Well equipped room had exactly what we needed for a relaxing stay. Location is super central which meant we could walk everywhere. Enjoyed having a bath, kitchenette with coffee plunger and room lighting that was very adjustable. Just wish we had bought the gourmet chocolates when reception was open! A great find.

The executive floor room is small but mostly fine. The room need a little renovation and cleaning as there's spill marks at the air conditioning unit and ugly cracks on the wall. Toilet is small and the kettle can barely fit into the tap to fill up. There's a microwave, plates and cutlery for anyone looking to have some simple meal. Closet space is good and work desk is a little small for someone who have a lot of stuff.

Our room was a bit on the small side for the price, but perfectly adequate for a weekend in the capital. It's in a good location and only a short walk to all the main attractions. Didn't have much to do with the staff but they were pleasant enough on check-in and check-out. The room was cosy and quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was a decent enough size and clean, shower was good.

We upgraded ourselves to an Executive Room which I believe is pretty much the same as a normal room except it has a bath. It’s not a large room but sufficient space for 2 people. The sink is tiny! There’s hardly any space to keep anything there. There’s a coffee machine and they stock coffee, tea and chocolate. Convenient location but unfortunately we had to park outside because the parking was full. It’s not cheap to park on the road so try and get a parking space at the hotel

Great location for Central Wellington easy walk to shops restaurants, cable car and sea front. Very comfotable reasonably sized room with separate shower room, Kitchenette, flat screen TV and super comfy bed. Staff were great very friendly and helpful, I would definitely use again for a Wellington trip.

Generally good place to stay, excellent central location and good value. Friendly and helpful and looked after our bags for an extra night. Great breakfast. Room we had was small made worse by too large bed and TV on a warm that meant you banged into when you walked by. Some small maintenance and housekeeping issues but nothing serious. Also watch out if you check out at 11AM as there can be a queue of people questioning the 100$ preauthorisation. However good nights sleep up on the 12th floor and room has pretty much everything you need including plates and washing up liquid. Top tip check the parking in Carlton st opposite as can work out cheaper.

Clean room and bathroom. Nicely equipped with fridge, microwave and even dishes and utensils (this was extremely helpful for us). French press coffee in room but still also generic instant stuff. Noise carries easily from hallway so be aware of this. The place was kind of hard to find... a bit hidden but this also has advantages. Front desk helpful. WiFi was not very reliable though and would suddenly disconnect and be down for 20-30 minutes. Overall a good value but a few things were lacking that could be improved upon. The location can not be any better though. Right in the center of it all and bus stop on Lambton Quay that connects to the airport easily.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Room was tidy, bed was very comfortable. Not many facilities at hotel but everything is within a short walking distance. Provided with free membership at Les Mills during my stay at hotel, which is a 3min walk away. Good location and close to Queens Wharf, but a minimum of 20min walk to Te Papa. Some decor elements within hotel are out dated. Comfortable 1 night stay, 09.10.18.

This is a great place to stay in. The location is perfect as it is just a walking distance to places that I needed to go to. The room I had was clean and spotless. Will definitely come back here again.

For the price and location, this was a great value and a great stay. The room was large and comfortable. It had easy chairs along with a table. There was a small but functional kitchenette with fridge and sink. Bathroom was a bit small and the shower was a bit low, but fine. It was well maintained and super well situated. Entrances from both the back street and off Lambton Quay. Wellington is very walkable and we walked easily from here to everywhere we wanted to go. Staff stored our bags for the afternoon with numbered pickup tags. There is a concierge available.

Nice and tidy hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Room was functional and clean. There was a noise that would disturb my sleep through the night at times though. A creaking building or window noise. Breakfast was very good and checkout was easy.

A new and modern hotel. Service is friendly and the hotel well organized/run. I stayed in three different rooms during my stay and all were the same in quality - high. The only criticism I have is minor - there is next to no storage for personal bathroom items, storage for clothes is limited to hanger space only in the last room I stayed and the TV size in the last room I stayed in was a bit too small to watch movies, but adequate if all you wanted was to watch the news or shows. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, but you also pay a pretty penny for that. The wine list showcased some very nice examples from NZ regions, but again you can expect to pay top dollar for that. All up, a very good hotel to stay for a day or two, but if you stay longer, be sure to ask for a room with storage for your clothes unless you want to live out of a suitcase.

Room and bath are very clean. Spacious and has all the kitchen utensil: micro wave, stove and everything. Can tell hotel is old but seem newly renovated. Would give it a 4 or higher but the service was poor: ask for ice and said no oven when they are suppose to have room service. Reception lady was willing to help but says the parking is full but after circulating street for 20 min found out that parking is only half full. So in short not very helpful or knowledgable staff but room is great.

The loveliest hotel staff anywhere I have ever stayed - all the people at reception, housekeeping and the bar / restaurant I have seen over the past week have been great. The rooms were good too: ordinary rooms do not just have a microwave, they have plates and cutlery too as well as stuff to clean them. The ones on the top floors add a small hob, with pots and pans too. But it is the staff that I shall be remembering the most.

Quiet location, friendly staff and clean with a good restaurant. I'm not giving full stars as the room was small and the bathroom tiny and unventilated with poor fan. And also despite an email and a follow up phone call to secure a parking spot we had no confirmation or anyone come back to us. They did accommodate a space on the condition that would be blocked in behind the managers car and despite not being able to use it as a functional space charged us in full. The stay was fine but I'd probably try somewhere else next time.

Bit of a queue to check in as no one allowed in before 2. but enjoyed our stay and our room was always very clean. Good bed and pillows nice. Went to go to bar and restaurant night of 30/12/2018 and it was closed until 13 January which is a bit odd for holiday time. Got a good nightly price so we got value for money. Not a good view. 5th floor overlooking car park. Liked being in middle of town shops. Close to cable car.

Very clean and tidy hotel right on lampton quay. Had all that you would expect in a hotel including a well appointed in room mini bar. Views from windows just car parks but that doesn't matter when you are out and about. Late check out is great as can leave bags in room while shopping before checkout. Room was more spacious than average. Very little street noise. Would happily stay here again.

Stayed for a couple nights and felt very at home. Chic yet simple feel with super comfy bed and clean bathroom. Free wifi, staff are friendly and very helpful with any questions you have. Very central location, easy walk to waterfront and Cuba st, 5 min Uber to ferry terminal. Will definitely be back if I visit NZ again.

Lovely for a staycation - even got a room with a view straight towards the harbour. Breakfast on a Sunday morning a little busy but delicious once it arrived and was easy with our included breakfast rate. Room was well equipped - a better hairdryer would have been nice though.

The rooms are very quiet. A bit on the small side but they have everything you need for a short stay, even some crockery and cutlery if you want to organise your own breakfast. Definitely good value and lovely staff

I hadn't expected much and was really pleasantly surprised. So much so I made the effort to write a review which I rarely do. Reception was easy and efficient. My room is large and well laid out, with a great space for working and a well put together kitchenette. Nice new decor, an uncluttered feel and everything is very clean. Really impressed and will make a point of staying again next time I'm in town. Very surprised to see some low ratings from others on here but the reasons are basic, eg. parking in central Welly will always be a logistic nightmare.

Very well presented rooms, we stayed on a 3 bedroom suite with kitchenette. Very modern and elegant. Very well kept and clean. Only downside was it room being too hot and stuffy. The aircon unit did not provide adequate cooling and the bedrooms in our suite had no ventilation, making for a rather restless sleep. I will not recommend starting here during the summer months.

Lovely comfortable hotel. I was ill and so used room service for dinner and breakfast. All staff were friendly and helpful. Bed and room was modern and really well equipped. Great location on the Terrace.

Newly opened (late 2016) hotel, brand new facilities. The standard suite is nice, definitely adequate but the king suite is really, really nice. Standard suites have fridges and microwaves. King suites have kitchenettes. Wifi is decent and good enough to web conference on (my experience is limited to connecting with Australia) . Complimentary gym service at a proper gym with complete facilities and classes. Conveniently located, perfect distance to walk off dinner after eating on Cuba St :) lots of decent cafes close by for coffee in the morning. I've heard good things about the restaurant in the hotel too.

Clean and tidy, very comfortable bed. Ideal when having an early morning ferry check in. The parking, although in a public car park, was right next door and reasonably priced.

Literally hidden away in the heart of Wellington, this gem is clean, modern and very reasonably priced. Some rooms can be a bit tight, but not wot worry, it's very high quality lodging. The attached Sterling restaurant is quite nice as well. Hard to find, tough to beat!

Very good location, convenient room size and equipped with all the tools required. Staff is very helpful. The breakfast at their restaurant "Sterling" is excellent. Located near the train station and the ferry as well as the main city attractions.

Rooms are not fully equipped. One small air con only for 2 or 3 bedroom appartment, exhaust fan doesn't work, nothing is available in room for free. The room price is way too expensive comparing with services provided in room. Also the hardest thing is no parking available.

Service was really good. Restaurant the Sterling serves good quality food in small pricey portions. Good wine list. My room ok but definitely on the small side. Location is perfect if you have business to do in the CBD.

Great hotel situated in the heart of Wellington. Walking down the street , situated between Farmers and Unichem Pharmacy, is the entrance to the hotel. You could easily miss it If you didn't know it was there (see photo). Very clean rooms, well maintained. Excellent service.

Rooms are tastefully decorated and comfortable with good bedding and seating areas. Location is fantastic. 5 min walk from the Wellington cablecar. However on our second night there were construction / drilling sounds in the area around the hotel- part and parcel of being in a city.

Nice room, air conditioning, biggest bed I have slept in, and comfortable, well soundproofed, kitchen facilities, great views of the city, (depends on what type of room you option) absolutely in the middle of the CBD which is fantastic. Somewhat difficult to find to actual lobby entrance though which is somewhere off The Terrace.

The room we had was rather small however they were adequate for a short stay. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. If you require parking I'd recommend booking in advance as it fills quickly. The fact it has 2 entrances (Terrace and Lambton Quay) is pretty handy

Noce room. Views were not great, and the parking is tiny,.cramped.and awkward to get to. Staff was super friendly. It felt like a business hotel more than a place for tourists to stay. In the end I was glad we only had a short time here.

I like how you can access this Hotel off Lambton Quay. Service good and efficient. Room comfortable and clean. Well priced at 140 dollars +/-. Looked out over a car park but hey price good as well as vacinity to the main street. Didn't use other facilities

Awesome restaurant. Staff are very professional. I ate here all week and tried most of the menu. My two picks are the Angus eye fillet - one of the best steaks ever. And the lamb shoulder is delicious. If you want something different try the bone marrow entree

The room was really nice as were the staff but I have to say for a 6 person room the bathroom was far too small and needed a window. also the rubbish bin for that many people was too small But over all i really liked it and will stay there again

The hotel is very central to the CBD, with access from both The Terrace and Lampton Quay. The rooms are kept clean and tidy, and are of a good standard. The WiFi is OK but not great however, could be difficult to work remotely over.

Quiet and clean rooms. Stayed on 12th floor. Hotel is in a geat location. Shops, cafes, grocery store, and restaurants close by. Very good restaurant on the third floor, however, don't expect the same quality of food for room service after the restaurant is closed. I ordered the angus burger at 8pm and it was obvious it was not made by a chef. The burger was overcooked and the buns burnt. Fries were ok. The cost of room service food is a few dollars more with an additional $5NZD delivery charge. Don't order room service at night.

Couteous service. Shining clean room - warm and welcoming. Gleaming bathroom tiles. Choice of teas and coffees, minibar. Restfull artwork. Stovetop which I wasn't expecting. Windows that open for fresh air and on the 11th floor the traffic noise is muted.

Very clean in a convenient location. There are 2 entrances. If you can't find parking, street parking is free after 6pm. Rooms are very modern and well kept. Felt right at home.

Even though I live in Wellington, sometimes it's nice to treat myself to a little staycation in the city! I've stayed here twice now and it's very affordable for the quality you get! Make sure to book through their website for the best deals!

Stayed in my fair share of hotels while traveling for work, Park Hotel is right up their for a comfy overnight stay while out of town for business. The room is on the small side but has all the expected amenities.

Great hotel close to everything, can walk to all the sights. Comfy bed and pillows. Love having a kitchenette and restaurant has great food too. Definitely recommend staying here.

Best bed on my 7 diff hotel roadtrip this year. Down in the lobby the restaurant put out teasers of food (in snack size) on mini breads :) "ya for free" Got a breakfast voucher with my booking which gave me full access to restaurant brunch meny. Had duck (not bacon or salmon) eggs benny, orange juice n 2 mochas Hope i win the business card comp for free nights :)

Nice room with self catering facilities. Bed was comfortable. Nice and clean.

Good hotel with nice facilities. Only problem was we were only allowed one key card between 4 adults and the front desk was only open 9-5.

Business travel at time when they had a flooding incident in the morning. The lifts were flooded and we had to evacuate in the middle of breakfast. However the incident was managed well and had one lift working by the time we came back in the evening.

Opposite David johnes and bus stops galore. .quiet and secure with swipe card for lift and rooms..helpful staff but shower over mini bath meant very hard to get into if elderly..would stay again with cheaper rate we got for $350 a night for 2 bedrooms

Very clean, tidy large room. Walkable to heart of CBD and yummy breakfast at the restaurant downstairs. Happy to stay again when next in Wellington :-)

This plaec is good to stay with family. I cooked for my kids . And stay comfortable. Wellington has not enough place to stay . If you want come here you should make reservations earlier

I would have preferred a better couch. Their couch was a small stiff two seater which became uncomfortable with long TV watching or reading so couldn't recline comfortably. But the service was friendly and they are well located in town with a suitable restaurant on site

Nice rooms and decor but disappointed that the heater wasn’t working and no electric blankets. Toilet was small cramped. But I guess in downtown wellington that’s what u get.
