C.We booked out the whole lodge for three nights for a surprise getaway celebrating my Mum’s 70th birthday. Ann and Fiona were excellent hosts and made the whole experience quite a pleasure. Everything was superb from catering and help planning through to local knowledge and of course the beautiful accommodation and setting. A well deserved 5 stars. Thank you.
B.We had a wonderful family birthday weekend away here, booking out all the accommodation. Setting is tranquil and spacious. The lodge a perfect winter getaway. Hosts Fiona and Anne were outstanding and made it a very special time for us all. We’ll be back. Maybe next time sneak away on our own! Blair and Maureen

Must go on there short Bush walk real treat to lose yourself ! The lodge itself classic beautiful villa ( loved bar and stone fireplace plus combination comfort and history nice combination !

K.If you need to get away from life for a while, this is the perfect place, its quiet, remote without being too far away, the hosts are the nicest accommodating ladies who will go the extra mile for you. Great food, great stories, great local knowledge.
It's an easy drive to the lodge, excellent greeting. Beaches, forests, kauri, birds abound.

R.I was part of a support crew for 9 cyclists doing the Northern Bike circuit. To say the weather was bad that day is an understatement. We came up to the lodge and thought we would wait for the guys in the car park opposite. I said to Dave, I'll go and see if we can shelter on the deck of the lodge.... Well long story short, next they are making us soup and hot drinks, allowing the guys to warm in front of the heater. We spent a few hours there and looked around the property. This is a beautiful place to visit and stay. Ann and crew are some of the friendliest people you will meet.
R.Ian and Fran are stunning hosts - catering superbly to the quirky needs of each of us with grace and warmth - and a smile always. The sleeping quarters are uniquely luxurious and comfortable and the food is out of this world. Each meal was an experience to savour and draw out as long as possible. Ours was a family gathering - where we could all relax, enjoy each others company and create wonderful memories - thanks to Ian and Fran and this beautiful historic lodge.
W.Thankyou to the Host Ian and Fran...totally was blown away by this Luxury Accommodation in the middle of know where good to recharge and take the break that I needed with good Company .Fantastic Food so Delicious to die for. Slept like a baby in the Massive Bed great time recommend this place to all my friends and family great place for Family Gatherings

A group of 14 people stayed at the hotel for 4 days and 3 nights and I highly recommend this hotel. The environment is beautifully maintained in the retro garden, the main meal and dessert service are superb, and there is a 24-hour open-air spa. The most important thing is that the two hosts, Ann and Fiona, are warm, attentive and hospitable, the best boutique hotel in New Zealand. Will definitely come again next time.

一行14人在旅店住了4天三夜，非常推荐这家酒店。环境复古花园打理的很美，主餐甜点服务都超级赞，还有24小时的露天Spa。最重要的是两位主人Ann还有Fiona热情细心好客，纽西兰最棒的boutique hotel。下次一定还会再来。
