C.Pleasant staff, under-cover parking, close to supermarket, mall and railway station. Easily found from SH1. Comfortable beds, good-sized rooms, 24-hr access, incl late arrival by pre-arrangement. Access room has wet-area shower, but basin and kitchenette a bit high for access from a wheelchair. We routinely use the "access" room in this motel when visiting Wellington, but then neither of us is in a wheelchair. The wet-area shower is what my wife needs.
L.Handy location by the shops and cafes, restaurants, clean modern motel. Under cover parking. Have stayed here a few times, the owners are always helpful and accommodating.

c.Very nice. First time we booked, initially I thought best western name is to hide the fact that it’s not best western. But I was wrong.
J.Convenient location especially if you're heading to the South Island by Ferry. Rooms are spacious and clean.
Reasonably priced but don't expect views. One advantage is that It is just off the motorway.
The hotel is within walking distance to shops and eateries.
B.Great service, we called ahead, they took the initiative and turned heaters on for us, nice. Studio room had all the amenities you could ask for, perfect for a family, we could have cooked anything in the kitchen, very impressed

I.This is a hidden gem. It is tucked away in Burgess Road. You would not spot it from the road. Our room was clean and spacious. We were welcome very warmly. Free high speed wifi and lots of SKY channels to choose from. It is withing walking distance to quite a few dining places.
H.The room was very clean and spacious. It’s nice that they have a little kitchen area in the room. Free parking was great and has an easy access to the reception/room via elevator. It’s pretty quiet and nicely located. Definitely recommend this hotel!

T.Cannot be faulted, just fantastic in every way possible. All in all a good hotel in a good location with great transport connections. The suite we stayed at is really luxurious. Easy undercover parking. Convenient to shops and restaurants. The room we had was spotless. We were greeted with friendly warm smile everywhere we went.
T.Great value for the price of the room. Very helpful staff. The rooms are very well designed. The kitchen design is very efficient. With just a 10 minute walk, you can get to so ***y interesting places. Good food at nearby Johnsonville Club. All the people here are very nice.
S.Amazing place to stay if you are looking for a reasonable option which is close to sights in and around Wellington.
Made a last minute reservation due to a flight cancellation and ended up checking in close to 9PM on a Friday. Zoe (co-owner) was very kind to explain the options for transportation and helped book a cab (at a reasonable discount/special rate) to the airport immediately on check in as I was checking out early.
Room was very spacious and clean. Hotel may look a bit dated but a clean big suite with a kitchenette is a bonus for the price.
The front office closes by 10 PM, so please be mindful if you are travelling into town and need to check in late.
Getting here by Uber is tricky as Uber has not updated it's maps. So please make sure you enter from the Burgess side and park in the garage to take the elevator upstairs.

B.Stayed here with our two boys overnight. Does fly service topped off with the staff putting the heaters in so the room was nice and warm for us as we checked in late. Having the seperate room for our boys to sleep in was great.
H.The best motel in the Northern Suburbs of Wellington. This affordable, but high quality, motel can be found just off the main street of Johnsonville. The rooms are tidy, clean and spacious, with some lovely artwork and modern decor. Beds are comfy and the bathroom facilities are excellent. But the best thing about this accommodation is the friendly motelliers, they are one of the main reasons that my family always stays there when visiting from out of town. Highly recommend.
T.The value for money is surprisingly good. The room just perfect for me. There's plenty of options for food just down the road. Close to dining facilities. Easy access to motorway. The staff recommended a very good restaurant close by. The staff at the hotel itself were incredibly kind and accomodating.
T.There was nothing not to like. The location is great and so easy to find. The traffic connections there is just great. We got a large suite with all the amenities which was quiet. The employees are probably the best we have ever encountered. The room was very reasonably priced.
K.It's in an odd location and looks very average from the outside but my room was very well presented, beautifully clean and the reception personnel were welcoming and helpful. Even the cleaning staff were lovely. Signage in the room indicated they were environmentally conscientious as well.

Negative = Overrated as 4 star, definitely not a 4 star property, Rooms are old and tired and are in need of refurbishment, Air con missing in room and they give old style heaters which is not idle for cold nights.

W.Best Western Wellington is a small conveniently located
hotel. I was pleasantly surprised to find the room toasty
warm when I arrived and my electric blanket turned on.
The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast well
cooked.
M.Nice setup and location. However they need to keep up on maintenance a few things just not up to standard. Electric blankets missing plugs, heater not working etc.
R.The hosts were wonderful, so friendly and very helpful. We had a 2 bedroom unit which was very spacious, modern and well equipped. Shops are only a short walk away. The motorway noise was intrusive, but only with the windows open. Overall quite pleased with our stay.

A.Situated in town centre of Johnsonville, has tidy rooms and facilities, serviced daily and friendly. Convenient stores and takeaway options close by. Good options for businessman or family travelling.
R.The room was very clean and had all that we needed. We were a family of five adults and we had a suite with two bedrooms and a good sized lounge. Would definitely stay here again.

T.Thank you for the stay that I and my family had on the night of 18th July. The motel was very good and easy to get at and everything was fine apart from the shower in the bathroom.
I had recently had had a hip replacement and as there was no support in the shower compartment to hold on to nor on the wall to help get out of the bath, I was unable to use either facility. I am sure there must be other people who have had similar difficulties in getting out of either the bath or the shower.
I have been to other motels in which have had the same problems which may be only very minor to some people, but it was a disappointment to me as I shower every day.

J.I really enjoyed staying at the Best Western Hotel in Johnsonville. I wasn't sure of how long I would need the room for, but they were very understanding and offered different options. Also I didn't arrive until 8pm and there was a heater on in my room which was a really lovely gesture.
J.Good place to stay, the room suited our needs and was a reasonable price. The wifi was also easy to access and didn't have any faults. Recommended.
n.It's a small little motel tucked away in an alley in Johnsonville, feels like a boutique motel. The rooms are nice tidy and well planned out and spacious with a friendly staff.The rooms are well equipped with all the amenities to make your stay comfortable.
J.Bloody excellent. Room was great - everything from bedding linen to shower was high quality and spotless. Service, spot on and location perfect for an early ferry sailing.
F.Stayed after a rough crossing on the ferry to rest, really easy to find on the satnav, booked through Expedia and very comfortable overall. Left my phone charger there, and have just organised for it to be sent by courier by the very helpful Sam at reception. Overall very positive experience. :-)

Perfecta ubicación si la intención es coger al día siguiente el Interislander a la isla sur; si no es así, está algo alejado de Wellington. Los alrededores son una especie de polígono comercial, pero tiene dos Countdown a poca distancia que están abiertos muchas horas además de varios restaurantes. Los apartamentos del motel son muy amplios, limpios y funcionales, con cocina equipadísima y baño moderno y con todo lo necesario. Nosotros reservamos un apartamento de dos habitaciones y estuvimos muy cómodos. El personal de check-in y el de check-out, rápido y eficiente. Precio correcto.
