M.We really enjoyed our stay when we had a weekend family break in Nov 2020. We were planning on returning but due to the vaccination pass requirement to stay will definitely not be returning. The reason I am giving the five star review is with regards to the original visit.

Beautifully clean big spacious rooms with the units well appointed. Easy parking and right in the city making it easy to walk to restaurants, cafes, galleries, museums and shops and the famous Wanganui River.
We definitely give this 10 out of 10.

E.Very friendly welcome and room super clean and well presented. Cooking facilities were more than adequate and cooking utensils supplied were thoughtful. From the block out curtaining to the comfortable beds the stay was stress less. Being located centrally to all the main shopping venues was just fantastic.
M.Nice, clean, quiet spacious with adequate cooking and sleeping facilities. Handy for local amenities, shopping etc.
Would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.
Only downfall was the shower, took 15 minutes to have a 4-5 minute wash.

C.Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances with a health issue we had to cancel our 2 day booking on the morning of our stay . We had empathetic dealings during 2 phone calls and very pleased that our cancellation fee was waived. We are looking forward to rebooking and visiting at a later date.
S.My wife and I stayed for two nights on the 26th & 27th November. The motel unit was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The motel was full but there wasn't a sound from the adjoining units. Parking was right outside the door and this particular unit had two parking spaces. The kitchenette was well equip and we were given milk when we booked in which saved us trudges to the shops for it. It is located right by the shops and we walked around a number of the local attractions leaving the car at the motel which was great. The host Mandy, Paul and Beckham ( the Golden Retriever) are delightful and couldn't do enough for us. We will be staying there again very soon.

P.This is a nice self-contained fully furnished one bedroom unit in a centrally located spot in Wanganui.
However the roof tiles of unit 10 does annoyingly creak at nights, when they are apparently cooling down.

M.Great value. Really enjoyed our stay. Motel looks recently refurbished, very clean & beds were SO comfy!!! I was even greated by name when I checked out next day. Made me feel very special😁.I have paid a lot more & received a lot less in other parts if the country before so this was a very welcome change! Highly recommended
P.Nice quiet place.
Since it was winter it was nice having heating in the ceiling, however this turned off past way through the night and it got cold inside the unit. We didn't realise what there were additional heaters in the place. As you go to bed plug them in to keep the place warm.
J.Clean, plenty space , comfy bed and excellent service from reception. The $9pp breakfast was neatly more than we could eat! Very easy walk to numerous eating places. Service station handy too. We were in a large-ish truck and parking was no bother. Loved it all.
B.Excellent place to stay. Spotlessly clean with the friendliest staff. Located just off the main street & only minutes to local eateries & main street shopping precinct. Three supermarkets within close proximity to each other (Pak n Save, New World & Countdown) are just down the road if you want to stock up on items. Have booked again for November this year. I easily recommend this motel.
t.This is our go to accommodation in Wanganui. Always clean and tidy. The owners are lovely. Close to the main st. Great fish and chip shop around the corner within walking distance.

O.Just stayed for the one night on our way to Rotarua check in was a breeze the room was clean, toilet and shower was clean and warm, no hearing other than a small portable one which surprising after an hour heated the room to a comfortable temperature. Great value for the price close to all shops and amenities!

Z.Nice size room, decent internet, clean bathroom, lots of beds although I only needed the one. My only complaint would be that it was very cold and not enough blankets. Other than that it was good.
