Room was spotlessly clean, staff super helpful and friendly. Really can't state that enough! Totally commend you on your front of house ladies. They were the best.
Great location and everything was easy.

Dated one and two bedroom apartments with a mix of long term tenants /owners and short stay overflow managed by Quest. West facing apts have views of Tinakori hills and motorway. Chose a higher west facing apartment if it is available. Quest has a reception in the entrance. Good location mid Terrace with access across the road down to Lampron Quay.

Very clean and wonderful staff, have stayed twice recently
k.
Room small but good for the price..didn't get her name but receptionists was lovely 5 stars 🌟 to her was so helpful

Great location! Apartment was fine but building looks tired. Shower is great. Facilities are fine. In a small room you'll have everything that you need: stove, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle etc...even wash machine and dryer.
We had an issue with the bedroom...we booked double bed and it was 2 single. Staff solved the problem changing sheets...not exactly the best solution.
Someone smoking in the hallway in front of our bedroom was quite annoying.
Bed was not good. Mattress was probably worn out. It made very uncomfortable to sleep.
Parking costs extra $25 a day and it's not in good conditions. Very tight spots and there was scaffolding around making parking a bit of a mission.

Great location for access to CBD sights. Apartment was well equipped, shower was great. Clean and tidy. However don't even attempt to use their parking if available, it is too small to maneuver anything bigger than a bicycle, weekend parking is great at Clifton car park a 5 min walk from the hotel
A.
Tiny apartment but well appointed.
I don't think the room was designed for a king sized bed.
Almost everything you'd want was there.. even salt & pepper !!
TV was poorly placed.. only one person could see it from the bed, and there really wasn't room to move the single armchair anywhere else.
M.
Amazing beautiful private apartment on the terrace, prime real estate, central Wellington and amazing staff.💙😊

I had an excellent stay at this hotel with my friend. We stayed for 4 nights. The rooms were very spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable and great. The staff are friendly and welcoming, they are willing to help in any way. I do recommend this Hotel to anyone staying in Wellington.

Basic rooms. Light switches falling off. No electric blankets. Smelled of curry in the corridors. All in all. I've been to worse.
K.
Simple room room easy for access to town and good beds apartment smelled really damp Everytime you walked in. But otherwise fine.
B.
Not impressed no indication of where the rooms were. All once you got to a floor it was like a rabbit warren. On a brighter light the room was satisfactory.
D.
Quite a hilly incline from the train station to here. We were already aware of this, but the hills continue inside with about 5 steps from reception to the lifts and 3 steps in your apartment as well. Staff were nice. Comfy beds.

Had a very enjoyable at Quest on the Terrace while on a work trip to Wellington. Martin and Andrew on the front desk we're super friendly and helpful while I was there. The room was very clean and had a fully equipped kitchen from Plunger Coffee (a must for the early morning meetings) to cutting board and quality knives. A few hours after checking out, I realized that I left my Drivers Licence in the room and Wendy on the phone was very helpful and within 10 minutes, they had located my card. True Lifesavers!! Location is also perfect, close to downtown (10 minute walk) and has free overnight parking in front. Will stay again!

Staff was really nice and location is really convenient as you can one of the many lifts that take you down to Lambton Quay. There is also unlimited wifi which is much appreciated. However, main and biggest downside was the quality of the room, mostly probably due to the age of the building but there was no controllable air conditioning, the window facing bedrooms are very humid, to the point where the bedding feels kind of moist to the skin. The windows are also paper in this hotel, sound insulation is not great, especially annoying in Wellington as it gets super noisy when the wind picks up. Amenities are also ok here, shower is a bit small depending on the room you get, and the shower head is not removable. Otherwise a good experience but points mentioned made sleeping in here quite uncomfortable for me.

Lovely apartments by Quest.
Rooms are spacious and have all the amenities one needs like a dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, iron etc.
The family room is a double bedroom and is spacious enough to not feel cramped up and has a cosy common area with heaters for the harsher winters. Fans are also available inside the room in case of a warm Summer.
Parking is provided on the upper floors behind the building.

Wow.. Loved this one..Everything is awesome here. From the day one to 15.. The Servicing team done the great job and was beyond my expectations.
They are very humble and supportive. I will recommend this one to everyone as it is cheaper also and have all the stuff you required during your stay like kitchen, utensils, press with board, fridge full of milk, teaand coffee bags, sugar, microwave, Washing machine, toaster dishwasher and even the extra blanket also.

Hotel is nice, as is every Quest. Nice stylish rooms. Major issue is road noise, which is infernal. No sleeping without ear plugs! Balcony door was also little bend on our room, so even more noise will come in.
L.
Good place to stay. Close to the city
K.
A solid 2.5 stars. Functional. Well used, old furniture. Over priced. The washer dryer was really good. The service was also ok. Not sure I would stay again but it was a handy location.
T.
Studio had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. It was super clean and comfortable and Lambton Quay was across the road and down the elevator. We loved our stay and will be booking again next time we visit this great city!
D.
I have stayed at most of the Quests in this region. I find this one the best value for $$. Its also far enough away from all the street/city noises but close eough to any thing you need. Countdown is a short walk away

I needed to book last minute accomodation for a Saturday night. It would appear that I was running out of preferred options and come a cross quest on the terrace. I booked and was a little concerned that it may not be ideal. I received a text message of conformation for my booking followed by a detailed message about how I could get to my room if I arrived after the office closed. When I arrived at reception I was greeted by a woman with a foreign accent(German??)who I can only describe as outstanding! She was welcoming friendly and nothing was a problem. I got to my room and it was nicer than I had anticipated. We saw the lady again at the counter who gave us a few tips on getting around(and remembered my name). I am an ex-wellingtonion but her help was appreciated. I was highly impressed by the reception I received and the service I got. It just goes to show that the establishment can get you so far but it's the people who are ones who turn good into great. Thank you very much. Give this lady a pay rise she is an absolute asset to you company and I would have no hesitation in recommending quest on the terrace again. Regards, Steve sharp

Amazing stay. Awesum staff and customer servicing. Excellent pricing for what you have in the room. Haircut just next door. Convenience store on the right. Clean room each day with fresh linen.washing MA Hine dryer a bonus in the room. Good size fridge. Would book again as close to everything in walking distance.
K.
The room was ok, beds were comfy. There was no fan in the bathroom so was a little slippery afterwards.
Traveller tips : ask for a room 4+ floors up and facing The Terrace. The rooms facing the motorway can be a bit noisy.
AVOID getting a car and using their carpark. It is the worst carpark in the world, even the Stig would have trouble in here. Everyone who we met that used the carpark was wondering how they were going to get it back out again - don't say you havent been warned.
A.
Not bad, room was tidy and clean at 1st look. But then you see mould on walls. Reception wasn't available on arrival.
V.
Convenient when in Wellington City Centre. Parking was a bit challenging with a larger car. Some furniture a bit worn and bed was hard.
R.
The location was really good as it was close to the main shops. There was scaffolding and works being done but not too much of an issue. Would have appreciated email notification but still enjoyed our short stay.
B.
Beds are comfy. Living area is spacious, but every thing else seems a little tired and fails to live up to the impression given by the photos on Booking.com
e.
No drop off parking outside. Rear of building very noisy from major highway. Comfortable & clean. Well ewuipped with coffee plunger.
J.
Great location (5 stars for location, 4 star overall) and everything needed when time to put feet up or crash out at end of day. Be sure to find out the best elevators and short cuts through buildings to take you down to lambton quay (glass lift was fun and is directly opposite, james cook only one open past midnight though). Westpack stadium, tsb arena, cable car, bontanical gardens, waterfront, lambton quay, night life of courtney place all within easy walking distance so great base to explore from.
T.
Well equipped, comfortable, convenient. A few minor maintenance issues (extractor fan not working, window catch broken) but overall good value for money.
D.
Great little place to stay in Wellington. Noisy for a rural man, but I'll be back. Friendly staff. Probably good a family.
R.
Clean and tidy unit, 4 if us and lots room. Handy to Te Papa and city. Reception closes early but no issue.
K.
Friendly staff and well organised but a dated building and crampy rooms. Not a bad budget option if you want to be near the city though.
N.
Got awesome people nice beds really good showers enjoying the view outside the window
K.
Don't recommend for anyone with a disability where stairs are a problem. Parking is awful and it's the only place we stayed that we had to pay for parking. It is close to city attractions though.
T.
Could do with a lot of fixing in side .no modern heating or cooling the privacy lock is broken. For the money should have been a lot better
S.
Great location and room was clean and well appointed. Secure car park and lovely staff
P.
Good central location, helpful staff. Was a little disappointed with the comfort factor of the bed :-(
P.
Desperate urgent booking, Nancy kindly took us in 1:30am.. after a long flight in from Australia. Thank you Nancy.
J.
Great place to stay, a bit noisey on the motorway side but the city side is perfect.

5 stars for the front of house staff, couldn't have been more helpful and lovely. The 2 Room apartment was perfect for our brief stay. Shower and beds excellent. Added bonus of being non-discriminatory

(Translated) Reception very friendly. The hotel is a bit old. Currently being renovated from the outside. (If it was helpful, thumbs up).
