Stayed here for a couple of nights with my grand-daughter, the staff were very friendly and welcoming and greeted us everyday. We were pleased with the room and my grand daughter loved the spa bath. We had all the necessities you need and a very enjoyable stay, with internal access to the Staten Eatery restaurant next door who were also very lovely and great food! I would stay here again.
S.
The staff were pleasant and accommodating. The motel itself is a bit old n outdated for the price you pay but has all your basic needs. great bed, .had a great sleep
R.
Lovely ladies at reception, so handy to everything Welly has to offer. Lovely to see some friends, sprained my ankle but well looked after by best friend. Although spent little time in room was clean and tidy. Thank you Welly Mecure AT, Loved it!!!
A.
Me and my partner stayed here for 2 nights, we booked it through booking.com for just under 200 which was absolutely great! The room was a wee bit small and the lighting was a wee bit dark but was a great stay. We had a room with a queen bed, toiletries/hot drinks, had a TV, internet, and own bathroom. Parking which is below the building is a wee bit of squeeze so a bigger car maybe a little hard to get down there. Great customer service from the girl at the front also. 😊
J.
Very expensive but it's wellington so what can you do? I was very happy with my room the bed was quite firm but other than that it was fairly good. I paid for one of the rooms on a high level and I had a really nice view of the city and could even see a little bit of the ocean. Didn't hear any of my neighbours which was good .
A.
Clean. Big king bed with single one too. Shower was quite small in a big bathroom. Shame showers were not bigger. But for 2 nights was pleasant stay. Great staff.
A.
Reasonably priced, clean and tidy room and friendly service, I really enjoyed my stay and will be back again 😊.
G.
Central location close to great cafes and restaurants. Clean, comfortable and quiet room (on the fourth floor for this visit). Helpful, friendly staff. Very reasonable room rates. Would happily stay here again.
C.
Our experience at the Mercure Hotel Abel Tasman was incredibly enjoyable and we really loved our stay here. loved how close it is to everything and the room and amenities were just perfect for such an affordable accommodation. staff were very friendly and helpful which made our stay here a lot easier. Definitely would stay here again, cant wait to come back!
P.S the beds were INCREDIBLY COMFORTABLE!!!!
P.
Was cosy and I got upgraded to room with Aircon.. restaurant on GL Was amazing. Had breakfast there both days and really enjoyed the food. Was cheap too.
K.
A clean and functional room in a fantastic, mid city location. A short walk to everywhere
h.
Got a price deal and stay here for a night. Room is super clean, great location and customer service are amazing!!
C.
Hi there,
I just recently checked into Mercure Abel Tasman and had the most amazing check in with Isobel, who was very friendly and professional young lady and just wanted to say hats off to the staff!
S.
Great place rooms and service the private parking is a bit tight but all in had great stay. Ty Mercure

The staff were friendly and the location was good, but the hotel itself is pretty run down and outdated. There's zero sound proofing to the point where we could hear when the person next to us used the toilet and showered. There were no lights in the ceiling, just a selection of random wall lights so the room was always rather dim. The water pressure was essentially non-existent. I probably wouldn't choose to stay again unless the room was less than $100 a night and there was nothing else. We enjoyed the bar/restaurant downstairs.
Q.
Very helpful staff and friendly. Nice and clean for room. Good value.
D.
Awesome after a long drive room so refreshing pity no sky but Freeview is ok
A.
Staff was very helpful and carpark was easy to get in and out of. Just ask for top floor if you need a good sleep. Thought the room above us was the gym, with all the thumping.
S.
POSITIVE
Nice room - Spacious
Wide hallways …
S.
The hotel staff were lovely to deal with and the rooms were well appointed. The bed was fantastic. Best nights sleep I've had for a long time. Ear plugs were provided in the bedside table as being an inner city hotel it can be noisy. The breakfast was amazing and the restaurant a lovely place to dine and watch the world pass by. Unfortunately the window in my room was dirty and had mould growing on it. The building is showing it's age despite the upmarket decor. These were the only negatives I had but they did not detract from a wonderful stay.
J.
We checked in at 2.45am and were allowed a late checkout of 11am. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we required for the night. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here.
L.
Positive Points: Great city centre location. Breakfast buffet is excellent and great value for money. The super king beds are extremely comfortable.
Negative Points: Very noisy overnight, bedrooms doors banging and street noise.
Rooms and communal areas are dated and grubby. Carpets and upholstery in rooms all need a deep clean. No off street parking.
Staff friendly and helpful but hotel needs a big injection of cash to update and feel fresh again.
F.
Overall, the service was amazing!
Bed comfy and room a good size.
The hotel has it's own unique feel which I loved
We flew in from AKL for an event and brought 30+ guests. With our event, we had a lot to prep for and Mercure made our stay stressfree, comfortable and was easy to deal with, especially when we had to make a few changes here and there.
So thank you to Gina and the team for making our stay a great experience.
Thank you
Fai
R.
Rooms were good, staff friendly but went to breakfast on sat and not impressed not enough tables, food was as I expected for a hotel like that. A bit disappointed as we have stayed at mercure Auckland heaps of times because they were great
G.
A small friendly clean hotel with really genuine and helpful staff. The food was simple, tasty and real. I found the whole experience really heart warming. Definitely would stay there again. I cant compliment them enough.
J.
Very friendly staff , great location , good restaurant for breakfast but yes as other reviews - rooms not as sound proof as newer hotels - bring a set of ear plugs - and you will enjoy this super easy inner city location
R.
No problem with Hotel. Its the scarey car park under neath the Hotel. Real weird.
r.
Room was okay people at reception very good ☺️ the down side was the noise from other guests which went on very late into the night, the carpark was difficult to maneuver as was so tight a space, other than these the room was clean and tidy
T.
Hotel was generally OK, staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was a bit of a mess especially the shower area. There was a lot of noise from the bars downstairs but that's the trade off for staying in the centre of a vibrant city, ear plugs were also provided in the room 👍 so that was a plus.
D.
Great place to stay. Room nice and clean. car park is in the basement. Small car recommended. Its really tight.
Lovely staff. Nice breakfast.
J.
Bring ear plugs if you want a good night's sleep. The windows aren't double glazed so the street noise is loud. Even worse, my room had a door through to an adjoining room. The sound proofing was so poor I could have joined in with my neighbour's phone conversation and was woken up by her radio alarm clock. There was also a two inch gap under the front door. So sound flowed from everywhere.
Otherwise, the room was fine, the bed comfortable and the shower powerful enough. The bathroom was a bit dated, but ok. Curtains were thin and the lifts a bit clunky and slow.
J.
Reception , Room service and Waitress staff very clued up and friendly helpful Receptionists.
Shower in 204 leaked a bit, door doesn't seal closed.😒. Very noisy, paper thin walls.
T.
Well located and comfortable hotel, close to key amenities. We walked everywhere. Car park is small and tricky to navigate when busy. Staff are very friendly and they have a good breakfast selection. It's a good base from which to explore Wellington.
A.
Had a fantastic stay . Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were just what we wanted and needed. So convenient to Town and Te Papa .
H.
The hotel, under different managements, has been there for ever and, although it’s been updated a bit, still has some tired spots. When we arrived we were told our room was ready but when we opened the door it wasn’t. No big deal, we went for a walk, but the management was embarrassed and brought us a nice tray of chocolates as compensation and that was much appreciated. Hotel was good for the price, in the middle of the city and with car parking available (for a fee). Staff were friendly and breakfast buffet was good.
Z.
Hotel staff were friendly however check in was at 2pm and even after taking a walk and coming back over an hour later the room wasn't ready. We had 2 beds 1 queen that was comfortable dispite it having a few legs replaced with wood blocks. The single bed in the room sunk down and you could feel all the springs not good at all. Walls are paper thin and we had very loud active neigbors. The location was handy and well staff were great between the bed issue and paper thin walls that leave zero privacy I can't imagine we will book here next time.
C.
Just a shout out to Jenifer at the restaurant who looked after me last month. She is a delightful hostess and was very helpful with my meal selections which was all delicious.
She is an asset for this restaurant and has the X factor in service.
S.
It was a decent room but the windows were not double glazed, therefore allowing a fair bit of outside city noise to transfer in. The staff were attentive & friendly staff so no complaints there. Doors were also not very soundproof so we heard a lot of chatter from guests in the hallways.
There is a resteraunt on the ground floor, which we used for breakfast and had no complaints about.
M.
The location of the hotel is perfect. Easy to travel around Wellington CBD on foot. Friendly staff. Clean sheets and towels were provided.
· The room decor was quite outdated and had a musty smell. Bathroom contained mould and there was a cracked wall next to the shower. Parking cost $28 per night despite spending so much on the room. We could hear the noise in the nest door room from the walls being super thin
B.
Stayed here for four nights and would definitively come back. Very handy location. Friendly staff and a generous 11am check out and happy hour at bar $6 a beer or wine. Some road noise but this is the city and it was fine.
A.
Great Hotel, good service, friendly staff.... A bit older rooms but comfortable
G.
Very accommodating when I needed to add a night to our stay at short notice this week. Have stayed here several times over the years and always clean rooms and helpful staff. Great location to walk everywhere we need to in Wellington.
M.
Tidy. Lovely staff. Fabulous meals. Good parking ... Shame that that one night some guests were loud, drunk, rude and abusive. I would definitely stay againj
T.
The hotel is an older hotel with a very nice redesign, fresh paint and well appointed rooms. Bed was very comfortable and decor nice. Was a bit noisy from street but affordable and clean. Would definitely recommend as it is in a nice location close to a lot of hot spots.
P.
It's not bad but it's quite noisy and the matress is quite uncomfortable. They do provide you with earplugs in the room so I guess I wasn't the only one to notice. You can hear the noise from the inside and outside. They have a car park and it's not too intuitive how to enter and leave. Especially the leaving part. They have a sign next to the door on the inside that says something about a pulley and a chain to open it manually. Seeing that it's impossible, we looked around and found a button meters away, on the corner before turning to the exit. It would be great if the staff there would tell you that when they charge you for the parking when you do the check out.
The location is good
M.
Great rooms, well appointed and clean, in a convenient location. The atmosphere was generally welcoming. Reception were helpful. Parking is bit tight but there is parking so a plus!
V.
The room was nice and warm, big bed.
Cracks above the shower, lots of road noise, bad lighting in the room.
K.
Customer service was very good.
We bought 2 nights from Groupon for the queen superior room.
The room was descent.
Bed was a lil too firm for my liking.
Comfortable stay there.
Bathroom wasn't anything special but it was clean which I appreciate.
Super close to all the great Lil Cafe's in cbd.
R.
The Rooms are spacious and have also been very tastefully renovated. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay for 3 nights. The water pressure in the shower was great and the shower head was at a perfect height. Thank you to the professional check-in staff who were so friendly and helpful. My husband and I enjoyed the lounge / bar area for a time to sit and relax and unwind after a long day of walking the city.
What's awesome about this Hotel is the close proximity to everything. We did not need a car at all - Te Papa, the Waterfront and the city centre, and the BeeHive, all within walking distance! We will be back!
L.
Decident hotel. Good price. Room was nice and beds weren't bad. The bathroom could use some attention though, the shower drain was not actually attached. There is a fun bar across the street cause I could hear everyone enjoying themselves. Haha
B.
Needed a place to stay short notice and this was vacant and available. Clean rooms, good service, nothing to complain about. Location was also extremely convenient.
S.
Very clean, modern and elegant shared spaces. Price was exceptional for the central location.. only thing I would say is that having a larger vehicle makes parking a bit of a task. But thumbs up from me.
C.
We always stay with Mercure and know we're always gonna have a high quality stay.. however not this time. Upon arrival it was an extra $26 a night parking. the building is very out dated.. im not even sure the elevators are safe to be using, and the rooms itself were very old. We could hear the neighbors talking like the walls were paper thin and doors slamming all night. to top it all off we were woken up at 6am with construction in the building next door (I guess this cant be helped). Overall I would rather spend my money elsewhere
R.
We booked for 2 nights and had a great stay. Our room was clean and spacious plus the hotel is in a good location.
A special thanks goes to Kate at the reception who was really friendly and helped us with a request we had.
W.
Had a meeting here, food was average and staff weren't great at refreshing the room on our breaks (having to prompt them a couple of times for water refills etc). Overall it was average. Didn't stay in the rooms so can't comment on the accommodation side of things.
R.
Yip no worries checked in early bed was ok shower hot lift reliable location convenient yeah maybe the air con bit noisey but I'm happy ..........
H.
Decent inner city hotel. Friendly staff at front desk. Decor was rather tasteless but the room had everything we needed, comfy beds and a good shower. On site parking a bonus but very tight turns down there
A.
Beware: they tell you, that they charge credit cards a 2 percent surcharge. That is ok and there is a big sign on the desk. However: I paid with a Master Card Debit card and still got charged the 2 percent. They told me: it doesn’t matter. I researched this a bit and Master Card in New Zealand has significantly lower fees with the debit scheme than with the credit scheme. So this Mercure makes a nice profit on debit cards while charging the fees for credit cards. It also took me a while to explain to them that there is a difference between payment schemes. Shouldn’t someone who sells things be trained in topics like money? Other than that: The Mercure is nice. It’s close to the airport bus. Everything else is in walkable distance. You have a ridiculous amount of buses as an option. It’s also an affordable hotel. Wifi is a bit unreliable. Especially on multiple connections like browsing. Bandwidth is high though. Almost no streaming issues. Streaming doesn’t make to many server calls.
BTW if you check in online on your day of arrival you will save the surcharge. Doesn’t make sense, but that’s the case here.
L.
Clean, great location, fantastic staff. Needs refurbishing , they are fixing lifts but walking up six flights not an option. Staff were great and gave us free drinks waiting for the lift.
P.
Perfectly adequate rooms if you aren't the top dollar type. Good food, and nice staff.
C.
Great place to stay . Good position to visit the shops At Cuba Street Mall. A good stroll down to Lambton Quay. Great shopping. We stayed in an older room. Some noise from the street. But good and tidy. The Restaurant has really nice food. Awesome ladies that do your room.
All in all a Great team.
q.
The room we rented was nice and tidy. However, we can hear the room next door and also the people going in and out of the lift.
The location is great for travellers who want to explore the city center. The reception people are pleasant and helpful.
E.
Basic, simple room yet has all that you need. Situated in a smart part of Wellington, taxis are accessible and the staff accommodating.
C.
Great place to stay. Room was quiet and a good size. Attended a conference on site. Meeting room was good. Not too small. Coffee and nibbles provided. Bar is comfortable and the food is delicious.
J.
A bit old and dinged up, comfy and staff excellent at Reception and Room Service, Breakfast was awesome, enough to feed me all day.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
J.
A great crash pad if you have had too much to eat and drink. A great location from which to wander; one of those walks .. aimless.
T.
I expected a little more from this hotel. Having stayed at another place just further up the road for a similar price this just didn't come up to standard. Sky movies wasn't working at the time, apparently hadn't been dealt to in a week, wasn't even notified till we noticed it. The rooms are nice and bathroom modern but was so noisy I could hear the someone next door having a shower. I don't think I'll be staying again.
V.
It's an OK place for a short stay, especially the location.. understand that it's a quite old building so it's a bit damp and has thin walls so a bit noisy.. but the price is reasonable...
M.
Great location! Everywhere we wanted to go to was within walking distance. Room was nice and clean, and relatively modern. Would recommend 😁
A.
As the hotel is older you can hear every noise outside. They do provide earplugs in the drawer if you block out the noise. Best part was the bar/restaurant next door!
O.
Beautiful rooms and restaurant all in one place and very pleasant staff
T.
Clean, neat and comfortable room. They offer 24 hour check in. Great location in the CBD. I would be back.
S.
Absolutely loved this hotel was clean rooms were of perfect size, really enjoyed my stay! Food was prefect couldn't complain, staff was very helpful and nice! The Asian lady in the restaurant was awesome loved her sence of humour will definitely come back to stay
T.
As a conference facility it's okay. Simple and functional, though sound isolation between the conference rooms could have been better. It's conveniently located with a wide choice of catering establishments very close by.
D.
Conference rooms were of a high standard. Projector screen could have been a bit bigger was the only improvement that I saw. Lunch and morning tea was very nice, good food and good selection of drinks.
S.
Very good and convinient hotel in downtown Wellington. Big rooms and nice bed. Refridgerator! Free parking on the street at the hotel on Sundays. Parking at hotel rather pricey.
Good value for money!
A.
The staff were really friendly, the location is awesome, and it is obvious that they are working really hard to rectify things that people have previously given them bad reviews for. They even have complementary ear plugs in the bedside table to deal with their non sound proofed doors.
T.
Nice hotel in good location. Clean. Staff are friendly. A little bit noisy, thin walls?
b.
The building is actually quite old, dressed up to look sleeker than it actually is. Single glazed windows and thin curtains do little to block out street noise nor daylight.
The location is not too bad, with both the main area of the CBD, the restaurant zone of Dixon/Taranaki/Cuba Streets and the waterfront all an easy walk.
Car parking is tight (and at $26/night, not cheap). Staff were helpful.
A.
Very tidy and quiet hotel with great location. The rooms had all the basics you need. Staff were helpful when we had any queries.
The buffet breakfast is very limited.
G.
I was part of the England Indoor cricket team and we were treated exceptionally well by the staff. Thank you so much for taking great care of us all! Also, the hotel is based in the centre of Wellington so it isn't far to get to shops and restaurants. A lovely city, I'll be back soon!
N.
What a fantastic location!! Right in the heart of Wellington, just a 10 minute walk to the cable car and/or water. Elevator is really slow but rooms were clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend!
C.
We booked this hotel as it looked great and for the price it was amazing.
We were travelling on our honeymoon and we were greeted by Eugenie who was extrenely helpful and friendly. She discussed with us the best places fo go and where to eat and gave us complimentary wifi as a present with the hotel which no other hotel from Auckland to Wellington has done for us.
There was no bath in our room and there was no air conditioning which was really unbearable during the day. They did supply us with fans but it wasn't ideal. The parking is very small and cramped at $25 per day.
Eugenie came to surprise us with a plate of fruit as an additional gift which was most welcomed.
The hotel is in a great location and room service was amazing to have.
In summary the hotel in my opinion was ok but it was made enjoyable by Eugenie and I would definitely recommend this hotel thanks to her
G.
Spacious rooms clean and tidy good location only thing was the bed not comfortable at all lumpy mattress and looked like old bed
S.
Staff absolutely brilliant. Would have got 5stars if lifts were working properly. One under repair, the remaining lift kept stopping due to overheating. Central location.
D.
Excellent value for money. Walking distance from everything you need. Right next door to a food court. Only negative was no air conditioning in the room and being in town it made for a noisy night with the window open
C.
Stayed here for a night for my sisters 21st in wellington. Would recommend as is very close to the city (10 min walk to Courtney place). Only thing i would mention though is that you have to drive up Dixon Street to get to the carpark instead of down willis street.
I wish that was made clear instead of us having to drive the long way around to get to the car park
L.
If u know theres construction happening on a particular side of the hotel...then u should try to accommodate ppl to the inner or opposite side of ur hotel.
Would be good to have early check in options.
Thank u to Michael and staff for being very helpful and obliging to a diva😁
G.
Nice hotel. Good reasonably priced tasty food in the restaurant although menu a bit limited. Room had everything I needed and looked just like the photo in their advertising.
A.
Fantastic location and tidy rooms. The people at reception were friendly. I was puzzled that doors were locked in one of the two stairwells.
M.
Food here was good. Hotel a little run down in the rooms. Service was efficient and good. Thanks
G.
Great location. Room and facilities clean and welcoming. Lovely breakfasts. Recommend and will definitely return. Thanks
C.
Very convenient location, right in the middle of town, all events and venues within walking distance. The hotel itself is quite dated but is also very reasonably priced.
C.
Great amenities, and very reasonably priced. The staff were fantastic, even when I arrived at 2am due to a delayed flight. A 5 minute walk takes you to the heart of the city, and all the shops, bars and cafes thats Wellington has to offer.
A.
the price and the location are great, clean and all amenitiesin the room, including
A few things broken eg lights no electric blanket or SKY but the price is worth it.
S.
Good hotel, a little noisy during the week due construction work close by. Parking is extra, if they have room, so book befo8
T.
Great service and location. Room was underwhelming and bed uncomfirtable. Bathroom was cramped. Huge shower though.
W.
Bit worn out building with one of two lifts not working. However rooms have been redecorated and quite comfortable.
B.
Nice and tidy accommodation, bit noisy /cold being single glazed windows. Elevator needs some work sounds like it is going to break on each use.
S.
Wonderful service. Clean and tidy. Central to the CBD. I've stayed more than once and will continue to stay here
L.
Hotel is in CBD, very close to all places, we can see many Indian restaurants expensive! But not value for money! Quantity is too less! Hotel staffs r good n cooperative!
J.
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Had a very comfortable and peaceful sleep didn't experience any noise. Friendly staff, I would definitely stay again!!! :)
M.
The room had an amazing set up but the carpark was difficult to access and the room was very noisy. This should be disclosed BEFORE booking in, not when you arrive to find ear plugs
K.
Basically what you paid is what you get. Location wise is excellent but the sound proof system need to be improve, can hear every single bang from outside, light sleeper will be annoyed
a.
I thought this would be a really nice hotel as the name suggests, but I stayed in a motel up the road which was cheaper, bigger, and a lot quieter! Is like a standard hotel room in UK.
J.
Nice, clean room. Car park was a bit tight, but had giggle with the guy on reception when it came to exit the carpark as I couldn't locate the button to press.
L.
This is the Bay number on-street parking. Got there 11pm. It is free from 6pm-8am. Use APP paid till 10am only $5.50 on weekends.
A.
Nice old place that had been renovated and has good service, but there is no airconditioning. The sun had warmed the room all afternoon so I couldn't sleep as it was too hot.
M.
Nice Room and bed was great Breakfast was good value for $10 Will stay there again
J.
Great location and friendly staff. Nice spacious room and clean. Was a little noisy though, but nothing to bad.
S.
Room is adequate and conformable. The amenities are getting old but everything is clean.food is good. Conference venue is small but good
J.
Relaxing stay frendly staff
T.
Comfy hotel, friendly staff (Lilly), has its own charme. It's very central, 10 mins to te papa, 5 to the cable car, 2 to the next bus stop. Bus drives to the airport every 10 mins during daytime and costs 9nz$ , takes about 15-20 minutes.
D.
Basic rooms but location is brilliant, no bar or restaurant, but sister hotel is 5 minutes walk away and has a bar and restaurant
M.
Pity about the Breakfast in the Conference room . Not enough variety , ran out often
O.
Great staff, beer, room and evening menu food. Possibly the worlds tightest carpark and the cooked breakfast buffet was a little ropey but the prime location and previously mentioned plus points made up for that
M.
Good location - walking distance to the harbour, dining and shopping area. But the room was dated and poorly decorated.
D.
Clean and cosy. A bit noisy but they do supply earplugs. All staff were lovely and friendly
A.
It is a nice place and has 2 lovely beds one single one double and a bit of a view of a church and big building and it is 150 m away from Cuba street and the food at burrito brothers is really good and the hotel is clean and the reception lady was nice and showed us places were we should visit like te papa museum souvenir shops and more.yeeeeeeeet And a tv coffee +fan and free soap, body lotion and shampoo over all great place
R.
Clean, central and the team here is genuinely friendly. Rooms are spacey, well-decorated and are serviced daily. Highly recommended.
C.
Good location, near Cuba street and Lambton Quay.
Breakfast is good, with wide range of food.
Bed is comfortable, toilet is clear too.
C.
A little dirty in foyer. Room was clean and basic but great for star rating
J.
Great staff, good service, breakfast was good. Rooms ok a bit tired
A.
Good wifi. Nice room. Came as advertised. The parking is a little difficult but nothing crazy once you figure it out
N.
Neat and clean. But the rooms dose not have air conditioner which makes difficult sometime,
R.
Yet another great hotel in the heart of Wellington. Close to everything like the cable car, the harbour, Victoria peak and the city centre.
D.
Gr8 location. Bed not very comfortable but I guess that is vert much a personal thing so you decide
C.
Nice suite. Situated in the city, so grab those walking shoes and explore!
S.
Surprisingly comfortable room and great location. Generally price is high but you won't have any reason to complain.
O.
Love Accor hotels. As a Silver member on Accor Le Club program I got a little bottle of wine at check-in ;) It was a pity there was no gym but they have an agreement with the most famous one in the worls: Leslie Mills!
S.
The room good but it was very noisy at night time Bristfast could be more to offer
D.
Very central no issue with the room restaurant was lovely but the noise was very loud people talking outside my room road noise was horrendous. Bugger all sleep
J.
The room I had was so noisy. Some additional glazing would help so that you don't get woken at 04:30 by bins being employed outside.
T.
Great location. Helpful friendly staff.Room clean and tidy.Restaurant meal was delicious.Definitely would stay again.
K.
Great stay, big room and friendly staff.
m.
Great room and handy location. .staff were excellent. .great stay.
G.
Rooms are clean and staff are friendly, but the bed was quite soft and the area was very noisy. Didn't sleep very well.
N.
This is a nice hotel but not one of the greatest, their rooms are small and the bathroom is tiny but the service is great.
S.
Definitely a 3 star hotel, needs lots of love. Good location for walking around Wellington
G.
Enjoyed my stay, was very pleasant and reasonably priced
E.
Nice room and great location. Breakfast was pretty good, plenty of different options.
T.
Great location, well set up room with mini kitchenette, exceptionally comfortable bed.
A.
Great location, need a paint but is priced well enough for central location
A.
Love it, great location and Freindly staff. Clean room.
D.
Outdated and a little tired inside. However well priced and friendly helpful staff. Fantastic location
C.
Close to WOW which we went to ,great beds and breakfast in hotel dining room.Good staff.
S.
Nice clean rooms, with TV, armchairs, desk+chair, fridge, iron&board. Comfortable bed.
M.
Friendly service. Nice clean spacious room. Underground parking was tight.
J.
Nice large room, however it had no AC. It was not featured, but unfortunately I have come to expect this...pay attention to the detail.
S.
Cute little old refurbished hotel. Lots of character. Clean & in a great location.
J.
It was ok, pretty dated and the lift was terrifying. But a great location.
D.
Hotel, breakfast full buffet cooked, room clean and great beds. Staff lovely and helpful
S.
great location, there is no bath in the bathroom.
R.
The hotel and staff were fine, just don't take a car the parking is terrible.
J.
Great central location. Good value for money.
M.
I'm having a very pleasant stay at the hotel shower could be a tad more powerful but in general a very pleasant and nice stay.
A.
Cousin's wedding reception was held here. Great location, food, friendly staff, all in all a lovely experience.
P.
Older, slightly run down hotel. They've done some things to make the decor a bit more appealing, but it's only half the effort they need to put in.
T.
Alright rooms. There wasn't any aircon in ours. Pretty central location with decent breakfast
T.
Happy to return soon!!!
J.
Great location for many happening things in Wellington. Homely feel to the place. Food OK but lots of options nearby

A weekend conference during testing times with Omicrom. The hotel and staff went above and beyond to make our visit safe and every attention to detail was covered. The staff were friendly, the food was delicious and the environment clean and welcoming. The conference facilities were fabulous with all technology requirements offered in order for the conference to run smoothly with both in house and online attendees.

(Translated) The hotel is clean, comfortable and central broadly. very comfortable bed, bathrooms clean and quiet. In the corridors of the rooms it has cigarette smell and sometimes we felt smell of perspiration. The reception is very friendly and extremely hot continental breakfast or full. The elevators require significant modernization.

(Translated) Friendly welcome
But concerning the room, you can hear everything that is said in the room next door!
And the bedroom door is not isolated from the hallway, so the hallway light goes through the frame and illuminates the bedroom!
Not great if you want to rest!

Accueil sympathique
