S.We stayed in the two bedroom apartment when visiting my father in law in hospital. The place was clean and the service was excellent. Our apartment was at the back of the building and there was no traffic noise. I would definitely stay here again. It was reasonably priced and definitely a nice place to stay.

R.My husband and I stayed for two nights in room 201 for a scheduled hospital procedure. The room was lovely and warm when we arrived, and the manager was very helpful and lovely to deal with. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, the housekeeping staff are top level and the facilities clean and wonderfully kept. Thank you for such a lovely stay.

C.Stayed for the weekend in Wellington. This motel is a gem! A 5 minute drive ($10 Uber ride) to town. Hosts are lovely and very helpful. The motel was everything I needed, 2 bedroom unit, with lounge and kitchenette. Spa bath a bonus. Was clean and tidy, not cluttered, serviced each day with plenty of towels at a very reasonable price. Heat pump had us nice and cozy quickly. Will definitely be coming back. A++

The hotel itself is close to all ammenities-supermarket, shopping and public transport.

M.Very accommodating owners. Unit is well equipped with stove top, microwave, spa bath and a lovely large shower with fantastic water pressure. Separate bedroom with 2 beds.

Spacious rooms and bathrooms, great amenities, comfortable beds and pillows. Ideally situated close to the hospital and a supermarket.

D.The women who works the front counter here not sure she may be the owner is what makes this place, my mother stayed here for almost 3 weeks when my father was in hospital across the road and this woman took incredible care of her. Juggling things so mum didn't have to keep changing rooms. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who asks.

J.WE recently had need to stay at Southgate due to its proximity to the Hospital. Can recommend you stay with Tim and Felicity when visiting Wellington for any reason. The motel has an excellent location being close to restaurants and the shopping centre of Newtown. Also great for access to the city, via the bus which passes the front gate. Much more economical than staying in the city plus managers that still believe in the word "Hospitality" Looking forward to returning.
G.Beautiful Motel. Cute large room with a hot tub in the bathroom. Tv with a couch in the personal living room and my family room had with 4 beds, 2 in my father's and one for me and my sister in another room. huge mirror and dining table in the lounge and electronic blankets in each bed with wifi and a breakfast you can buy delivered to your room. Very cheap considering all the food you get. This place is perfect for a vacation, wether it's family or business related. Don't forgot the hot tub!! That was so relaxing.

L.Comfortable bed!! Spa bath in my unit! Ample hot water, heat pump, lots of cutlery and crockery (but no doshwasher). I did hear a few ambulances in the early evening and one helicopter going to the hospital across the road but it didn't interrupt my sleep. Continental or cooked breakfast, instant coffee, milk tea, hot chocolate provided with a plunger too if you want to buy ground coffee and filters. Supermarket is 5 mins walk away and there are plenty of inexpensive restaurants nearby, especially the Cafe Laz Turkish Kebab restaurant.
S.Location perfect, 2bdrm apartment had everything we needed, really clean, loved the beds very comfortable, parking on site, walking distance into Newtown, countdown, the only, downfall was that I didn't get around to using the spa, maybe next time aye... Hosts were really friendly and accommodating... Will definitely recommend to family and friends

J.Dave and Natalie were the most accommodating of any place I've stayed anywhere in the world. Our family came in from New Zealand, Australia, the US & Singapore due to a family emergency and they shifted us to appropriately sized rooms and allowed us to split the bill with varying arrival and departure dates etc. Very friendly and empathetic to our situation. A++++
