The room was quiet and comfortable and very clean absolutely superb location. We were just using it as a transit on our journey but next time we may make it the destination. It is a fantastic location right in town and it had free parking. We were able to let ourselves in late at night off the Ferry which was really helpful for tired travellers. The character of the place alone was amazing, these really cute little cottages. Thanks guys!

Wonderful stay. The cottages are so adorable and very well kitted out. I thought it would be quite a loud area since it's so central, but it couldn't have been quieter. The entire place was clean and tidy, and the bed was really comfy. I adore that it's dog friendly, with free city centre parking. Would highly recommend.

We LOVED this cottage - what a find!! We've been living in Wellington for years and never knew about it, so now, returning as visitors, we were absolutely stoked - great facilities, vibe, and location for the price. Actually surprisingly quiet too, considering the main road behind the cottage. Would recommend for someone wanting to be super central, but have a cosy feel and autonomy to make their own food.

We stayed at City Cottages for 3 weeks whilst relocating to Wellington. The location is excellent, right on Cuba Street and walking distance to everything you could need in the CBD. The cottages are homely and well equipped for a long or short stay and tastefully decorated. Dean couldn't be more helpful and delightful as a host. Highly recommend a stay here.

Many thanks for the use of your lovely historic cottage. We so enjoyed our stay there and in Wellington. The location was fantastic, we just parked the car and walked everywhere! Regarding any suggestions...maybe a hand towel and bath mat would be great. And maybe some salt and pepper. Otherwise just perfect! We will be returning hopefully before the end of the year or early next year and rent both units for friends to join us. I think I read the reviews on every accommodation option in Wellington prior to booking a night at the cottages and I am glad I did! This place did not dissapoint. It is in a fantastic location tucked just off Cuba Street, noise wasn't an issue and car parking was a bonus. The cottage itself was lovely and had everything you could want, including nespresso coffee. Adding a roll away bed for our 3 year old wasn't an issue and didn't cost any extra :) We will definitely be staying here again!

Great location...close to town and lots of restaurants. Everything you need and lovely and warm. Perfect for a city break.

We rented one of the Wellington City Cottages for our son and his girlfriend who were visiting us in Wellington for a few days. They loved the accommodation and we liked what we saw when we checked it out. Great location and good facilities.

Visited with friends for Wearable Arts. Great friendly service, easy access, location great for shopping and eating. Recommend families, couples or friends stay as numbers flexible. Roomy and very comfortable.
