G.I was sick. I stayed with a mate who was in emergency housing who was kind enough to let me stay with him.
At the risk of losing his room because he had visitors. Me .
We did some quick calculations and a low estimate looked like this ; 52 weeks X $100 per night( a very low estimate ) = ($100x7 days=$700 )52x700=$36400 a year ..this was a very low end estimate . Most hotels/ motels are more like 140-250+ which could be 40 - 50 000/year..! So the government via WINZ pays for this ..in the persons name who has emergency housing. Sometimes the costs are made recoverable ..as in ..the client has to pay it back . At the moment a portion ( like a third ) of a client's benefit goes towards the costs of emergency housing.
The reason I'm going on about this in a review is this : in my opinion, about 50 % of emergency housing providers ( hotel/motel management ) show a complete lack of professionalism , care or responsibility in regards to the client and their needs as a guest in the establishment.
What can I say ...747 didn't let me down .I was predictably unsurprised to see everyone in the rooms being treated a bit like 2nd class guests . At least I would hope that a 'paying' guest would be treated a bit better than WINZ clients are .
Because ...otherwise I could only suggest that you never , ever pay money to stay there .
Don't hold it against the 747 . This is like a normal thing in many , but not all, of the emergency housing situations . Some of the hotels etc have kept and maintained the standards of ...well .. a hotel . You know, they look after you, cos that's what you pay for .
I thought so anyway.

A.Great little motel, clean, basic. very comfy beds and pillows, electric blankets that work. Close to shops, hospital and airport. Microwave and toaster. Free parking all I need.
M.10/10. I especially liked the fact that I could listen in on domestics. I enjoyed getting a fungus infection from the shower and I noticed little touches like a modern art piece in the bathroom that looked like mould. these really brightened my stay there. It is in a great location and I think it was the most enjoyable stay away from home that I ever had. Keep up the good work team
j.The room was very compact but if you are by yourself it has everything you need. TV, some kitchen stuff, ensuite. Bed was comfortable. Shower was hot. Couldn't get the heater to work, possibly it was not a heater rather an air conditioner. I should have asked reception. Handy to airport.

Received a lovely leather bound book from the Buddhist temple..I assume it's free? Hope so I'm taking it home.

J.My family have stayed here a few times now and each time has been a wonderful experience. The host's V & F have not owned the motel long and are very friendly and welcoming. Rooms are great and are being slowly refurbished in between vacancies. What also has made our stay great is that this motel is close to pools and other recreational facilities. Supermarket's are very close as well as many retail stores. Airport 5 to 10 minutes away. Thank you V & F for making our stay experiences here comfortable and memorable.
J.Basic, but good, clean & warm. The staff are nice. Room has a jug, toaster & fridge. Could use a bit more maintenance, but good value. Handy for where we needed to be.
L.I did not make my ferry to from Wellington to Picton because it was sold out, so I needed an impromptu place to crash in the city that was not going to break the bank. I came upon this place because of the price point and proximity to an easily accessible thoroughfare. When I first checked in the manager seemed a bit puzzled since he was sold out, but he was able to find me a tiny little unit that got the job done! It was very compact, but the space was utilized nicely and though a bit dated, it was clean and functional. It even had an in-suite bathroom, microwave, electric kettle, a little desk/table, and a surprisingly comfortable twin bed. The manager was very nice and accommodating and the parking was right in front off the street. Initially, the area seems a bit seedy, but I went walking after dark by myself and never felt unsafe.
The wifi was dependable and fast. The only issue for me was I had some very noisy neighbors, so the evening and early morning was a bit trying w/the noise levels. Other than that, for the price, it was a very comfortable stay.
It is also located w/in short walking distance of a supermarket and a little shopping area with a couple of food options.
D.You get what you pay for. It's quite old and the windows are hard to adjust. But it's comfortable enough, and handy to Kilbirnie, airport, and buses to city. Suited my purposes. I did have to tell a noisy guest in next unit to button it. Which he did.
N.Consider as budget motel. Comfortable, clean, tv working good and shower and hot water was fine. Very convenient and quiet at night.
A.While the rooms aren't the biggest, they're fantastically insulated, the beds are soft, and the Kilbirnie shopping area is literally two minutes' walk away.
M.Really nice motel, especially it's location is very handy, close to amenities, a swimming pool and sports ground.
A.Good place to stay for sport teams & group conference people who meet up in eastern suburbs. Close to the Kilbirnie Aquatics centre.
E.Basic non fussy rooms. Good for the essentials like sleeping and then going out.
M.Very good. The receptionist was very helpful and pleasant. Will stay again when next in Wellington.

가성비 ㅅㅌㅊ, 스탭 친절함, 샤워시설은 깔끔한 편이었는데 일단 시설 자체가 좀 낡고 구린 느낌이 나는건 어쩔수 없다 봄. 그리고 주변이 좀 시끄러움..
T.和機場很近，房間內有廚房設備，方便煮食，但床鋪有點骯髒，整體上逗留一夜還可以的。我住的房間在二樓，要拿著行程上走樓梯上去有點麻煩
