Have stayed several times, some of the rooms are a little cramped so always go for the larger ones. But the rooms are well decorated, very clean and tidy. The staff are so friendly and helpful. One of the best hotels we have used in Wellington.

Truly wonderful stay. I had just a small, studio booked for me; but it was so damn cosy!
The vibe is incredibly eccentric, the beds are comfortable, the staff are lovely :) will be back!

A refreshing change from most hotels with a boutique feel about it despite its size. The interior design in the lobby, bar, nooks and restaurant are stunning and very lux. Locality on Cuba St is great with plenty of bars and restaurants close by. I was surprised how quiet our room was given it faced on to Cuba St and it was a Saturday night. We never heard any noise from adjacent rooms to ours, either. Very rare that I don’t use ear plugs in a hotel! The staff member who greeted us at reception was lovely, efficient and friendly. There were complimentary bar drink vouchers and gorgeous truffles waiting in our room upon arrival. Super comfy bed and pillows. Our room and bathroom were clean and smoke free. It was quite warm in the room but the ceiling fan was a welcome alternative to an air conditioning unit. Breakfast dining in the restaurant was peaceful. Small but thought out healthy menu, fantastic coffee and complimentary juice shots in a gorgeous setting. We had a Zest Queen on 3rd floor. It was on the small side. Would have benefited from a couple of chairs (only place to sit is the bed), some softer lighting such as lamps or a dimmer switch for lights and the small fridge kept tipping forward when we opened the door (needs to be secured somehow) A hotel where the value is in spending time in the service areas but not so much in the room. I would definitely stay there again. Very relaxing.

Absolutely loved my stay here! The bed and pillows were the best I have ever slept on! I pulled the sheets back to see what bed it was because I need one! Beautiful hotel. Will absolutely stay here again

Glad we chose Naumi Studio Hotel in Wellington for our stay. The location made it perfect for us to travel around without having to take our cars out. The rooms as well were very clean. Lastly, big shout out to the staff and managers in-charge for being super friendly and providing the best customer service :)

One entrance is just at the end of Cuba Street, looks clean and renovated, rooms are quite small but comfortable, same as the bed, everything really tidy and in place, looks luxurious but a bit tacky, even the elevator has glitter on! It has a restaurant and bar so everything is cover.
T.
Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent room and the dining room is fantastic! The food is top class and the staff are very attentive.
K.
Loved our stay at Naumi. Everything about it felt different, special and fun. The staff were wonderfully welcoming and kind, going above and beyond expectations. Extremely comfortable bed in a beautifully presented room. Fabulous decor everywhere and really cool vibe in the bar and many seating areas. We had a great time and would definitely want to stay again.

Beautiful Hotel , set in the heart of Wellington. Walk out front doors onto Cuba st. If not staying, you should check out reception and bar , as you will not have seen anything like it.

Loved our 2-night stay at Naumi Wellington! The location on Cuba St is ideal for a weekend getaway, with amazing access to shopping, cafes and nightlife. Interior design scores an A+ for eye-candy, & the staff was extremely accommodating and lovely to chat with. Really looking forward to our next stay.

Cool decor, great service from reception and bar staff. Rooms don't have aircon and were a little stuffy though lower cost reflects this Great location.
T.
Beautifully decorated, friendly and helpful service, and extremely comfortable bed! Well positioned on Cuba Street, with heaps of excellent restaurants, cafes, and shops within a quick walk. The one downside is that the room was quite small, but the positives more than made up for the small room. I highly recommend it, and will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful ambience, central location and helpful staff. Relaxing bar, gorgeous and comfortable furnishings. Not much more to say except this place is on our list to return. Five stars as I have a thing about larger towels and needing an option of a firm pillow. Other than that, lovely.

We spent 5 days here for our honeymoon and were in awe.
We were greeted with such a friendly welcome and the Motel is absolutely stunning. They have done a great job with such vibrant colors and designs.
All of the staff were amazing from the reception to the house keepers, who couldn't have gone out of their way any more than what they did to make our stay more pleasant.
The bartenders were great (a lady and gentleman), and really do know how to look after patrons.
We will definitely be going back here the next time we go to Wellington.
Thank you to everyone at Naumi in Wellington.

Brilliant. Lovely atmosphere, great decor, wonderful staff and the rooms were clean and very comfortable

Stylish gem of a hotel. Super service and amazing staff. A must! Café, bar and restaurant all merit a visit. 🌟
S.
Funky, newly renovated hotel in what appears to be an older building. Tucked away on Cuba street, it’s a very pleasant surprise to stumble the hotel’s well appointed bar/lobby and foyer area.
My room was a bit warm (no AC) due to the rare burst of warm weather in WLG during my stay. The bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean, and had everything I needed for a short stay.
Reception are friendly and efficient.

Christian on reception is outstanding. Mvp for sure! All the staff in general were pretty awesome. Love, love, loved all the lounging spaces, they more than made up for the smaller rooms. The lobby and lounge spaces have such a cool and interesting vibe.
C.
Great service. The standard room was smaller than expected but clean and comfortable. The bar could be so much more cosier, it needs more atmosphere. Overall a good hotel if visiting the city. A great location.
b.
Lovely staff, beautiful/bar restaurant area, very clean room. They even held our luggage for us after checkout until we were going to the airport that evening. Really enjoyed our stay, will definitely be back 😊
G.
Such an amazing vibe in this hotel. A lot of brave choices made when doing the interior decorating, and it paid off. I got vibes of Alice in Wonderland one moment and The Shining the next. Really an experience. Staff were wonderful, pricing affordable, location SUPERB. The rooms weren't all that spacious but the space there was they made good use of. Coffee machines in every room as well as smart TV. Free wifi... of course. Highly recommend 👌

Overall, a good experience. Pros: quirky, colourful and arty; some of the most friendly, helpful staff I’ve encountered in a Wellington hotel; big bathrooms; really comfy beds and good quality fittings; good breakfasts; quiet rooms and corridors (whilst we were there there was a large wedding party staying on our floor - we didn’t notice); fans rather than aircon in rooms mean you can control the temperature without being at minus 5 at 3am with a continual drone; good location for Cuba street, all the good bars / restaurants etc. Cons: our bedroom was tiny (and looked like it was a typical size); the sliding door between our bedroom and bathroom was quirky and space saving - but had huge gaps in it (a problem exacerbated by the small size of the bedroom). But we’d definitely stay again, on balance. P

Beautifully decorated, very relaxing lounges, especially the Green Room.
Bedroom and bathroom compact but well planned and very comfortable. Will stay here again.
L.
Loved this place. Room was small but functional. Great position in Cuba St. Somewhere different and special. Well priced.
R.
Very cool hotel. The decor is amazing, and the bar make awesome espresso martinis. Rooms small but function well and again, fantastic unique decor
A.
Good price. If you are a light sleeper wear ear plugs as there's a lot of noise outside from about 5am onwards. Nice decor. No desk.
B.
As pretty as the photos very feminine vibes safe calm environment and very central
R.
Super cool flash place! Excellent room. Excellent service.
G.
It's like being inside a work of art, rather than decor. Stunning. The rooms are beautiful but small. I found Friday and Saturday nights a little noisy but will still be staying here again. Wonderful location on Cuba.
R.
Very cool vibe. Joey was amazing at customer service, and made us feel so welcome. Thanks Joey - you do your company proud.
The stay lived up to everything as explained in the Air New Zealand Inflight Magazine - January 2021 edition. (Page 62&63)
The hotel rooms were clean & a daily service meant we were so well cared for. Optimal location to walk anywhere in the CBD... absolutely loved our stay at Naumi... WE WILL BE BACK.
J.
Fantastic bar and reception area. Can't wait for restaurant to open. Rooms are quite small with no air conditioning though. Good vibe
B.
Beautiful hotel loved the design ❤
Great food in the hotel and great location right on Cuba st!
H.
Love this hidden gem. Lovely atmosphere. Roy the bartender is amazing and very creative. This will be a regular cocktail spot for me.
P.
The room was cozy. Wish it was cleaner than it was for me though... but dusty and marks on towels etc. Overall was a good time and the decor was unique!

I chose to stay at Naumi Wellington, as I stay at Naumi Auckland and have such a wonderful experience there. Unfortunately I was let down by Wellington. The room ammenities are on the budget side down to the hot drink selections not having hot chocolate or green tea which is pretty standard most places, no aircon which made for a hot few nights and my rubbish bin in the bathroom was full when I arrived. Not terrible, but as I know what the Auckland branch is like, I was expecting better.
M.
Was there for a course, didn't stay, and found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating, and the food was delicious
S.
Very nice set out, fully furnished with its unique style. Nice location as well. Thumbs up for room service even our room is still tidy :) Cheers.
P.
Really funky hotel.
Looks great. However roomsxare smallish and a bit noisy thru ajoining walls and slamming doors. Maybe softer door closers?
Great location.
C.
Stunning transformation of old and tired hotel into a bright, colourful and comfortable new hotel. Congratulations.
J.
Great location on Cuba so it's surrounded by restaurants, bars and cafe's. The restaurant isnt open yet but plenty of options around. Bed, pillows and linen very comfy
S.
Love this place. Central, warm, cool decor and bar. Restaurant opens in 3 months which will make it even better. Highly recommend.
L.
Great location, cool interiors and well appointed rooms. Single beds were too narrow though
D.
Kia ora, what a transformation for this hotel and amazing quirky decor true to the Naumi brand. Great service, 24 hour reception.
P.
The room was super modern, really well presented. Each part of the hotel impressed me a lot!
T.
Pretty swanky refurb, convenient central location and friendly... Not the quietest rooms, but I'm happy.
s.
Spoiled by the renowned I think..but comfortable and handy. The staff were really pleasant
T.
Excellent! Probably the happiest time of my life. I did struggle getting up the stairs in my electric wheelchair though but coming back down was thrilling.
W.
Small and compact room with all expected amenities. Quirky and bold color. Comfortable bed. Location location location.
D.
It was awesome to stay there though the beds were a bit small
B.
Great hotel the one thing we did not like about it is that our room (333) had a very squeaky and annoying fan which was the only real way to cool down as only one window half way opened
G.
So handy for shopping everything straight outside the motel
M.
Eclectic style is evident as soon as you enter. From the Green room to the Lola Rouge Bar and beyond colour abounds.
N.
Unusual decor but great location, very clean and comfy bed
R.
Great room, lovely friendly, helpful staff.
Totally recommend.
