fire place fan is very noisy. All due to lack of maintenance. If not it would have been a five star.

Nice hotel with good rooms despite having an old CRT TV and not an HD flatscreen, but then again most people don't visit for the TV. The pool area is lovely - pool is icecold but there are plenty of hot tubs so that everyone can have their own. Couldn't figure out a way to activate the bubbles though, so they're more like hot pools rather than Jacuzzis.

Apartment was well equipped but was dated. Would have been 5 stars if apartment was refurbished.

Enjoyed a two night stay here, beautiful surroundings, very laid back & peaceful. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. We ate at the restaurant, the food was good and not too expensive. The lake in Wanaka is very tranquil.

Quite a nice place although very few basic amenities. If you are the kind of person who only eats out this might be ok. No kitchen at all, no microwave, only tiny fridge, no bench space. One tiny bin in bathroom only. Nice but not if you're trying to be self sufficient.

Nice place, apartments very well equipped (including washing machine and drier) but the details are already showing some sign of aging. If you can, avoid the apartments at the sides of the buildings: they can be close to the road and privacy is not granted.

Lovely 4 star accomidation. Great pool. Spa. Area.. Very friendly staff. Room desirved the 4 star rating. Resturant...well . Food needs some more love. Frozen and then reheated is not really plausabe when there are some fantastic resturants in town offering dinning with fresh produce meals.

A typical resort-style hotel. The suite and hot pool is good enough. However, there was something wrong with the hot water during the night, though the staff did offer some help, it seems that they were not serious about this problem enough.

Ok for price - few things could be improved - map given on check in had incorrect locations for restaurant so we went for a wander, route from car parking to room very strange (climbing over rocks) tv tuned very strangely but good reception (no sky) spa pool temperatures vary a lot. Bed not really a king but 2 singles pushed together. Clean and tidy room - was a comfortable stay.

Very noisy room, could hear every word spoken in adjoining rooms, all three of them. Outside doors slamming all night, fridge in our that thought it was a train. Door connecting our room to the next one rattled every time the neighbours left their room. Not a very relaxing break away. Friendly staff.

Massive complex with heaps of room Hortons for singles, through to large family groups. With on premise spa, sauna and heater pool facilities it's a must for weary winter traveler.

Overall nice accomodation with nice pools. The only downside is we got second floor with no lift, and the neighbors is quite noisy.

While the location is out of own, the accommodation unit is well equipped. Laundry, dryer, oven and dishwasher too. A good place for long stay. Very clean and well maintained.

On the expensive side for someone with a small to medium sized budget. Lack of sockets means you'll have all your things all around the suite. The standard rooms are very small. The bed was hard as a rock. On arrival, the young *** did not help us at all.

My experience is rather pleasant with this place - sizable rooms, very clean and sufficient facilities. It is about 2km from the town centre, considering how low key Wanaka is, this place is considered quiet and outskirt-ish, which is just what some people are looking for. The only thing that takes the point off is the WIFI.... it gives you free wifi but it is slow that drives you nuts, and half of the time it won't work! why can you just offer a simple password like the mac donalds? whats with this username/pwd thing that sessions out all the time? who is stealing wifi here that you want to username protect it? Once you get over the wifi bit then the place is alright. it has very good pool and gym too if you are into that kind of thing.

Very nice accommodation. Large comfortable rooms. Heated pool great on a cold day. Restaurant meals expensive.

Rooms are small, breakfast buffet is ok, gym, lap pool, hot tub were all superb.

The expedia site shows a spa pool in all the room bathrooms which is not the case. The king bed slowly fell apart in the middle of the night so woke up to a big gap inbetween the beds...

Nice rooms and pool. But would appreciate if the bar make some cold coffees / smoothies and the likes during summer for the pool area as you guys don't allow outside cold drinks in pool area

Like a home from home. Full kitchen meant we could prepare some comfort food (welcome after a month away). Good check in. Would certainly recommend.

Compared to other places I have stayed. Way over priced for a tiny room, Restaurant was average, $29 for fish and chips and cant even throw in a side salad

房間裡面設備齊全，廁所有洗衣烘衣機，廚房有瓦斯爐、烤箱、洗碗機⋯等設施，陽台也很舒適，飯店有游泳池及三溫暖，很愉快的住宿經驗！

大品牌，房间干净。酒店不错。本次我们四个家庭出游，其中我们预订了一个单间房，但入住时发现此房间竟然有人在住，给人感受非常不好，酒店不应该犯如此低级的错误！

併設されているスポーツジムの設備が素晴らしく、満足でした。立地条件がとても良い。ホテルのサービスが行き届いています。

(Translated) Rooms were okay and nice size. Is a fairly large area but quite far from the center. Restaurant was good. Staff was great. (Original) Zimmer waren okay und schön groß. Ist ne recht große Anlage aber recht weit vom Zentrum entfernt. Restaurant war gut. Personal super.
