Great hospitality & the staff were friendly. The studio apartment on the top level 9 with a great view & got balcony was awesome. The room was huge & the bed was comfy.
We went to Oak & Vine restaurant was absolutely lovely. Very modern & very quiet which we loved. The food was superb & we throughly enjoyed it. Love the cocktail with your name on it. Highly recommended for dinner & breakfast. Can’t wait to have lunch next time. We will be back.
Thank you. 5 out of 5. Excellent!

Lovely, well appointed and freshly renovated rooms. Not a lot of other amenities, and a very quiet restaurant. Feel more like serviced apartments, so if you’re looking for the whole hotel experience perhaps consider another place. Otherwise, the excellent rooms and location are a winning formula.

Was a little worried about staying in an internal room with no window but I think I prefer the no window. The Aircon was awesome on such a hot few days in wellington and the no windows meant sleep ins as it was nice and dark.
Our rooms didn't get cleaned at all during our 2 night stay but I'm unsure if it was meant to as it stated limited housekeeping.
The beds were super comfy and pillows were like resting your head on a cloud.
All in all a pleasant stay!

Scored a deal from Grabone! Relatively new hotel.Nice lighting.modern fixtures.bed not that soft which is what we like.rainfall shower! plus I personally love the scent of their shower gel.given a no window room, but we are not complaining.perfect if you just want a quiet sleep.difficult parking for big cars!

It’s my 2nd visit. Booked the studio apartment on the top floor. Nice balcony with the view. Clean and comfortable bed. Staffs were not that friendly but the hotel is nice and centrally located
D. M.
Staff very helpful and polite. Was welcomed and as our flight arrived 9 am, they were accommodating with storing our luggage until our rooms were ready. Dinning was very pleasant. Rooms comfortable. Wellington being our Capital city, needs to enhance the streets. Night life great around the city...but location brings the entity down somewhat. Wonderful stay.
B. C.
It was excellent the bed was wonderful.
Two things that you should know it has glass toilets and showers that don't leave much to the imagination in every room and whilst I was very happy to have blackout curtains they still let in a bit of light.

Oak & Vine is an absolute divine place to dine. Wonderful atmosphere and friendly staff. Love this cozy atmosphere 😊
first ever personalized cocktail available now in Wellington! Personalized cocktail, artistically handcrafted according to occasions. Creating memories to be cherished forever since "it's not just a cocktail, it's an experience"!
Thank you for having us! 🥰

This was my second stay at The Oaks and it continues to be one of my favourite places to stay in Wellington. The room on the 8th floor was small but well setup, with a window view over parts of the city area. The location is excellent, right in the middle of Courtenay Place. I didn't use the car park this time as I remember from my last visit it being only suitable for small cards and quite claustrophobic. I parked across the road in a Taranaki St carpark overnight for $8.50. Service was good, and both check in and check out were fast and efficient. The room was quiet overnight and it was a good place to explore the city from.

This was our first stay here and it will be our new go to. Location is so central, with food, bars, the waterfront etc all close by. We expected the room to be noisy because of this however it was really quiet! The room was clean, modern and I loved the whole aesthetic of the hotel. The bed was one of the most comfortable that we have experienced in a commercial building and we had a great sleep. The staff were kind and helpful and we were grateful for the on-site parking. We also tried the restaurant before we checked out and the food was incredible, and the service was amazing. 10/10 would recommend and we are already planning our next trip back. Great stay, thank you Oaks!
A.
Stayed here for four nights. Staff was great, swift checkin and check out. Room was well equipped, nice TV and rain shower. Location is fabulous if you are going to be walking around, very close to waterfront , restaurants and the museum. Housekeeping staff was lovely and always smiling. Security features for the elevator are a great addition. Room without windows are a bit uncomfortable if you are claustrophobic however it’s clearly mentioned before booking.
C.
My wife and had a lovely stay at the Oaks and would highly recommend it. The room was great and we had a beautiful breakfast there.

I appreciate my stay at Oaks Wellington at Te Aro. Situated not far from busy Cuba Street, so you would never be hungry or thirsty. My room was spacious and clean. The check in and check out was super fast and efficient. Recommend!
A.
My Room is fantastic.. bathroom is modern and clean.. the bed fits the room while still being a king size. Very happy and will be coming back
J. W.
Great location, extremely clean room and comfortable bed.
Would have given 5 stars but I left my phone charger and a necklace on the side table and after 5 days of calling I'm still waiting for someone to "follow up with housekeeping".
M.
Good value for money. The hotel is very centrally located, close to public attractions, lots of restaurants, bars, bus station and so on. Would be nice to have some cutlery, like plates, fork, knife in the room. But overall it is good value for money and centrally located
L.
I loved staying at the oaks! Real city gem. The room was clean and cosy and the bed super comfy. They have a really nice restaurant and delicious cocktails! Staff are so friendly, highly recommend the OAKS.
J. Z.
from reservation to check out, we enjoyed. I have to mentioned this is a last min booking, the staff was very helpful and she gave me the best deal possible. we had the suit executive room. The room was spacious and functional. We had breakfast in the room, enjoyed the view. just need some more toiletry and hangers. Toilets need more hooks to hang the robes. (this is only if possible, TAB need to move, it is in the front of the hotel make it feel unsafe walking out at night)
B. W.
For the price we paid it was above expectations. Room was very comfortable with a comfy bed and plenty of space. Shower had decent pressure and stayed hot. Few things that could be improved but as stated for the price walked away happy. Very convenient location. Would stay here again
A.
Once again, enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable. A must stay when in Wellington.
M.
We were pleasantly surprised at how fabulous this hotel was.
First of all, location is great for holidayers. Close to all the bars and restaurants.
Secondly, everything is so modern in the hotel. The bed was comfy, the heating/cooling was perfect. The bathroom always reflects on the business - and it was spotless and modern.
Service was warm and welcoming.
We will definitely be back!
F. A.
The location cannot be beaten. Right on Courtney place and walking distance to shop’s, restaurants and bars. But this is hardly luxurious. The room I stayed in had not even one window. In an emergency like a fire or earthquake this wouldn’t be a great hotel to be in if you are in one of the windowless rooms
M. S.
Very nice hotel, very central. My dad got a very good deal on one of the rooms that he stayed in. I personally did not stay but found it very strange that the shower/toilet doors were all made out of glass, so no privacy in the double rooms.
J. T.
Great location, that is the best reason to stay here. The service is a downfall here though. We used the bath robes the first night and they never got replaced and I think our towels were only replaced once. Rubbish didn't get removed by room service until we asked the receptionist to make sure it gets done. And they didn't seem to understand why we didn't really like having the accessible room with the shower curtains that left water all over the bathroom floor. Seems like the staff have never been to a hotel and don't know what to expect.
D.
Nice modern rooms, excellent room size, big spacious shower, plenty of hot water and pressure. Staff very helpful, restaurant was very good, kitchen does a great breakfast.
Gym was a let down, room was also used as a store room for tables, vacuum cleaner and chairs etc.
No towels, two spray bottles for cleaning the machines, no paper towel just a box of wipes.
Quite possibly the worst elliptical machine on the planet, if it’s not getting much use, it’s because it’s a garage machine. I lasted 10 minutes and the thing was feeling like it was going to fall apart.
Car Parking is a stressful experience, if you have anything bigger than a Suzuki Swift your going to struggle, my Holden commodore station wagon was a bit on the big side and I was luck to get out of that car park without any damage. Could be VERY expensive parking spot if you damage your car or someone else clips you. I have worked in commercial construction for almost 40 yrs and I am gob smacked this car parking passed planning, I really am.
If I return to this hotel, I definitely won’t be taking my car there unfortunately. Shame as the rest of the hotel experience was pretty good.
F.
Front of house service was great.
Convenience to the CBD.
I had to change my order 3 times as the drink and food that I ordered wasnt …

Cool
Excellent location, modern fresh
environment and great rooms at a reasonable rate. Perfect for a night out in town.

Everything was just amazing.
Close to town, management was awesome, staff very friendly and accomodating.
Food surrounding us, walking distance to everything.
Upgraded us as we didn’t wanna look at a brick wall.
We had the executive suite 🥰 spacious, clean and comfy.
Beds were nice to sleep in.
Air con came in handy.
Car park not very good for SUV but they gave us a private parking outside on the street under the cameras.
Highly recommend this place. Be nice if they had a spa or pool but hau I can’t please everyone.
I was totally stoked with our stay.
We stayed on the Main Street side and heard no noise. We’re there for 3 nights even in the weekends we still got a good sleep.
Buffet breakfast was awesome. Great value for money.
Thank you thank you thank you for having us and taking good care of us while we were there.
M.
Great spacious well appointed rooms. Handy to great restaurants and bars.
Comfy bed so good.
Car park is a little snug unless you have a smaller hatchback but take your time no worries.
B. P.
The staff at the front desk were excellent! They were very friendly and willing to help with any enquiry. I asked the staff about the wifi in the rooms because I had a zoom meeting that night, they said I would have no issues and they were right, great place to stay for business.
I had an internal room, it was quiet and comfortable. The room was spotless and everything was good quality. I couldn't fault it, great stay!
S. K.
A really nice new hotel. It was a bit of a shock that our room didn't have a window but on the plus side it was very quiet and we weren't woken by the sun at 5.30am! All the fittings were top quality and the shower was excellent. Great comfortable bed.
R. A.
Parking was the main grievance with this experience.
The car parks are very large and spacious if your children are planning to park their toy cars in there. However if you have a normal vehicle the amount of turning space and width to manoeuvre is laughable. We were given a small car space however all avenues of approach in the lot are tighter than a university students pocket. Spent 30 minutes trying to exit the building. A literal finger spacing either side of the vehicle to work with.
Otherwise we had a pleasant stay.
R.
Really clean and kept up to date (despite what the building exterior would have you assume). Friendly receptionist
L. P.
I found emailing them was a drawn out process and when I spoke with Oaks in Brisbane they told me the two bedroom had a lounge ad kitchen, than I found out was just a hall way door between rooms ,so tried to change to side by side rooms and seperate dates,as we were there in different days, by the time they replied the costs had gone up and when I asked at reception if I could cancell one of the rooms was told no,so I payed for 3 nights with noone in room, so not overly helpful and didn't want to know about it.
The rooms facing onto city view are very noisy and no double glazing, alot of bars ad clubs yelling etc below.
Also rooms near lifts are very noisy like a train going up and down all night.
The restaurant,bar is lovely.
This is a central hotel but beware noisy on city side.
E.
Really pleasantly surprised with my stay here! I had an internal room (booked through work) which I thought might be a bit dark and dingy, but the clever lighting in the room made it feel airy and spacious. Nice and quiet too despite being right on Courtenay Place. Definitely recommend.
N.
Clean, Tidy everything we needed for a staycation surrounded by activities and restaurants and the staff always had a smile and were ready to offer assistance
F. B.
Excellent efficient service and clean spacious room. Wonderful shower in ensuite. Parking facility is important in Wellington as well. I would, however, have liked some information in the room on how to make the heat pump less noisy at night. Also, I would have preferred brighter lighting in the room. It is ambient lighting rather than practical lighting.
J.
Clean & tidy, friendly staff, fantastic location, but for some reason the bathroom wall in our room was made out of glass.
This is all well and good until you're sharing a room, it's the middle of the night and you've got to go... but turning the light on lights the entire room up. You'd better have an understanding partner, or good aim in the dark
M.
Room was spacious. Clean.we had to wait a bit on arrival for the room to get ready because we have been told that they are short of staff on public holidays.we also didn't like the fact that room didn't have any windows. I think that should have been mentioned. Location is great
S.
Nice rooms. Nice breakfast. Cold beers
N. H.
I checked in today to our room and was excited for our stay of 6days with oaks. Unfortunately was very disappointed due to the questionable hygiene issues. The balcony was littered with smoke buds and disposal cup (the staff did come and remove as much as possible). Later I found mould growing in the fridge along with dirt on the floor. The staff is very friendly and willing to help. Iam just disappointed with the first impressions and organizing before a guest arrives. 4 stars for the team of staff for helping us fix what we weren't happy with.
S. L.
Excellent customers service. This is certainly value for money @$139 when we purchased our overnight stay here via the agoda app.
We had a late check in following arrival from the interislander ferry. The Hotel receptionist went the extra mile in assisting us with finding the hotels dedicated parking lot. We opted for The on-site breakfast and were impressed with the quality and service here again ,absolute 5 star ........a pleasure to stay at.
J.
I had to give 4 star bcoz of the way the bathroom door. The room was clean and neat and no complaint. But whoever designed the bathroom door shud never be allowed to design anything. Everyone in the room can see the person using the toilet coz there is a huge gap when you close the sliding door.
T. W.
Here for the restaurant, which was tucked away on the first floor. Delicious food, waiter recommended the pork belly which was a fantastic combination of flavours and textures. I also loved the ravioli and the cheese board for dessert. Good wines too.
G.
Handy to cafes and attractions of the bohemium quarte of Wellington city plus near to Te Papa Museum.
We stayed 4 nights. For the first 2 days our room was not serviced, despite …
J.
Was great location. Would have liked to have a room with a view as requested but really all you need is a place to sleep. Clean and tidy. Small rooms but has everything you need.
M. G.
A great spot for wining and dining!
There was a variety of classic dishes and new that were so delicious our table could of had seconds easily! Nice job team.Recommend.
M.
My wife and I stayed for 2 nights while attending a conference in Wellington. Our room was an inner room with no windows. Although this meant that there was no natural light in the room, it also meant that there was no street noise from the traffic and bars in Courtney Place. We enjoyed a good nights sleep.
D.
Excellent hotel. Flash bathrooms, clean, tidy, quiet, excellent receptionist. Missed out on room service as it is not available on Sunday but overall great hotel.
S.
Location is excellent if you want easy access to Cuba Street and Te Papa, facilities are relevantly clean but overall fairly average. Over the four nights stay our room was only serviced once which was disappointing and we had to make multiple trips to the reception to get amenities. We arrived on Christmas Day which was explained to be a ‘no in-service’ day but we had no service for the two following days and had to specifically approach the reception more than once to have our room serviced. The noise level during weekend night is loud and disturbing but this is something you have to trade in with the good location. Wi-fi is appalling and only allows you to connect maximum of 3 devices but even with only one device connected, the speed is absolutely ridiculous. They also have a strange rule about only being able to upgrade your wifi after 24 hours of being connected to which did not make sense ($5 every 24 hours I think). Overall, the location is great, facilities are relatively new but does not meet the four star hotel it states itself to be.
R.
My room had a lovely feeling to it and got a lot of sun on the 8th floor, which was great in winter. The views were nice and the room had all of the amenities I needed. Staff were very friendly. This hotel is in the perfect location to walk to Cuba Street and the waterfront. The windows in the room don't open but even in the city the room was quiet. I will stay here next time I visit Wellington.
W.
Booked through Booking.com. Central CBD location. Seamless check-in. Clean room, spacious walk-in shower with excellent pressure and minimalistic modern room decor. Independent heating/cooler unit. Great soundproofing for great sleep. Very basic gym facilities. Strong wifi.
J. H.
It is in a great location as you can easily walk to Museum and waterfront restaurants and bars or shops. Nice and quiet and good size rooms. Didn't give a 5 star as waited till after 2 till my room was cleaned and hand basin and toilet hadnt been cleaned. Also need little extras like disposable shaver (as you can't fly with one in your bag if you just have carry on) and maybe toothbrush and small toothpaste like most overseas hotels provide. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Meal we had for our conference was very good!
M.
Great location, attentive staff but if you're in a group and on different floors access might be an issue
I really did enjoy my stay - room (with view) was spotless and very comfortable
S.
We stayed there in Dec 2020. Excellent service from friendly staff, room service to front counter. Very clean and modern, rooms with big beds and a fairly decent sized TV, The hotel is right in the middle of the city so we walked out of the front door straight into food places, bars, movie theatres, Te Papa, New World, KFC etc .. The Behive is not far and this hotel is around 15 mins to airport. Excellent location! We expected a lot of noise with the bars being so close (esp in the weekend) but the hotel was super quiet (we were on level 6 and didn't hear much noise at all), we slept very well. The only downside was the carpark. The lanes and parking bay is sooo narrow and very difficult to negotiate. Coming down out of the parking spot was very difficult and had to have someone outside to assist with direction - hotel carpark is $25 a day. We decided to park on the road since we were out most of the day anyway. Free parking on the road from 6pm - 8am every day. Nevertheless, I would still give 5 star rating, great price for an excellent experience staying in at Oaks. Highly recommended to everyone! Thank you Oaks!!
D. M.
After staying at a number of similarly priced hotels in Wellington, this was second to Rydges. This is best for being less than 10 minutes from work. Clean, comfortable and featuring a restaurant and bar.
K.
Great place, nice staff. Car park is small so requires patience.
T. E.
Lovely room with a very comfortable bed and good size bathroom. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was very good as well. We will definitely be back!
M. S.
Only been here one night so far but all good. Decor and facilities good. Staff friendly. Fab location. Just wish there was a bit more space for clothes and maybe a luggage stand in room, to avoid needing to shuffle through suitcase on floor 🤣
L. T.
What is good: excellent location close to Cuba Street Shops and restaurants. Rooms are modern and clean, comfy beds. Love the rain shower. Service was excellent in particular the manager Luna who was prompt and attentive. Whats not: A very minor thing....housekeeping was not too attentive. Missed refilling the soap and sugar. Breakfast was a bit average. Barrista coffee not included. Overall a very enjoyable stay and i would recommend this hotel.
J.
Fantastic food and service, the host and the chef offered excellent recommendation and the food was superb!
I especially enjoyed the beef fillet which was extremely tender and paired brilliantly with the sauce.
Would definitely go back again
K. G.
My partner and I had such a lovely stay at Oaks. The room was clean and simple and the bed was heaven. Luna on the front desk checked us in and out and she was super friendly and had great suggestions for breakfast! We ended up going to Floriditas- thanks for the tip :) Great location to every thing central.
F. P.
The oaks hotel is a good hotel in a very convenient place. It is a nice place to stay, if you are wanting to be in the heart of town. Check out times work so well being as late as 4pm in the after. Lovely hotel overall and choosing as my current number #1 for wellington town
C.
Hotel is very nice and food is very good! Only problem I have is when I got to hotel they told me my room is not ready yet and that it would be ready by 2pm. When I went back at 2pm, they told me my room was still not ready and so it was quite a hassle to get myself another room. The room doors slamming shut kept waking me up throughout the night.
K.
Friendly service, modern rooms. Unsure about the glass partition between the bathroom and bedroom. Although frosted it doesnt allow for much privacy
R. H.
Fairly new hotel in a good location. Make sure to get a room with a view unless you want to stay in a box with no windows. Room was very clean and quiet, bed was very comfortable, staff very helpful. Car park was cramped, only suitable for small cars but easy to get around without a car.
M. M.
Fantastic receptionist this afternoon. No porter on a holiday weekend was a bit strange. Make sure you call the hotel a book your car park. Not really parking for large vehicles.
E.
Great central location in Wellington CBD. We got an 'internal room' which means 'No Windows' however great price for it if you just needing somewhere to put your head and sleep. (Super dark room when no lights on).
Super comfy beds and bathrooms are very nice. Would stay again if needed.
E. V. D. H.
Good and modern hotel in the middle of the city. The beds are wonderful but the internal facing rooms do not have no windows that can be opened. The only way to get some "fresh" air by operating the air conditioning. Also a minus is that this hotel unexpectedly charges a 2% credit card fee on its published rates. This is unlike any of the other many hotel New Zealand that we used.
A.
Fantastic and friendly staff and always smiling, beautiful modern room with a balcony. Breakfast was very nice. The bed is absolutely comfy. Loved our stay here.
A.
Nice and tidy hotel. The service was good. We had problems with our room which were promptly addressed and resolved 👍👍👍👍👍. They have really good restaurant, the food is yummy 😋😋😋 and the service is outstanding. The hotel is located right in the middle of Wellington, in walking distance to all tourist attractions, restaurants and bars.
C. C.
Modern hotel room. The internal rooms do not have windows, however this may be beneficial if you partake in the wide array of nightlife activities, and need to sleep in.
The restaurant serves a good breakfast with a variety of options.
The hotel is centrally located, so access to a plethora of restaurants, bars and stores is a breeze. The beach is a short walk away as well, along with the Te Papa museum.
Had a great stay.
G. G.
GOOD .. Perfect position as all is in walking distance .. Many Eating establishments in walking distance .. Room was very functional and Clean .. NOT SO GOOD, They charge you 2% for use of Credit Card .. The charge you extra for a room ($50 a night) with a window .. Basic TV Channels .. They do not clean your room on a daily basis .. They also charge $25 a day for parking .. Would I recommend ?
A.
Food and cocktails were incredible. Service flawless.
F.
Went there after the lockdown. Very happy with the service and food. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was super! Highly recommended!
R.
The room was beautiful. The bed was fantastic. Shower was great. BUT... the carpark was horrendous! Honestly the tightest I have been in. Ruined what would otherwise have been a brilliant stay.
M. L.
Exceptional customer service, comfy beds, I prolonged my stay for two more days as a result. The staff in the restaurant managed to prepare a drink for me that wasn’t on the menu just to make sure that the customer is happy. Only two things that are not too good - no windows in rooms.... and breakfast could have more variety
J.
Had two interior rooms. Chic and stylish, new bathrooms. Friendly staff. Had a great sleep and did not even notice the next door ram raid.
Can recommend this place.
S. S.
Amazing! Such friendly staff, the rooms are so beautiful and well designed. The GM gave such a warm welcome, told us some history of the building and accommodated all our needs. The location is perfect, so close to the airport and everything you will want to visit while here.
C.
Great new place of the accommodation map of Wellington. Top location. Very good amenities, nice and very reasonable priced on-site restaurant. Everything is sparkling clean and brand new. Special thanks to the two awesome people doing late-night check-in yesterday. Keep up the good work! :)
M.
Right in city, yes parking is tight for any other than a small car, given wrong room key they mixed up the number with another room, but was sorted after returning to reception, internal room nice.
T.
I surprisingly pleasant stay at a reasonable price. Will appointed bathrooms, bit linen is a little in the cheap side
C.
Good medium priced hotel. Not so keen on a room with no windows though. Good linen..bed..modern bathroom. Late check out a fantastic option.
K.
This restaurant is a real hidden gem. Easily the best meals we've had in Wellington so far . We cannot recommend them highly enough!
L.
Clean, quiet and very central to bars pubs and eateries. The only thing that really made me mad was the extra $25 per night for a car park! This is disgusting especially since I found a couple of parking buildings close by that have a $5 night rate.
R. G.
Must say I've stayed in a lot of hotels recently and this one was at the top of the list. Room was nice and spacious, bathroom and shower were amazing, especially the shower. Only real negative was parking, website said on site parking available, which while.teue, they neglected towntjon the additional $35 fee to access said parking. Other than that, was a great experience, highly recommend!
M.
Didn't like room no windows restaurant average when your wife orders 3 different things for service ie food & drink & you don't have it not a good look breakfast was good though
C.
Food is amazing, team is lovely, rooms are well kept and comfortable. Definitely recommend
C. P.
Good hotel. Nice rooms good service and a good breakfast. Bonus: tv works well and includes quick channel changes and working guide. Downside: the space for my bag wasnt big enough for my standard size bag. And no where else to really put it...
J.
Excellent service from start to finish. Helped us with last minute accommodation when our previously booked hotel did not work out. Great customer service from everyone. Modern and comfortable rooms. Thank you.
I.
Very nice new hotel in great location, unfortunately a few teething problems marred an otherwise good experience. Hence only 4*. Rooms are clean and modern if a little sparsely equiped, breakfast was good and staff very friendly.
A.
Great bed, no views, showing could be awkward if you are sharing with a stranger. Netflix and chill was sadly ruined by the lack of internet connectivity to your smart tv in room 2/10 Avocados
A.
Really clean great value.
Food needs more presentation.
And friendly staff. Highly recommend and it's central.
I.
Bed was comfortable. Central, close to Te Papa and Cuba St. Staff was friendly. Car park was extremely tight. Not suitable for bigger car.
D.
I really enjoyed my stay here, nothing to complain about. :-)
Nice rooms, friendly staff, tasty food and even a gym with everything you need. Would stay here everytime when visiting Wellington. :-) Greetings from Germany!
m.
Very clean which I like. ..The only thing I didn't like was the laundry room..Wasn't clean and no laundry powered and restaurant closed early ...No room Services , Considering it is a hotel , but great otherwise .
A.
Rooms are a tad run down with broken handles and poor lighting.
Great location if you are out and about...
2.5 - 3*
C. H.
room is nice air con is great basic as for an upgrade hate to think what the actual room was hidden deposit cost our room was supposed to be 215 ended up been 365 no definite parking must pay extra for that which is 25 per night
B.
Great central place to stay. I was worried about city noise but didn't hear anything. Friendly helpful staff.
W. R.
Nice and central, the one fault is that the central rooms have no windows no outlook which makes it very clustrofobic. Improve the lighting and pictures on the walls would help.
L.
Comfortable and quiet room so had the best sleep in ages. Nice breakfast too.
s.
Super fancy place in my opinion I loved the rooms the bathroom looked amazing and it's in the heart of Wellington so perfect location
V.
Perfect food, friendly personnel, great location and reasonable prices
R.
Room was wonderful and well decorated, great wet room shower, good breakfast, and free hotel parking, recommend the full cooked, we’ll be coming back for sure, great value with the GrabOne voucher
A. W.
This place is right on Courtney Place so clubs and people drinking is rife. However this also means many places are walking distance and lots of food options all around.
The parking garage is tight and small, it also cast $70 to park so we ended up parking and Les Mills just a road over for like $20ish.
G.
Very central to everything in city. Friendly staff. Room very clean and remarkably quiet. Parking very handy although tight to manoeuvre around.
m.
Very friendly staff, very helpful, reception, restaurant, kitchen employees. Good comfortable bed, nice room. Cannot fault it and ideally situated.
D.
Really loverly friendly staff good food and a easy place to get to
B.
Someone was given our room key by reception when a large group was checking in. The man entered our room as i was getting changed from a shower. The hotel did apologise and refunded a portion of our stay however this frightened me. I have never had this happen at any other hotel I’ve stayed in
P.
Good quality hotel with modern finish. Large rooms with good facilities and very comfortable bed. Restaurant and Bar good but pricey.
J. G.
Omg, incredible
I've seen some reviews critical of the service, wasn't the case for us, it's difficult to find (go in the oak building/hotel) but totally worth it.
Waiter was lovely and the chef came out to talk to us, really lovely touch. The wine was paired with the lamb and it was cooked over 16 hours and perfectly cooked.
Thank God we didn't order starters, the lamb for two was more than enough, beetroot was incredible and the stem broccoli was to die for.
Very full and very happy when we left. We'll be back next visit to Wellington. Thanks
B.
Enjoyed staying here. Good central location. Big clean rooms. Ok gym, good enough to do what's needed. Delicious food. Recommend.
L.
Hotel in great location to everything. Room was good size, bathroom had great shower, bed nice and comfy. Staff friendly and informative.
J.
Excellent location step out of the front door into Courtney Place. Small rooms and no view.
G.
Fantastic stay thanks, we'll be back. Wonderful room and staff were especially helpful. Room very clean and comfortable.
L.
Highly recommend. Food and staff customer service was excellent

Mostly comfortable, but the room servicing was below expectation. In room dining menu is underwhelming, but there are a lot of places to find food in the area.
S.
The room is good and the service is great. I would not recommend the breakfast buffet which was overpriced for what's on offer though.
S.
Very good location and walking distance to city area. Although no window but deco is new and clean
D.
Great accommodation quiet even though right on Courtney place. Enjoyed the buffet breakfast and the 11am checkout

Lovely rooms, clean and fresh and the shower is amazing. Great in-house Restaurant
J.
Great service, smart rooms. Rubbish parking. Difficult to get a space, and very difficult to drive around once in.
Park elsewhere.
K.
Hotel is in central Wellington and it was OK, but our room was musty, not what we were expecting for what we paid.
M.
We had breakfast this morning, it was really good and fresh! Staff were very polite and friendly!!

l.
Very central great location (although rubbish collection outside bedroom window 4am woke me up) rooms very tidy, modern facilities, sufficient gym
E.
Very nice place with central location and helpful staff however the car park is so small and crampt it verges on being unuseable at least if you don't want to get your car scratched if you stay here is would strongly advise parking elsewhere
A.

Good hotel really nice and central but the parking garage is archaic

Must say I've stayed in a lot of hotels recently and this one was at the top of the list. Room was nice and spacious, bathroom and shower were amazing, especially the shower. Only real negative was parking, website said on site parking …
D.
I'll be back to stay here when this lockdown is over 5 star location
W.
Nice spacious.room, newly innovated? But you may get a room without windows, one may not like that.
C.
Parking tricky for big vehicles room comfy and tidy good sleep.. meal was lovely
A.
Very pleasant presentation. Good food but coffee service extremely slow.

Had a lovely meal at Oak and Vine on Sunday night. Everyone enjoyed the food. We ordered the ravioli and arancini as starters. Although the portion sizes were small, the flavours were fantastic. We ordered the duck, beef fillet and snapper as mains. I thoroughly enjoyed the duck with its spicy chorizo. The beef fillet was tasty, but the snapper was just ok. The desserts - chocolate fondant and coconut panna cotta were delicious, although there is quite an intense lime flavour in the panna cotta. The service was also great. If you are looking for a good meal, I would recommend Oak & Vine. Only reason for the four stars rather than five is the lack of ambience which is probably due to the Covid pandemic meaning less hotel guests that would otherwise frequent this hotel restaurant.
S.
Beautiful rooms with excellent touches with sufficient power points and comfort.
C.
