C. M.Hubby and I stayed here for one night over the Christmas break and would definitely recommend it to others. Such a lovely, helpful host and an immaculately clean and well appointed room. On the main shopping street of Westport and handy to local tourist spots. A great stay!
N. M.We ended up here after opting out of a fairly gross room down the road. The room was quiet, clean, and had a great blackout curtain. Absolutely zero complaints, would definitely stay again when passing through Westport.
b. n.The hotel is very nice and clean. Good access to the main road. The staff are very nice and friendly. It can be worth giving a rating of 5 stars as well. But I'm a bit disappointed with the milk they have given, which is half of that small bottle. The first motel I received had less quantity. At least 300ML bottle is standard. I didn't feel comfortable asking. We got the room next to the office and a bit uncomfortable people walking around when in the washroom if we kept the window open.
There are lots of rules and conditions to read in the book compared with many other motels😕. And lots of information around the places and cafes😊.
The shower and toiletries are very good and I recommend staying here. There is lots of parking and the motel is very next to the road.

M. A.I have stayed here over many months (and in many different units) while on a short-term role in Westport. The motels are conveniently located on the main road, just a 5-minute walk from the town center and even closer to the supermarket. The units are clean, well-maintained, and well-presented, though they are starting to show their age.
The cooking facilities vary: most units have portable hot plates and electric frypans, while others have built-in options. However, the kitchen bench only has power points on one side, making it a bit challenging to juggle appliances. The TV is a good size, and it was easy to attach HDMI cables to stream from my laptop. The bathroom is spacious, with everything you need and a good shower.
Service has been consistently friendly (thank you Marilyn and Rachael), helpful, and prompt throughout my stay. Any issues raised were dealt with quickly.
One downside of the location (which is true for most Westport motels on or near Palmerston Street) is the noise from early morning trucks. This might not be a problem for city dwellers but could be an issue for others.
If I am lucky enough to get further work in Westport, I will stay there again withouit question.
B. P.The Bella Vista Motel in Westport NZ is a wonderful place to stay.
It is spotlessly clean, the room service was excellent with clean towels etc for our second day.
It was safe and secure and in an excellent location handy to town.
We have stayed here before and we have always had the same experience.

W. A.Bella Vista Motel Westport is a gem of accommodation and service. The friendly staff makes you feel right at home, and their rooms are practical, warm, and comfortable. We loved our stay in this place and will return again.
R. N.I could not find parking as some guests had two cars or more and could park in anywhere they liked. If I had been told before I booked, that parking would have been a problem, it would have helped me decide if I wanted to stay there. It was therefore stressful and found it hard to enjoy my dinner with friends wondering when I get back where do I park my car.

In all my travels around NZ over the past 40+ years I have never stayed in a Bella Vista Motel and have heard many varying reports about them. ||Some people said the units were very small, but the unit I stayed in was very spacious. I got what seemed to be the last available motel unit in Westport that evening so I ended up with a one bedroom unit.||Marilyn the owner was a great host who had owned the motel for almost 30 years. I would definitely stay their again.

V......but had everything we needed. Disabled access room 1 which caused problems with 2 able bodied tallish people because of low siting of kitchen wall cabinets! Friendly welcome, lots of useful info about local eateries - not much on a Monday night. Warm and comfy.

L. B.Upstairs room, so you need to be able to manage stairs with your luggage. The room was clean and very well supplied with all facilities, but with the large bed was very small and difficult to find where to put luggage. Good continental breakfast available, motel easy to find and convenient to everything.

The room was not made over for the second day and complimentary product were not replaced, however, I did ask for more coffee and received two coffee capsules. Having said that the motel was ideally situated for dinning out with the Chargill within walking distance.

Our rooms were clean, had all the amenities we needed and had luxurious bathrooms for a motel!! We were travelling with our mums and we were able to be close together during our stay. R. M.No view! but comfortable very clean studio unit. Tricky access to plates cups etc these were under a small bench dont stay in this unit if you have wonky knees! very small unit. TV position was high you had to look up.Brillant coffee machine real bonus. I would recommend booking a larger unit. Studio adequate for 1 night.

Edit: apparently internet is unlimited. Just needed to go back and ask for more. Changing up to five stars for that and the management reading and responding to reviews. That's good customer service.
