j.Absolutely loved our stay here for 1 night in feb 2021. We came in as 5 with 3 only wanting to pay bare minimum so we were going to all share one room. When the manager heard about our full situation and story he came back to us and had given my partner and i another room to make us much more comfortable and relaxed with the big king bed and spa bath.
We will definitely be back here because the room is great quality, clean and presented great. But the customer care and real genuine team is what will have us back!
Absolutely recommend. Love how the supermarket is straight across the road too so can nip over get some salmon and yum cheese and have cafe quality bagels without paying the price.

a.We stayed for one night, the room was spotless and bedding was so clean and enjoyable. Our family enjoyed and love it. We difinatly recommend and we will stay again when we coming back . I have to say the staff in the office was amazing and so helpfull.

T.We had a great breakfast delivered to the room the next morning with a cheery greeting and 'take your time no need to rush away. Scrupulously clean and the bed is very comfortable. Some road noise (we live in the country so not used to any noise at all) but didn't bother us. Reception was outstanding.
H.I would say this is the beat motel we had out of the 4 hotels we stayed at on our holiday around the South Island. Location was perfect, less than 5 minutes walk to the supermarket and various fast food restaurants. Staff were very friendly and offered to show us to our room and help with our luggage.
The room we had was beautifully clean and very modern, amazing shower and pressure that didn’t go hot and cold! Very comfortable big bed. We definitely recommend this motel and will be coming back again! Thank you guys keep it up

A bit far from town, but there was a bus stop just outside, so I was able to get around without my car
D.Friendly staff, location is a bit away from main centre of the city, but really close to supermarket and fast food. Some restaurants within walking distance have charge back to the room. Had a meal at the rope and twine and it was below average for a bar meal. Room was nice and clean, I slept well.

D.Very accommodating after we found ourselves without our motorhome for the night. Very clean warm and all the necessities for making your own breakfast and a light dinner. Close to a supermarket and wild bean.
S.Hotel just off main road. About 8 minutes to town. Room smaller than looked in photos. Room 7 contains 2 twin beds, 2 very uncomfortable black chairs, and 2 dining room chairs that you would have to move 1 bed to both sit at a tiny odd shaped table. Comes with tv, wifi small fridge, toaster and plates etc. You will need to wash dishes in the bathroom sink and use the hand pump soap to wash with. Bathroom of a good size. Shower curtain in a big shower, with great pressure. No need to duck to wash body. Towels on a wire trolley that has rust and not very nice. A shelf would be better. Both greeters were pleasant and helped with advice on where to visit.
G.I had an incredibly relaxing stay here. Its central location made it ideal for both popular destinations (tunnel beach, albatross colony, and penguins) and the excellent restaurants in town center. The manager was very kind and welcoming and made sure I was well taken care of. Thanks Sue!!
T.Always smiling and taking that extra care factor to make guests feel like they're always welcome. Easy walks are possible from the hotel itself. A coastal walking track around the gorgeous Tokoriki Island would be awesome. Area where the hotel is located is good for local shopping. The outdoor showers were a real highlight.

F.The Auckland Blue Storm Ice Hockey team stranded yesterday as all flights are cancelled after playing in the U14 international ice hockey tournament. Justin the manager did an awesome job and give us an extra mile of service which was outstanding and helped to get the stress down and team feel comfortable. T.Highly recommended holiday spot to really get away and relax with that added bit of luxury. You are within walking distance to just about anything you could want to do. There is certainly plenty to do at Tokoriki Island Resort. There are shops just outside the hotel. A rain shower was a nice touch.
