I recently had the pleasure of staying at Rydges Airport Wellington, and I must say, it was a delightful experience! The hotel boasts a modern design that truly enhances the overall atmosphere. One of the standout features for me was the conference room, which offers beautiful views that create an inspiring environment for meetings. It’s the perfect blend of professionalism and comfort.
The hotel room itself was incredibly comfortable, making it a great retreat after a long day of travel. I appreciated the attention to detail in the room's design, which added a touch of luxury to my stay.
While the food options in the airport departure lobby were somewhat limited, I found the variety to be sufficient for a quick bite before returning to my room. Everything closes very early, only subway was still open which made my dining experience quite enjoyable.
However, I believe there is room for improvement in the staff service at reception. While the team was friendly, I felt that the check-in process could have been smoother and more efficient.
Overall, my experience at Rydges Airport Wellington was wonderful, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling through Wellington. The combination of modern amenities, comfortable accommodations, and stunning views makes it a fantastic choice for both business and leisure travelers alike!
Our one-night stay at Rydges Wellington Airport was both pleasant and convenient. With the Air New Zealand check-in counter just a minute’s walk away, we avoided the stress of a long drive at 3 a.m. We’re frequent guests at Rydges and always appreciate the incredibly friendly and helpful staff, as well as the clean and well-maintained rooms and bathrooms.
However, the beds can be hit or miss. While the king-size beds are comfortable, they tend to be too soft and springy, causing some disturbance with every movement. This made for a less restful night, so next time, I’ll request a firmer mattress.
On a positive note, the food at the hotel restaurant was outstanding and a far better choice than the kiosks at the airport. Thank you for another good stay—we’ll definitely be back.
Great airport location. Easy check in/out however the room looked well used. The bathroom in particular was grubby around the corners of the room and the back of the bathroom door looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. There was some sticky runny brown goop making the option to use the towel hook non-optional.
Stayed for a night, great to have internal access straight from domestic terminal. Room was very clean, fantastic bathroom and shower and a large comfy bed.
The hotel was good, food was good and location convenient given the late notice in our need to having to stay in Wellington for 3 nights.
Our only gripe and annoyance is that this is a international hotel and there is an additional charge required to use a credit card.
Having stayed in several hotels throughout the worlds, this is the first whereby I've come across additional charges for a credit card to be used for payment.
Everywhere else this is accepted without additional charges, even in New World/Woolworths/Farro/petrol stations and other hotels none charge for the use of a credit card for payment.
Staying at Rydges, as we had ridiculously early flight. Accommodation was clean and tidy. Pillows were awful way too big for your neck. The food was extremely disappointing. We paid for the 28-day scotch fillet $65 and it was AWFUL. it was fill of gristle, The sides were nice, and I loved the Brussel sprouts. Service was friendly.
There is a lot to like about this Hotel, however there are some issues.
I arrived in Wellington after 12hrs of travelling. Unfortunately, I checked in just as a conference had been let out. The line to Check In was queued right back, down past the elevators. And it was a very slow moving line, with only 1 staff member at the counter. Finally, another staff member joined, and the line moved a bit quicker. The lady who checked me in was extremely courteous and detailed in her information and directions.
My room was on the top floor, on the southern side of the building, at the very eastern end. The room was billed as having fantastic views. Unfortunately, whilst you could see a little bit of the runway and of the distant ocean, the predominant view was of the large Airport Roof. I can't help feeling that if I had had a room further along towards the western side of the building, the views would have been far better.
I had been allocated a Accessible Room, which felt very light and airy, but had an open, tiled bathroom, which I personally hate. The first impressions of the room are very good. With a lovely colour palate and soft furnishings. The large king bed was extremely comfortable, with good quality, clean linen. A large wall mounted TV, which had a decent range of channels, plus the option to cast from your phone. There was also a huge range of movies you could choose from, including new releases. The Internet was very easy to connect to, and it was extremely reliable. I had no problems streaming and downloading stuff. I loved the fact that there was a sofa that you could sit on to watch TV. It was nice having somewhere to sit that wasn't the bed. In the wardrobe, there was a tea and Coffee making station, plus a bar fridge. No in-room Mini Bar, but there was the option to order items to be delivered to your room.
So overall, there was a lot of good. However, there were some issues -
* The bathroom was a shocker. I ended up with an Accessible Room (not sure why). It had an open tiled shower. The shower curtain was far too short (and I mean short!), which meant there was no way to stop water spraying out all over the bathroom. The whole floor was soaked and would be lethal if I was actually disabled and had a fall on the wet floor. Had to use all the spare bathroom linen to mop up the excess water.
* Cleanliness in the bathroom was an issue. There was mold beginning to form on the tiles. There was also a heap of Soap Scum all over the Shower Head and Rainfall Head. It was so bad in places, it was actually blocking some of the shower head outlets.
* The telephone was faulty. Trying to order room service was frustrating. It just would not place a call, and when it did, it would just drop out. It's really annoying. Also, the Hairdryer was broken and didn't work as it should.
* When looking closely, you could see the room was looking really battered. No doubt Hotels, in particular Airport Hotels, have a hard life. But some paint goes a long way.
* Unfortunately, my room was right beside the elevators, which made for a noisy night.
When I checked out very early the next morning, I did mention some of the issues I encountered to the sole staffer at the desk. He didn't seem all that interested, but he said he would "look into it."
At $380.00, I felt the room I got was a bit of a letdown. For that money, I expected far better. Not so battered, a lot cleaner, and fixing some of the broken items. I booked the most expensive room, advertised as having amazing views over the Sea ans Runway - it was quite the let down to be allocated a room overlooking the roof and carpark, with smallest glimpse of the runway. It felt unfair given the price I had paid.
I would stay again, but only if the price was right. I certainly would not be forking out extra for their 'premier' South facing rooms
We were really looking forward to staying here and booked a north facing room for our aviation-enthusiast neurodiverse son. When we arrived, they put us in south facing room, which had views over the terminal roof, we could barely even see the runway. We spoke to reception, who told us we had been given a free upgrade, but we asked for the room we had booked and the reasons why, which they didn’t seem to understand given the south facing room was more expensive. We finally managed to get our original room, which had fantastic views over the airport and aircraft. Unfortunately that night there was a cancelled flight and reception became busy with people needing a stay over, so despite another 2 visits to reception, the sofa bed was not made up for our son to sleep in, so my husband had an uncomfortable nights sleep on the couch with no bedding while our son bunked in the large bed with mum. We thought this may have been an unavoidable error, so we’re quite surprised that when it came to our second night, they still hadn’t made up the sofa bed, even though our room had been serviced in our absence. Another 2 trips to reception and by 10pm the bedding was dropped at our room, hours past his bedtime. We were given a $20 food voucher as an apology. When I emailed to further discuss this, no one was interested.
I arrived after midnight and asked for a late checkout which was graciously approved. Room was great and receptionist awesome. Great place!
Absolutely can't bet Rydges airport hotel in Wellington from 5 star restaurant, to validating parking, sound proof rooms and conveniently located directly above check-in. This has become our go-to hotel when travelling now.
Very convenient for early departure or late arrival. You can reach here directly from the departure lobby. Even though the building is located in the airport, the noises of aircraft are limited and soundproofing seems very effective. Rather, the neighborhood was noisier than aircraft... The room was large enough to stay for transit but the closet was a bit small for us. There are lots of arts inside the hotel and you may enjoy them during stay. The rate is decent compared with the hotels in the city central given the convenience of its access to the airport.
Checked in last night without a reservation and friendly lovley accommodating staff. Great room service and not being funny but best fish and chips I've had in a very long time. Makes a difference when a chef cares. I could not recommend this hotel enough. Thank you ridges for caring and being somewhere comfy to stay
Highly recommended hotel in Wellington. My room was great with a great view facing airport runway. Toilet was super clean with a very spacious bed and living. The hotel is nicely located right within the airport. The near by suburb with essential shops is a bit walk from hotel, so if you are not driving and need to go for shopping be prepared for a good walk with an experience to walk under the airport runway.
Not only the convenience of being literal steps to the airport (meaning extra sleep in for our early flight), but amazing service too! Going the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable with top notch food from the restaurant to match. Can’t forget the amazing views of the runway! Could watch the airplanes come and go all day!! Big thanks to Renee and the team for making our stay special. We will definitely be back
Rooms are spacious and fairly clean (although if I have a little complaint the in room alarm clock was not adjusted to account for the Daylight savings time that had occurred a week prior to my stay, so they were an hour off). Although the rooms are advertised with Northern or Southern views, what we mainly saw was the car park. Noise isolation was very good, though. Obviously not much to do in the vicinity, and unless you check in earlier, not much to even see. Wouldn’t recommend it over a hotel in the city for most circumstances, but if you have an early morning flight, this location is unbeatable.
I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Rydges Wellington Airport hotel and I must say, it was a pleasant surprise. One of the standout features of this hotel is its location, right within the airport terminal in the check-in area.
The convenience of having a hotel located within the airport itself was truly remarkable. After a long flight, it was a relief to know that I didn't have to go through the hassle of finding transportation or wasting time traveling to a hotel. Instead, I was able to simply walk from the arrivals gate to the hotel reception, which made my stay incredibly convenient and stress-free.
The hotel itself was well-appointed and comfortable. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The staff was friendly and accommodating, ensuring that all my needs were met. The hotel's design and decor were modern and stylish, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Despite being located in the airport, I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet the rooms were. I didn't experience any disturbances from the airport noise, allowing me to have a restful night's sleep. The soundproofing was excellent, which was an added bonus.
In addition to the convenient location, the hotel also offered a variety of dining options. Whether I wanted a quick bite or a more formal meal, there were several restaurants and cafes to choose from. The food was delicious and the service was prompt and friendly.
Overall, I was highly impressed with my stay at the Rydges Wellington Airport hotel. The convenience of its location within the airport terminal, the comfortable rooms, and the excellent dining options all contributed to a wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable stay at Wellington Airport.
While the hotel boasts an excellent location, the service, regrettably, does not measure up. Despite booking a family room, we were advised to call if the connecting door between two rooms was locked. When we faced this situation and made the call, there was no response. After waiting and attempting to contact them again, we personally approached the reception. Despite their assurance that there was no issue, they failed to fulfill their promise to unlock the door. Additionally, before arriving at the hotel, we had requested a room with two twin beds, and although they promised to arrange it for us, that commitment was also unfulfilled.
We stayed at Rydges Wellington Airport because we needed to catch a 6:30 am flight the next day. This hotel was beyond our expectation of what an airport hotel would be like. The room was clean and comfortable. It was actually a really nice room and amazingly quiet.
It was a little pricey though, but the convenience of just going on the elevator at the hotel and be able to be at the check-in counter only steps away was definitely worth it.
Beautifully kept room, friendly service (although I’m sure they could absorb the 2% credit card surcharge…) location is excellent for my group to come together as we are all over the country. Booking was last minute and still got a reasonable deal. Sound proofing in room left a little to be desired, noise from the hallway travelled, although no issues hearing what was happening in other rooms (unless in the hallway)
Rooms are decent. Everything in the room was neat. Food options are limited.
They don’t have any porters or anyone who can help you with your luggage.
We had a lot of luggage and we had to move it ourselves.
No water bottles were provided and you have to spend $18 to get 1 ltr water.
Save your money catch a cab... Sound proof room & comfy bed and there it ends. For a 4 star - not so clean (bathrooms not so clean, stains on sink and dirty cups / spoons), not fun to find (outside signage leads to a locked external service door on ground floor) average service. Worst though no biscuits with the instant coffee... Had to unplug fridge due to rattles. Be ok with under nz$200 a night and 3 star rating, their 300 plus and 4 star should be reviewed by commerce or fair trading act...
Good rooms, good size, clean, good tv options and other amenities. Rooms still are very expensive for what you get. You pay for the proximity to the airport. Great for travel, but if you have enough money to stay here and don't need to be close to the airport, there are more boutique hotels in town that are a nicer experience.
What a great location! Booked this one last minute in prep for a 3am start, and so glad we did - made the task so much easier. Would highly recommend, well decorated too! 😁
I did find the beds a bit uncomfortable as they were quite springy, but was still able to get to sleep alright.
5 star rating due to Renee being absolutely amazing. We had a cancellation and Air NZ were struggling to communicate on where we would stay. Renee went above and beyond to make sure we were set up, had a place to stay and was just amazing in a time of need. Will 100% be staying at Rydges again and that is all down to the service Renee offered :)
We had a meeting here in the conference area, my room score is for that room. We were well looked after, food/drinks were on time. The IT equipment and Aircon worked well. The wifi did drop out a bit maybe as a number of us were on it. We've been to some other venues and for service/ease of use for use this was streets ahead!
Title: Convenient and Comfortable Stay at Rydges Airport Hotel Wellington!
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Review:
My recent stay at Rydges Airport Hotel Wellington was nothing short of exceptional. As a frequent traveler, I greatly appreciate the convenience and comfort this hotel offers, especially for those with early morning or late-night flights.
The location of Rydges Airport Hotel is unbeatable. It's just a short walk from the Wellington Airport terminal, making it incredibly convenient for travelers. After a long flight or before an early departure, the ease of access to the hotel is a definite advantage.
Upon arrival, I was greeted by the friendly and welcoming hotel staff. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, ensuring a hassle-free experience. The staff members were professional, attentive, and always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests throughout my stay.
The rooms at Rydges Airport Hotel are spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed. The beds are cozy, providing a restful night's sleep. The room amenities are thoughtfully provided, including a flat-screen TV, a mini-fridge, and a coffee maker, adding convenience to the overall experience.
One of the highlights of my stay was the soundproofing in the rooms. Despite the hotel's proximity to the airport, I was pleasantly surprised by how peaceful and quiet my room was. It allowed me to relax and unwind without any disturbances, ensuring a rejuvenating stay.
The hotel facilities are excellent. The fitness center is well-equipped, allowing guests to maintain their exercise routines while away from home. The on-site restaurant offers a delightful dining experience, serving a variety of delicious meals prepared with fresh ingredients. The breakfast buffet was particularly impressive, offering a wide selection of options to suit every palate.
The hotel staff's attention to cleanliness and hygiene is commendable. Throughout my stay, I noticed the rigorous cleaning protocols and sanitization measures in place, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for all guests.
Whether you're a business traveler, a leisure explorer, or simply need a comfortable layover before catching your next flight, Rydges Airport Hotel Wellington is the perfect choice. The convenient location, coupled with the exceptional service and comfortable accommodations, make it an ideal place to stay.
I highly recommend Rydges Airport Hotel Wellington to anyone visiting Wellington. It provides a seamless and enjoyable experience, allowing you to relax and recharge before or after your journey. The hotel's commitment to guest satisfaction and convenience sets it apart as a top-notch accommodation option near the airport.
I had a pleasant one-night stay at this conveniently located airport hotel. The staff were friendly, and the buffet breakfast was excellent. I had no issues with noise from the airport or planes. However, I was disappointed by the significant amount of dust in the room, which triggered some allergies. Nevertheless, the comfortable bed and overall convenience make it a suitable choice for a brief stay.
Fairly good hotel, prices were okay and location is amazing, right in the airport. Rooms are very well sound proofed so you don’t notice the planes. The breakfast buffet was very nice and staff were very helpful. Rooms could use a bit of a facelift and it’s a minor complaint but the cleaning staff didn’t restock the room when we asked in the mornings, so we were running on one roll of toilet paper for 3-days among other missing items, didn’t seem worth calling down for restocks but it is worth noting. It’s also a fun novelty being able to walk directly into the airport from the hotel.
Room was a great size as a solo traveller, and the bed was so comfortable. There was plenty of shampoo, conditioner and body wash which are provided in large containers within the shower. Absolutely love that it's location is inside the airport itself. The staff at reception are top notch and I love that they are from various ethnic backgrounds. I highly recommend staying here if you have a 6am flight with Qantas to Sydney and recommend you check-in at 4am, not 3am as suggested on their itinerary.
Arriving at the hotel at 230am, Milan was waiting to check us in. He was so kind, efficient and friendly and made us feel welcome even at such an anti social time. We enjoyed the whisper quiet room and wonderful bed. The room had all we needed for a good nights rest. Thanks Rydges and Milan.
Such a fantastic and beautiful hotel. Stayed here before my flight out of NZ. Was so nice being able to sleep in and not worry about commuting to the airport early morning! The hotel connects to the airport so all you have to do is walk downstairs!
Excellent location. Had to overnight in Wellington before an early flight so it was a no-brainer to stay here.
Quiet room, clean and had everything we needed, with a good shower.
Flight was around 6am so we checked bags, grabbed a coffee and went back to the room to wait until boarding time.
Staff on reception very helpful and friendly.
Would have liked room service but there was no menu in the room. No problem, just popped downstairs to the airport terminal.
Very convenient location when you have an early morning flight. Room was clean and completely soundproof. Overall a nice stay.
I will try to avoid entering Auckland international now that Wellington international is a more suitable and easier option. The fact that there is a Rydges Hotel right inside the terminal makes traveling to Wellington much more attractive now. As for my room this was very well received. I just hope not to miss the morning flight and sleep in as my bed is super comfy, I give the Rydges an A+ for just being there.
Bed was very good. Rooms are well set up. Breakfast choices very good. Front of house staff were great - back room teams do a great job under challenging circumstances. Airport location is good but need to use airport parking building was a pain. Wellington weather maintained its poor reputation......
Only stayed due to flight cancelation. Room was a little dirty. Bathroom could have done with a proper cleaning but bed comfortable, plenty of room and restaurant food and service good. Handy place for 1 nights stay.
Absolutely phenomenal for an early morning international flight. Reception is wonderful and very informative, well kept room and everything we needed! Super comfy beds
Fantastic to have the Rydges hotel connected directly to the airport.
We did (7 of us) the old walk off the late flight and directly to our hotel room.
Who ever did the noise abatement work on this hotel did a superb job.
Even the full reverse thrust landing could only be heard by standing right next to the window.
The triple glazing with a very large distance between panel 2 and 3 and protected by sound deadening perforated material did the trick.
The room had a huge bed that was quickly put to use.
A great night's sleep
This place was perfect for our needs. We travelled as a family of four (mum, dad, two kids who are 3 & 1) and found the entire experience very convenient. We arrived 16/12/2022 on the midnight flight and accessed the hotel directly from the terminal (a god send when you are carting luggage and two sleepy babies), checked in with ease and went straight up to the room. We booked a family room which is two adjoining rooms - main room has a large king bed, and the other room two singles. Amenities are all brand new, towels and bedding were so comfortable. Front of house staff always ready to assist. We returned again on 30/12/2022 for an early morning flight back to Australia on 31/12, and the experience again was just as pleasing. The location is just prime - parking available right outside the front of the hotel, and you're able to access all of the vendors within the airport (for us, it was food and the car hire company that was most important) without having to battle the famous winds of Wellington.
Pricing: 16/12 I paid AUD$615.00 for one night and on 30/12 I paid AUD$559.00 for one night also - For me the price was well worth it. We had access to two full sized bedrooms, everything mentioned above, and it just made our lives that much easier navigating travel at tricky times with two young children. 10/10 would absolutely stay again.
Awesome hotel located right inside the Wellington airport precinct.
My room had views of the runway so 8 spent half a hour just watching the aircraft (jets and propeller) coming and going.
The tv has a gazillion channels, just plenty there to watch.
The restaurant was incredibly busy, but staff still got our meals to us quickly. Well cooked and presented meals with a fresh taste.
Awesome service today, I was in a pickle due to a flight being returned to Wellington after not being able to land at home due to weather.
Reception sorted me a room with no issues, quick, friendly efficient service.
Can't ask for more.
The receptionist/manager was pretty abrupt and not that welcoming. But room was nice. The bathroom was decorated amazing and clean. And being right at the airport is super convenient, I would definitely stay again.
The hotel is incredibly convenient and well presented, but there are just a few comfort issues that really let it down.
The restaurant for breakfast was very nice.
The beds have a cheap waterproof mattress protector, the ones that are a plastic membrane that make a lot of noise when you move around. They need another topper to cover it up to reduce noise and improve breathability.
The doors do not isolate noise very well. Sure the windows are excellent at isolating aircraft noise, but inconsiderate other guests make a hell of a noise banging suitcases and talking very loudly when coming and going in the night.
They need some signs in the hall to remind guests that they aren’t the only people staying in the hotel, and some better soundproofing on doors.
Super convenient if you are working at the airport because it literately inside the airport.
The rooms are nice and clean and it’s quiet modern. The food and room service is average.
I had no problem sleeping at night and I couldn’t hear the planes come in or out.
The bed (super king) was perfect. For me, having a good clean room with a comfortable bed is important along with it being quiet to rest after a long days work. They ticked the box for this. Maybe lift the game for food.
Fantastic. Had early morning flight. So location is just the best. Good friendly staff at reception to greet you. Great view out window of the runway to watch planes .
I had very lovely experience staying at Rydges Airport Wellington. Their reception and restaurant staff members were extremely polite and helpful. Room was neat and clean, I had high expectations with room's décor part but didn't meet unfortunately however its wasn't bad though. Room's view was pleasant. A guy name Vivian was very humble whom I dealt with, in the bar and restaurant. The Night shift reception guy was awesome too but I forgot his name unfortunately. Overall, I enjoyed staying there.
Another flight delay .. another airport hotel . Brings unpleasant experiences to mind . But what a pleasant surprise !
Conveniently located within Wellington domestic terminal . I was greeted by great kiwi hospitality and immediately given a room at a very reasonable price . Nice corner room with a view of the tarmac . The room was very clean and surprisingly big for an airport hotel and very quiet . Excellent bathroom , amenities and walk- in shower. Good water pressure added to the great experience of a rain shower. Note however ; the tile shower floor is very slippery .
I enjoyed an exceptional veal dinner and once again great kiwi hospitality at the bar. Pity there is no cocktail menu, but staff very eager to please and followed my instructions to produce quite a few exceptional cocktails :)
The breakfast menu was sufficient, albeit a bit limited. I opted for avocado on ciabatta and a poached egg. Well prepared and presented.
Check out was speedy and I surely wouldn’t have minded another flight delay. Well done Rydges!
Great location if you need to catch an early international flight the next morning. Never take a room on the 5th floor - some loose roof panels make a hell of a racket all night long in strong winds, and there are ALWAYS strong winds in that corner of Wellington. If you want some undisturbed sleep insist on a room on the floors below. Otherwise all acceptable. Food in the little on site restaurant is ok.
Very hospitable, comfy beds and nice amenities. Good location for flying out of or meeting people arriving being attached to the airport. Great view out to sea with large windows in each room. Free covered parking available in the airport car park made it easy to to head out to Wellington and back.
I can't judge the rooms as I haven't really stayed there,- BUT the staff has some of the friendliest and nicest people I have ever met. We have been stranded at this airport for a night and they have been incredibly helpful and nice to my family. The breakfast there is also great btw!!
Beautiful room. Immaculate. HUGE bed and fantastic shower with two heads! Great to wash off the stress from work before heading off on holiday! No need to go outside to check in to your flight, the terminal is accessible from inside. You can check in then head back to your room for a cuppa and another shower!
Well presented rooms, good comfy bed, alarm clock, TV, sofa in thr room. Only slight drawback is no desk in case you wanted to work. But definitely a nice quiet place to sleep!
I would like to shout out to Michael at the front office for helping me out today - and being so kind, courteous and helpful! Thank you!
From the moment we were told flights were canceled we saw signs to The Rydges Hotel inside the airport terminal we thought great we don't have to travel far lol. Reception knew what to do once we arrived at the deck. No worries and got us comfortable rooms. Restaurant was quick for order to bring back to room, beds were very comfortable not hard like most and supportive. Everything fresh and new. Fantastic highly recommend for a night over.
Reception made my check in easy, allowed me to leave my bags while i joined my table for dinner. Ended up having to ask my order be taken to room as my little one was grizzly. Had good selection of movies for free i put on Encanto for the musical entertainment. Margherita pizza arrived! It was yummy i'm not much of a food blogger but we i mean i, finished the entire thing while my little one as he happily ate the tips of every slice and ignored the rest.. Shower is strong, towels are decent size for me to let my hair dry while twisted upwards. Servers at the restaurant are lovely well spoken, kind! Overall enjoyed my stay here
Well architected and very comfortable rooms. Staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful. Over all a hands down 5 star experience and I highly recommend. Must be in the top 3 hotels I have stayed at in NZ and in the top 10 I have stayed at worldwide. An excellent hotel that hands down is much much nicer than any other Rydges hotel in Australia or New Zealand. I have nothing bad to say about this hotel.
Considering they are THE airport hotel, I can't understand how they don't have any food options for people who arrive on late flights. How hard would it be for them to have toasted samdwiches or something for late arrivals?? They have people arriving at midnight EVERY SINGLE DAY OF THE WEEK. But ask for food and they tell you ypu try uber eats. Very nice rooms though.
Restaurant is expensive and service was a debacle. Only saviour was response from manager after we requested a chat. Rooms are very overpriced for what they offer and the general tidiness and cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired (discarded room service trays, un-vacuumed carpets...). Comfy bed and pretty quiet and dark room rescues it from the abyss.
Stayed one night before our flight back home to Singapore. It’s worth signing up as a member when you book online as you receive a free drink voucher from the bar / restaurant and have flexible check out time.
The room was very spacious - plenty of room for 3-4 large suitcases. Comfy king size bed and a well decorated black and white bathroom. Overall pretty impressed compared to other airport hotels I’ve crashed at. Friendly and helpful staff from check in to check out too.
Staff were so helpful, friendly and professional.
Food was absolutely amazing. Would definitely recommend getting the breakfast package as well as it is so yum, convenient and much cheaper. The room was beautiful and perfect for my partner & I.
It is so convenient staying in the Airport too especially if you have early flights.
It would be nice to have Netflix on the tv tho lol. This place is also loaded with rich business people so you may get some funny looks other than that the place is great.
Really nice rooms! Very clean with a really nice bathroom and furniture. Excellent location if you are catching an early flight, you literally walk out of the lobby into the airport. I just wouldn't recommend having a car while you stay here as parking is not free. We had our rental car company drop us off in front of the hotel.
A great place for the night before or early flight. Couldn't fault it except for 2 things. The bathroom was quite small with the toilet right behind the door and the restaurant wasn't open so we had to eat at the airport.
Very convenient as it is right inside the airport. We had a king standard room and we had a view of the planes arriving and departing which was cool. Room is sound proof as well. Was clean, pretty spacious and tidy. Would definitely stay again.
Brilliant! New facilities and comfortable room!
The lady who assisted me with the room issue was excellent, she made my stay memorable, super friendly and helpful. The overall service was perfect and the customer service I've received was superb! Give her a raise!
Lovely hotel. Very friendly staff & great restaurant. Great room with amazing view of the airport out our window. All soundproof so very restful. The airport is just under the hotel so no chance of missing your plane. We found finding it a bit confusing as you have to go through airport parking. Which you use as Rydges don't have their own. Very enjoyable - well worth a visit 😀
We have stayed at The Rydges several times, generally when we're flying out of Wellington, as we love the convenience of staying right beside the terminal. This time we were driving and we made use of the 24 hour check-in as our ferry was very late and we arrived at 1am! Parking was handy and the staff are always lovely, the rooms are modern, clean and quiet, and the beds super comfy. We have a couple more stays booked and are looking forward to returning.
Good value for money considering the location. Ideal for early check ins. Stayed twice, first room was very tight with the travel cot, second time the room was much more generous and had a runway view.
Good service. Got early check in, thanks. Good size room and comfy bed. Will stay there again.
Extremely helpful and friendly service. Great views out over the airport but with superb sound proofing so I wasn't woken up by the three aircraft that parked up outside my room in then middle of the night.
I highly recommend the restaurant (Whisky Lima Golf), especially for a coffee. Very friendly staff and only $3 for a very nice coffee before 11am!
Stayed 2nd Dec 2020. A very well designed and comfortable hotel. All the staff were friendly, welcoming and professional. Our room was spacious, modern and well equipped. The evening meal (fresh fish and chips) was superb and exceptional value.
I stayed for one night so this rating is for that. I have to use the airport entrance rathed than the hotel which is bit disappointing. But the staffs are really helpful and welcoming. You can save a bit if you book ealry and once you register with them (0$ cost) you get discount as well a card for free drinks with your stay.
Room is cosy with comfortable bed and quite. And it was really convenient me to get the airport.
Overall great experience.
Wonderful hotel, spacious rooms right in the airport, but minus the noise, lovely bathroom, everything was well lit and clean with a great big bed, nice restaurant but if you are not feeling fancy, best ugly bagels, subway, and more are just a few steps away. Great service, when my flight was well after my checkout, the staff let me leave my bags with them for hours until I was ready, would be keen to come again
My son missed his flight yesterday he was booked on a flight at 12:50pm 20-5-22 and the gentleman at customer service was so lovely he put my son on the next flight with know extra cost and allowed my son to carry two bags on the plane with him. Thank you air NZ for your great service and it was my son first time ever flying on a plane 🤗✈️
Stayed here a couple of nights before an early flight. High quality hotel, a good night's sleep - incredibly good sound insulation - we couldn't hear the planes from our room. Only downsides are uncertainty on arrival (where to park, where to find reception) and not ideal for exploring Wellington itself (though only about a $20 ride on Uber - or an hour on the bus / about 90 mins pleasant walk on the Southern Walkway) . Incredibly convenient for catching a flight!
Very nice place to stay. Loved the bed very comfy. Not having to leave the airport as it is adjoined was great as the weather was horrendous outside. Good food in the restaurant but a very limited menu. Has a reasonable gym too. Overall very good.
Spent nearly a week at this site where we held examinations. Rooms were well proportioned, both restaurants provided an adequate range of offerings. Staff at this site were fantastic, no request was to big or small. They attended to everything for us, this made the whole process relatively stress free.
So convenient to the airport terminal, no need to even leave the building. Our room was a little small. The view of the airport was the best, there was almost no noise from planes, the service was nice and it wasn't particularly expensive. There are better hotels in Wellington, but the do require the trip to the city.
Frequent user of this hotel for business, Location is convenient for meetings and the rooms are always clean and well equipped. Really like the breakfast and the Palaton Bar.
Stay was perfect and the hotel helped me out with some luggage storage as I was leaving the country and had heaps of suitcases
Super clean and spacious room. Stayed the night before a return flight home. So easy to just go check your bags well in advance of your flight and chill out in the room for a bit before heading to your gate. I got a good nights sleep and was surprised how quiet it was for an airport hotel.
Thankyou Rydges for finding us a room last minute when our flights were cancelled last night! The rooms were clean and comfy and the showers were amazing. Being so close to the airport was great for our early flight with 2 young kids. Extra special shout out to the young man on the counter who was polite and efficient despite a huge line of disgruntled travellere (some of whom were less than polite). We will be back, but hopefully planned in advance next time!
Loved it, so convenient to wake up, go down the stairs and boom, you're in the airport. Got a free juice because I signed up to their website and enjoyed the free Wi-Fi. The gym was pretty clutch as well. I loved this place and would definitely recommend it.
Had the most amazing stay here when the trans-tasman bubble was open before and after a trip to Brisbane. Great service, clean, spacious rooms and lovely & quiet. Had dinner and breakfast in WLG & the food was great. The gym is nicely stocked and could get a good workout in too. I’ll alway stay here before an early morning flight & after a late night one as it’s just so handy.
Fantastic hotel. Love their rooms.
Not that impressed with the service when we hired a meeting room for the day. For the price you think it would be tidied at lunch and water would be provided.
Fantastic service and a five star facility! What a great place to stay. I onl had one small hiccup with one of the dinners I ordered, but I think that was a communication error more than anything as the food is fantastic! Comfortable rooms with a decent mini bar (something that isn't as popular as it use to be, unfortunately), high pressure showers and instead of Sky, they offer free New Release and Blockbuster movies. If you're staying in Wellington, I highly recommend that you stay at Rydges Wellington Airport. 👍
Nice room, tidy and clean. Bed is comfortable and lining quality is high. However a bit noisy at night from window and I have to use ear plugs. Restaurant is great, very nice long black!
Second stay at this hotel. Wonderful as just one floor from check in. Great rooms and very well sound proof as didn't hear any early flights. I highly recommend.
Stayed at superior king-south room. The blond lady in the reception was so friendly and helpful.
Room: Clean and spacious place for only $165 per night. Sound proof against noises from outside but unfortunately not from the aisle. Movies for FREE on TV. Fridge was pretty big. Wine glass, normall glass, and mugs were available. Nice and simple temperature control on a touchscreen. Door easy to open, just tap your card on the door. Unfortunately, no desk to do works.
Parking and access: Free parking. The place is located in the airport complex so you'll get a parking ticket upon enetering. Just keep your ticket and give it to the reception everytime you're leaving and you can drive away without being charged.
Hotel is connected to the airport. Another accesses are the main entrance (just across the parking building) and on the basement. Access points are locked afterhours and can be unlocked using your roomkey.
Gym: small gym with machines and dumbells .5 kg to 20 kg if not mistaken. Clean towels are provided. Also, shared yoga mats.
Dining area: good lighting. Didn't try the foods so can't say much.
Very nice accommodation, lovely room and view. In room meals were very nice too, though we had trouble explaining to the receptionist what meals we wanted. The gluten free brownie was delicious
The location alone is worth the rating. Incredibly convenient right in the airport terminal.
Service was friendly and welcoming.
Room was big but bare, good standard but no soul.
This is a very convenient and newish Rydges hotel at the airport. The rooms are modern, double glazing makes it very quiet. The shower is large and modern fixtures. Ex wifi strength. I enjoyed the sirloin steak with courgettes and a Aussy shiraz. Right now it is very economical. A must.
Dinner at Whisky Lima Golf. Really good dining room host. The food was well cooked and presented and delicious.
I would definitely recommend here.
Clean modern environment, 👌
Very pleased with the service and care about our meals here, the cleaning staff are professional and efficient.
10/10 team Thanks so much!
With an early flight to Syd, we decided to stay the airport to make it easier to get up and away. The hotel rooms were super comfortable and it was one of the best decisions ever to book in at Rydges Wellington airport!
The room is really nice. The parking situation is really unorganised through the airport parking. When we checked out it was disappointing to see a $5 charge for room service when on the TV menu it says its free. The man at the desk was a bit of a wet sock not really that friendly.
Excellent service and great location. Room was very quiet and had a good view.
Nice rooms, clean and comfortable, for accommodation alone I would rate higher but the thing that brings it down is the restaurant service, they forgot my meal the first night, then forgot my drink order for breakfast. Might be due to the covid restrictions but there seemed to be not.enough staff and no one checks if you need anything else after you make your food order.
The room was clean and quiet. Bathroom was lovely. They need to make a taxi entrance d so they don't have to add $5 to every trip to and from since they need to drive through parking area to get to hotel entrance.
Beautiful room with lovely views - you wouldn't even know you were at an airport. But being at the airport makes it very convenient for those early morning flights, or in my case to recover from a long day of flight cancellations due to bad weather. Lovely staff and good food. I have enjoyed my stay thank you.
It was a good unexpected experience for me having a cancelled flight due to weather conditions by that time. Got this booked online for just a few minutes very accessible through the airport just a few steps away. Place was nice sparkling clean and cozy ,staff was very helpful as well.
Only able to check in at 3pm and they have a surcharge for credit cards. The Restaurant was reserved for a function and the Peleton bar had only a limited selection.
On the bright side the room is nice and the staff very friendly and helpful. The location is ideal if if you fly in or out of Wellington.
Most convenient to overnight - located immediately on top of WLG Airport Arrivals/Departures. Easily accessed without leaving the building. Approach 2nd floor Reception through walls of a spectacular Mirrored mural opposite great paintings of fields of flowers. Reception is efficient. The nicely furnished Standard room offered a most comfortable King sized bed. Everything is new & well designed. We wished for lower softer pillows however. A compact well designed bathroom with spacious shower offered all amenities. We were happy with our stay and value for money, given the convenience afforded.
Yum. The food is great. More than I was expecting from an airport meal. Service was fantastic. Staff are attentive, and fast.
Stayed in a corner room . Room itself was well appointed and clean . Bathroom was clearly done quickly often as under bench showed built up crustiness around the legs of the cabinet (I don’t go looking but noticed this when I grabbed my towel) so eww
Reception was friendly but judgy/cold - hubby checked us in but no recognition of myself standing beside him - team it is important to recognise that the person is not checking in alone even if it is just their name on the form as his company paid . If we decide to come with them it is likely us who decides whether to return .
Perhaps a smile is all that is needed but I definitely felt ignored/unwelcome .
People dropping weights in the gym downstairs echoed up into our room which was a little disconcerting and noise from people coming back down the hall late was a little unwelcome
Outside of this it was a nice stay and would recommend if you are due to fly in/out early
I recommend Rydges Wellington Airport Hotel. So convenient if you are from out of town. The bed was soo comfortable I thought about missing my flight!!
We went to watch the planes for two days - we are nerdy planespotters!
The whole event was excellent.
Two good restaurants within the airport to choose from. Reception and check in very good.
Great hotel awesome seeing runway. Comfortable bed beautiful room service breakie. Parking great as well. Will stay again and would recommend to anyone.
Excellent location able to walk from international flight. Great service at 1am and could not fault the luxury bed. Will definitely stay again.
Excellent! Great service, clean and tidy room. Very quiet! Buffet breakfast was fantastic! Highly recommend.
Great place to stay if flying in. Rooms were good and really quiet. Blackout blinds were truly blackout do you could get a good night's sleep.
Got a room upgrade. What a lovely surprise. Despite being beside the airport runway, we could barely hear outside activity. What a bonus. WLG restaurant caters well for people with gluten free requirements. I had the snapper. It was superb. The lemon butter sauce was an excellent fit with fish, green beans and broccolini. I also had a complementary glass of bubbles. We shared the chocolate mousse. It wa smooth and rich without being too sweet. The fresh blueberries were a perfect foil to the richness of the mousse.
Staff were professional, helpful and friendly. The room decor leans toward masculine and is classy. Will be staying again.
We stay there as we were flying out early international, which meant we didn't have to travel to the airport so early. Nice hotel check-in staff were very friendly and helpful
I honestly can’t recommend this place enough! I stay here even when I’m not flying. But if you are flying, staying here is a real help! You just go downstairs and then you’re right when you need to be. There is also an early breakfast option if you traveling early. The food in general is great too, very good quality.
Friendly staff all round.
Perfect if you are getting a flight. Rooms have sound proof windows so I did'nt notice plane noise. You can walk to the departure/arrival lounges for both domestic and international in 5 mins. Bar is good and you can get food easily from the airport including subway. Burger King is a 10min walk outside of airport if you want a burger.
The facilities are ok, yes its great to be at the airport but noticed a few things.
The lining around the elevator is torn, there was a vaacum cleaner left in the hallway outside my room.
Rooms are clean
The location, room & staffs all great but we have to use the airport entrance rather than the hotel own entrance as I was told, the elevator broke 3 days ago. If not, definitely 5 star today
Best place very good service
We stayed at Rydges Wellington airport on 13 Oct 2019 to minimize the hassle of an early morning flight.
The hotel location is brilliant and amenities, decor etc. are world class. The experience was dampened for us by the bed - specifically the deep, incompressible pillows.
We couldn't sleep on them; the staff brought "thinner" replacements that were also neck-wrenchingly fat. We ended up rolling makeshift ones out of our clothing.
With a poor night's sleep, the Rydges was not the traveller's tactical masterstroke we had envisaged.
P.S. My complaint to the front office manager was well received and he committed to "arranging a variety of pillow options".
The best hotel experience I have ever had and so handy to the departure lounge! Staff couldn't have done more for me. Try the breakfast! Great
Booked a day room for 4 and the rate was sooo cheap. Dropped my rental off at Apex and walked back to Rydges only took about 5 minutes. You are practically in the airport and close to all the food and shops there. Lovely room and staff.
So de-stressing to overnight before a morning flight out. Very very quiet due to careful building technology. Live the free parking that came with it. My meal this time seemed overpriced for its quality and part of the meal wasn't hot.
Nice fitout - came up for a test of there WOAP burger before flying home - looked great. Waited 30 mins and they cooked a standard cheese burger super disappoint. We no time to replace. Was not that busy to make that mistake.
I stayed there early July
I left behind two jackets rang the staff within hour two
let know what happened left a number no response.
Later email sent no response. Called in person could not find them left phone and email again no response
Wrote to manager no response.
If you have a problem don't expect in action you would expect a response by Hotel of Rydges reputation
Efficient and respectful attentiveness at reception checkin.
Clean room with modern furniture. Comfortable bed.
Relaxing atmosphere. Slept soundly.
queues at checkin, rooms were nice, location is fabulous!!! it was quiet as well.
Bit noisy beds were comfortable.
Food was ok but took ages for dessert to show up.
Nice friendly staff, nice room, comfortable bed. Nice view of the airport and they validate your parking ticket with is a bonus. Food abit pricy but I enjoyed my stay
The environment was very nice neat and clean. 5/5 for this.
The bed though wasn’t that comfortable it felt like we were rolling out of bed, though it was king size. 3/5 for comfort
Overall pleasant stay.
Fantastic place to stay before an early morning flight or getting in on a late flight. Large modern rooms with great views of airport. Awesome restaurant too.
Great hotel when travelling from the airport early in the morning. Moderne, clean and really quiet.
Look its a good hotel, dont get me wrong. But. Those dark rooms. Depressing. A little bit of colour? Its all black grey, brown. Too much. Otherwise great.
Great grab 1 deal but another $10 would of been better deal to cover side of vegetables and sparkling wine drink option. Service was quick and food lovely. Parking expensive $15 for 1 hour
I organized a meeting for my team here. Easy to work with, responsive, good pricing, offered plenty of food, location was perfect given my team are from all around NZ. Well done Rydges Wgtn! We will come again.
Nice and comfy, super handy to the airport terminal for early flights. Wish the room had something to heat food. Otherwise really nice.
Very convenient, right in the airport. Staff was friendly at reception. I would stay there again. Loved the convenience of getting off my flight and not having to leave the airport.
Pillows. They're not something you think of much until you have the displeasure of trying to sleep on a bad one. So, imagine an inflatable pool toy wrapped in a pillow case... this is pretty much what the pillows are like at this hotel. Worst sleep ever. Sort out the pillows Rydges!!! Whoever is your Chief Pillow Officer needs to be fired.
Great place to stay before that early morning flight. Super conveniently located. Nice food, modern, clean, tastefully appointed accommodation.
Love the fact they have day stay for people with little ones this is great ..especially if your time between flights is anywhere between 5 and 7 hours.rooms very comfortable and staff great
Great place but room didn't get made up on request and never got towels . Got my own off trolley instead.
Great location just walk diwn stairs and into the airport, great accommodation super comfortable with great views of the airport and ocean, food was perfect and very well priced, parking easy and value for money
Great location and modern rooms. Unfortunately kitchen closed at 9.30 on a Friday and staff couldn't wait to take our orders and get us out so they could go home
Great location and nicely appointed rooms. Sadly the meal in the restaurant was terrible....the waiter apologised and gave us a discount but won't go there again.
Very handy location for a stay. Great food and accom facilities. Surprisingly quiet of airport noise due to the glazing
Very friendly and helpful staff! Extremely convenient if you are to checkin at the airport. The both are located at the same building. Just take 2 minutes from hotel reception to the departure hall.
Nice modern room good layout bed and couch great selection of movies good view of the airport runway...no buffet breakfast due to covid but nice choices off menu.. Had a good meal in restaurant...
Gorgeous hotel. Very tasteful. Lovely staff and the breakfast was top notch... For one the scrambled eggs weren't a runny abomination.
Convenient hotel right at the terminal.
Also not far to walk to restaurants near the airport (but not in the terminal)
Perfect place to stay when flying in or out of Wellington. Great staff & service. Very clean spacious rooms. Easily 5⭐
Wellington airport hotel recently opened. Very clean and excellent place to stay. Entrance is linked to the airport so it’s very convenient to those travelling. Excellent 24 hour service.
Great room, comfortable bed and excellent location. Even though it's right at the airport I barely heard any plain noise at all.
Great stay, comfy bed and super handy for an early flight
Very nice hotel with good size rooms. Ideal location before a flight out. Great value
If you want a hotel at the airport - this is for you. Restaurant seems very popular and rooms are appropriately attired.
Great place to stay, can see the runway from my room, good for plane spotters. WLG is a good restaurant too, steak cooked to perfection
Great service, so friendly and food is delicious! So quiet, room is neat and this location is one of a kind!!
One of the best in Wellington we have stayed in! Amazing views os the runway and free parking at the airport.. thanks team ;)
Great location when flying in late, nice rooms and friendly staff.
Great room and clean and neat.
Excellent location, great value for money and exceptional staff.
A very good property.Excellent staff.Seamless check in etc.The restaurant excellent.Had a wonderful fillet steak for my evening meal and full breakfast very good.Foos pricing very good and wait staff caring.Look forward to another stay.
We went to the restaurant upstairs. It's was average. The staff were more interested in watching the cricket than serving drinks and food.
Very nice rooms, clean and well decorated. Lack of desk was a bit baffling. BRILLIANT location. Good restaurant.
Hotel is fine, but basic and already a little dated/in need of repair. Checkin staff was very friendly.
Whiskey Lima Golf buffet breakfast was great. Will definitely be back
I stayed here while attending a family function. It was absolutely amazing and do quiet 🤫
The staff were very helpful too.
I booked incorrect date but staff still went above and beyond to help us out. Beds are comfy and room was beautiful 😍
free upgraded room on check in. top job
awesome room service and restaurant/bar exceptional.
The room was clean and new looking I particularly liked the rain head in the shower. The food and service at the restaurant and hotel was great.
Whisper quiet room overlooking the airport. Aircon was running a bit warm but otherwise a comfortable stay tended by pleasant people
Was a very lovely stay. Bed very comfortable and a spotless clean room. Would highly recommend to all.
Super comfy bed, total light blocking curtains and really clean. Loved staying here and would definitley stay again!
A nice retreat whilst at the airport. Food was good in the restaurant. Would gladly go back. Service was good.
Great to come to Wellington for a conference and get off plane and go to conference centre and hotel in same complex.
Building nearly new. Nice hotel rooms .
No room service menu provided in room and bathroom had a brown run mark down the outside of the toilet bowl, white tiles looked like they hadn't been cleaned as brown marks on the wall and white run marks on bathroom door.
Only stayed 1 night, but the room was great. Comfortable, quiet.
Very comfortable. Friendly staff.Great gym facilities and so easy to access flight check in.
Stayed for only a few hrs. Exceptional. Also cheap given Covid. Next to airport. So can’t complain. No bar though in the room..
Staff are amazing, the bed are big and comfortable the rooms are stunning great facilities available I recommend highly
Great place to stay before a very early flight.
Loved it. Amazing location, Right in the airport. Great after an international flight!
Saved getting up early to battle traffic and risk getting to the airport on time. Could watch the plane action of the airport but could barely here anything; excellent glazing.
So convenient for transit into Blenheim, well done, thank you Rydges for looking after me… great staff/ service.. well done.
Good place to stay, I do recommend, they give you very very little information though when you arrive, but once you figure out out it's ok.
The staff are lovely, the restaurants food is beautifully balanced, and the place is beautiful! Would definitely be stranded due to weather again
Absolutely amazing service and gorgeous hotel! Perfect location for the airport, I would 100% recommend if travelling!!
Food and accom really good but service levels below par despite politeness of staff. Took ages to book in... staff appear a little inexperienced but did try hard
Loved my stay here. Close to the airport. Surprisingly quiet
It's a really nice place for a Conference a big hotel that you can access from the airport terminal well signposted
Very nice new well set out rooms. Super comfy bed. Limited noise.
Overnight so service not applicable. Staff we do counter were obliging
Wonderful ambience ... love the monochrome themes🙂 Inspired Photos by talented Photographer... time s Four!
A special place... Go Wellington!
Very handy to airport.
The room was absolutely perfect and stylish.
Loved it
Loved it. Helpful friendly staff. Room and bed was everything we wanted.
No airport spund despite location. Good food, good sleep Loved the short walk to the airport.
So handy to airport. Very convenient for us to stay for few days to cover meetings and catching up with friends.
Awesome place to stay especially with an early flight. Loved the bathroom
My favourite hotel especially for convenience.its right in the airport.i had a 6.30am flight
Great place to stay for a early morning flight, very convenient, inside walk to the departures
Very accomadating after our plane had mechanical problems. Enjoyed the hospitality
Great Service and handy to the airport, nice clean rooms as well.
Beautiful rooms and the restaurant was amazing.
needed a bed set up for 5 year old it was done within 10 mins
For early morning departures or late evening arrival, staying at the Rydges, takes the stress out of the equation.
Covers all the basics of a hotel well. Design of bathrooms are an the compact side of things
Easy check in right inside the airport. Room is really nice, spacious, comfy.
once you arrive at the airport you don't have to go anywhere else there's a restaurant and bar near reception, access to rooms via secure lift
Reception on level two and no bell boy, hard with bags and a toddler!
Very nice and friendly service
The room is spacious, the facilities are new, and there is a special passage to check in, so you don't have to go out, which is very convenient. In addition to slippers, other toiletries can be collected from the service desk. The check-out procedure is simple. It is worth recommending for passengers who transfer early in the morning👍🏻
It is clean and quiet, the location is convenient, very close to the airport, and the service attitude is also very good. It is recommended to travelers who want to board a plane in the early morning. The hotel and the airport are only a minute's walk away, the entire journey is covered, there are restaurants and shops, and the environment is comfortable.
Very good service, comfortable room, complete breakfast and the convenience of just going up one floor in the airport itself.
Very nice hotel and excellent service
Wellington Airport still in Lord of the Rings mode
The food will be very good 😛
I love it 🥰
Everything excellent
Great location inside Wellington airport. Especially convenient for late arrival flights. We were offered a late checkout due to our late arrival, which was much appreciated. Staff were accommodating & professional. Rooms were clean & compact with good runway or water views.
Nice room and friendly staff very helpful so good if going on a flight and go stay on level 5 for the best views!
So good getting off the plane & out of custom's to walk around a couple of corners & we were there, magic. Thank you.
Stayed for 5, nights, Really great & quite. Would differently recommend ,😄👍👍
Conveniently located in the airport. Check in some time, probably because there was a flight change. Overall good stay.
Convenient for early flights but it was a poor experience staying here. The corridors were dirty, room was clean but bathroom amenities were empty. Too early in the morning to call for more.
Excellent hotel at the airport, very convenient!
Trip.com refuse to apply price match, just by use policy which is in traditional Chinese and should apply in HK not in NZ.
Great service, located in airport. Perfect for overnight rest when traveling
For the breakfast buffet, the quality of food is great, but the choice are the minimal amount. Service of counter is ok.
Small but tidy room, with all that a short stay requires. Clean, tidy bathroom with pleasant toiletries supplied. Large, open cafe/dining area with direct access to main concourse of airport terminal building. Friendly, helpful staff.
Very convenient for overnight stay before an early flight. Comfortable rooms and good food in the restaurant.
Great experience both times I've stayed at Rydges Airport hotel
The location to catch a flight the next day is brutal, it has a bar that we use for dinner, it closes early but hey, it is a good option, the beds are very comfortable, the bathroom is great and the room is huge.
You can't hear the planes at all
酒店非常適合轉機,房間舒適,乾淨,很容易方便找到。最好提前預定,感覺這一次去住的人多了很多。沒有體驗酒店的美食,
