Smooth check-in, friendly staff! Great location, and car park is a bonus! Internet is fast, comfortable bed, full equipped kitchen, very good value! The only inconvenience I find is the lift does not operate in the more as I checked out at 7.15am. Had to use stairs. Definitely recommend this place.

Absolutely lovely staff great help , Nice comfortable beds spacious rooms , they go out of there way to help you . Highly recommend this book if going to Wallington price wont dissipoint

Great welcome, superbly friendly and accommodating staff, felt more like a homestay than a hotel. Very close walking distance from the top of Cuba street venues (El matador, Fidel, Ekim Burger, Kafe Eis). Super comfy bed and very well equipped kitchen. Super fast internet, went through zoom meetings like a breeze. Parking is free onsite which is rare in downtown Wellington (Make sure to call the hotel to book your parking space). Looking forward to stay at the Capital View Motor Inn again.

Staff were very helpful accommodating us with boat parking. Room 32 was dated but spotlessly clean. Bathroom also clean. Needs an update (that looks like is happening in other rooms.

The rooms are spacious, clean, tidy, well laid out and the Motor Inn is in a great location. The owner is friendly and extremely helpful with whatever you need to enhance your stay experience. We enjoyed our 6 night stay and would recommend the location and facilities to anyone staying in Wellington. A+++++

Good value. Close to city. Easy walk to Cuba Street restaurants. Newly decorated room. Very clean and tidy. Lovely fluffy towels. Obviously loved by owner/manager. Will definitely stay again.

All in here is correct but not special. You can see that it's an old building. My bathroom is perfectly clean and very new. The kitchen is enough for a couple of days or easy breakfast but no more. Although it's clean, it's not new but not too old. Views here are really good. I'm on first floor and I can see a really good view if Wellington. Top floor must be amazing. It has a little parking back. It's something really interesting when you're on big city. Cuba Street is just 5 minutes walking and the water front no more than 10-15 minutes. City centre with heaps of shops, restaurants and all you need is there to.

Great rooms and nice customer service.

The great thing about this place is its location. Close to Cuba St and its delights. Unfortunately, it was Easter weekend so no plumbers available to fix the leaky toilet until the Tuesday. Thankfully we had the use of another vacant unit's loo in the meantime, but not ideal and it was inconvenient. Management did their best under the circumstances but would have appreciated a gesture of a reduction in price or something for the inconvenience. Spare loo had a loose toilet seat! A bit of maintenance about the place would be recommended. Good wifi available. Nice and clean. Nice to have soap goodies. Great views of the city.

Fairly comfortable, neat and tidy. Beds are very uncomfortable and well worn. Close to the city. Just make sure you get a room with a decent view otherwise you'll be disappointed. Be sure not to leave anything next to the rubbish bin - it will be removed by the cleaner. I lost half a bottle of wine that I wasn't disposing of.

Arrived here after calling a few places in Wellington and finding only Mark (the manager) to be gracious about us coming with our camper van. The other hotels/motels we called balked about having parking with a 2.7 meter van which is quite small as far as camper vans go. Once we arrived, we found Mark to be extremely hospital which was so appreciated. The room number 4 had amazing afternoon sun and we liked it so much, we spent 2 nights. Highly recommend.

Very clean room with effective heater and electric blankets. Room was serviced daily with attention to detail. Friendly and informative hosts. Our only issues were the very firm bed and the fact that we could hear the guests above us all the time. It would appear they had concrete shoes and liked scraping the chairs across the floor.

Overall clean and tidy and room was refurbished and modern. Windows were drafty and there was a reasonable amount of noise. The lift was being fitted though which contributed to some of the noise. A bonus with this accommodation is its offer of free parking and location.

(Translated) Great motel, very close to the center. Friendly receptionist! In the spacious apartment on the 3rd floor (with elevator) we had great views of the city and port. It was clean, the bed was comfortable and everything was available in the kitchen (including table and chairs) and bathroom. There are also private parking spaces. Unfortunately the fridge was very loud, which was very annoying at night. (Original) Tolles Motel, sehr zentrumsnah. Freundlicher Rezeptionist! Im großzügigen Appartment im 3. Stock (mit Aufzug) hatten wir tolle Ausblicke auf Stadt und Hafen. Es war sauber, das Bett bequem und alles vorhanden in Küche (incl. Tisch und Stühle) und Bad. Eigene Parkplätze gibts auch. Leider war der Kühlschrank sehr laut, was nachts sehr störend war.
