Very clean facilities with lots of showers, kitchen space. Close to town and Caroline Bay beach (easy walk for adults, needed to drive for my two kids under 7). Good access to Pac n Save (10 min walk). We were hoping for a pool, but none at this one. Friendly staff.

What a wonderful stay we had. The staff were professional and friendly, the room was ultra clean and cozy, the campground is well laid out and welcoming. All in all a great experience, would definitely stay again. A hidden gem in Timaru.

Comfortable, spacious, very clean, well provided for with everything you need. Friendly staff, quiet pleasant park surroundings. Top end budget accomodation at a very good price. I recommend it!

We love this Top 10. My wife stays here every week and I bring the kids here for our holidays. We wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else while in Timaru. The owners are awesome and there is plenty for the kids to do including a cloud/jumping pillow. Why would anyone go to a hotel/motel when this place is so close to town and you don't make as many friends segregated in tiny motel rooms.

We stayed at this holiday park for a night as we were heading down to Dunedin from Christchurch & thought we would stop off on the way to see different towns & what they had to offer! The holiday park was right in the middle of town which wasn't that bad to be honest. The facilities were great Especially the kitchen & the bathrooms. Very modern & clean. Loved the shower room which had 3 showers & 3 toilets and was warm inside as they heating was always on to keep you warm after your shower. The manager was very helpful & lovely. Definitely would stay again for longer & will Highly recommend. Well done guys :)

Quiet holiday park, close to city center. Modern, clean ammenities. Park is set amongst nice gardens and mature trees. Very good wheelchair access and facilities. Reasonably priced. Large Pak and Save supermarket and adjacent Mall approx 7 mins walking distance from holiday park. Short drive to Caroline Bay which is a good sandy swimming beach.

Just had my 4th stay in their fantastic Ensuite Studio. Absolutely perfect set-up. Always uber clean, with all those little details thought through. I accidentally slept in after a late night filming a wedding and the cleaning staff were so kind!

Clean and tidy motel unit we stayed in the family unit which had queen bed in main room and seperate room with 2 sets of bunks. We were able ro fit a portacot in beside our bed for the baby. Had bathroom and kitchenette. Play ground for kids. Was quite with nice trees for privacy.

We had a great little cabin. Very clean ad tidy. The staff were very welcoming upon our arrival especially as we didn't pre book. We will stay here again.

We stayed at one of the studio motels." Spotless clean," very comfortable, and such a very Quite camp specially at night. Great people that own it", very friendly and helpful. Have rebooked for Xmas. Cheers Clive.

Booked a cabin for the night everything was spotless and well cared for. Staff were top notch and knowledgeable. Shower was hot and I was delighted to find it was free no coins or time limits attached. The facilities are so clean and well carefree couldn’t fault it. Would definitely stay here again on my way through to ChCh. Thank you for your hospitality it made a difference 😀

Visited a friend here & was very impressed with the facilities & everyone we spoke to spoke highly of the camping ground.

Clean & modern. Lovely landscape and stout with plenty of trees and shade. Super friendly.

Love the facilities at this top10, had a really good shower, kids loved the tv room and playground, next time will go out on the go carts as they looked really cool, was too cold this time round. Bmcabins were perfect n we had such good sleeps

We love top 10 camp grounds. The playgrounds are great for the children and everything is so close to each other. The tent sites were spacious for tent and vehicle. Kitchens facilities were adequate. Bathrooms were big enough for the camp ground. Two lots on other sides of ground - same for kitchens too. The jumping pillow was VERY popular.

Dropped in unannounced wanting overnight accommodation, the receptionist was welcoming, efficient, helpful and friendly, and our cabin was clean, warm. Just what we wanted! Thank you.

Top 10 Timaru actually should be Top it's definitely more than a 10! Outstanding friendly services and the facilities are in pristine order. Hands down from others visited. Great kitchens which are well supplied, and laundry area clean and tidy. The staff Tops it off while they are fantastic, genuine, and down to earth Southern hospitality people. Highly recommend!!!

Young lady at reception was so helpful. Love the under floor heating in showers and toilets. Traveled and stayed at alot of Top 10 holiday camps down South while on holiday. This one is by far the best. Very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay if we ever come back South again.

Very clean kitchen, toilets and showers. The heated tv room was a very nice extra to have on a cold night. But the staff is what makes this place so amazing. I forgot my towels and some other stuff, but only realized it when I arrived in Dunedin. They were so very kind to send them to me. It's very much appreciated. Thank you!!

What a spot, well set out self contained cabins for family of four plus plenty of things to keep the kids busy. Great service, clean, tidy and lots to do. Will be back if staying in Timaru again.

lovely staff, the neighbors behind ruined the whole experience. VERY loud metal and dubstep music untill early hours of the morning. filing noise complaints didnt work, it's an awesome camp ground with lovely staff but not any good to me if i cant sleep!

Excellent little park, great facilities, super clean and well organised. Short walk to P&S for supply’s. Laundry, kitchen and bathrooms all of a high standard. Would stay here again.

Super impressed. Great customer service from the friendly owner operators. I have difficulty walking so really appreciated being offered a site near the facilities and being asked if l was ok with stairs. It was SO refreshing not to have to ask or explain why. Thanks Gordon. Also given a recommendation for a great local restaurant and a discount voucher to use there. There's lots of established landscaping and the sites point in different directions so feel private. It's obvious that a lot of care and attention to detail has gone into this campground. Good kitchen facilities and some equipment provided too. Lots of space to cook, clean and eat and the plants and flowers add a nice homely touch. The bathrooms were great and, thanks to the dehumidifier were warm and dry. The family bathroom is easily the most well thought out l have encountered and includes a half bath and enough room for parents and kids to manoeuvre easily. Great laundry area with tubs, ironing boards and a comfy couch. Profits from the washing machines go to breast cancer research too, which is fantastic and not something I've seen elsewhere. There were lots of other facilities that l didn't use but that looked great, some of the ride ons for hire looked like fun as did the jumping thing in the children's playground. All the facilities l saw were spotless every time l went to use them despite the campsite being about half full. Really impressive.

Stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment, super cozy, lot's of space. Great playground and bouncy pillow thing for the kids. The location isn't too bad, short walk to restaurants and a pak n' save but you will have to drive to get to town or the beach. The service was excellent, very friendly and helpful staff.

Wowza... the cleanest facilities I've seen anywhere and we have been staying in a new Camp every night for 2 weeks, SO nice. Good playground for the kids and very nice staff. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Excellent camp ground. All facilities you need to tent and all very clean. Heated floor in the bathroom for winter a total winner.

Awesome place to stay. Great amenities, close to a supermarket. Walking distance to Caroline Bay. We drove into town but you could walk, about a half hour there

If u need to stay in Timaru u can find what you are looking for here. A great variety of accommodation. If u have small children the play area is excellent. I loved it. Will be back!!.

Absolutely loved our stay here. Staff so friendly and helpful, especially maddy, a joy to talk to. Great accommodation, great facilities, brilliant kitchen and free hot showers, Everything is modern and extremely clean. The park itself is beautiful and full of colourful flowers, gorgeous trees, playground and a inflatable jumping pillow. Highly recommend staying here. You wont be dissapointed.

Loved every minute of our stay . It was clean and well presented park, would just like to say having a family friendly bathroom and shower was fantastic with our newborn baby. Really this made our trip through the south island so much more enjoyable and convenient. Thank you

Top 10 holiday park is awesome the owners is very nice the cleaners do an awesome job. They are a such kind place to stay at. highly recommended to stay at. I wish i could give more stars then 5.

My husband and I spent some time traveling around the South Island. We only stayed one night in the 4 person cottage. It was very nice, but also small even for just 2 people. Great place to sleep for the night, but if you are wanting space for a family look at the other options they have. The bathrooms and kitten were very nice and clean and they had great resources for around town. The price was great my only regret is we only stayed one night. This is a place I wouldn’t mind staying a few days.

Very well designed camping ground with wonderful clean facilities. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Look forward to returning soon.

What a wonderful clean and tidy camp ,everyone was so helpful and friendly, excellent shower and facilities would definitely come back ,the only thing that could be improved is the deep drain in between 15&16 as a child crash his bike when his front wheel went in ,could also be a trip hazard at night would be an easy fix every thing else perfect .

Nice Holiday Park. Friendly people and Good Facilities.

Turned up around 5.30pm the manager is really friendly & helpful. Lots of areas to park, its clean & well maintained. They have a kitchen, TV room, bathrooms. Room for Camping, Motorhomes, Cars (little units). Older buildings but all clean & tidy.

A great place with good facilities, as in most Top10 parks. Girl at reception was so kind and attentive. Managed to give us some local tips as well. Highly recommended for all campers

Only stayed over night arriving at 11pm after waiting in traffic at an accident. There was a note on the door as to where to go our room lights were on for us. Lovley comfy bed. Have stayed here 3 times now and have used the kitchen and shower block which is always clean. Phone conversation on making reservations very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend you stop here.

Very clean and tidy. Love outlook from kitchen block. Enjoyed sitting on verandah on sitting bench watching the sunset.

Nice campsite. Quiet street. Facilities as clean as home!!! Camp kitchen was excellent. Campsite beautiful soft grass - only downside was a prickly bush nearby! Advice on where to see penguins was spot on! (Free penguin viewing so come to Timaru!). Under $100 for a family of 5 (tent camping) so quite good value.

well appointed and very tidy with loads of accommodation options. Motel units were clean and modern.

This place, with how small it may have been was a beauty of an experience. 5 minute walk from town and 15 from the beach complex, great facilities, and warm rooms. Customer service was the best I'd had in all of a two week road trip, with friendly and helpful direction in a town new to us. Couldn't have been better. Whole lot of churr.

Pleasant quite location & great facilities

Super lovely host on arrival named Nicky who quickly popped us in a campervan spot giving clear instructions for the use of the park with a map and a street map of Timaru city. When asked was helpful in offering up a few suggestions for family dining close by. Facilities clean and tidy and the extra points came from having a hand washing area at the dump station and dish washing detergent in the kitchen. It's the little things 😀

This is our last campside night and we are really happy. Rate here in Timaru was lowest compared to other Top 10 in NZ for powered site. Helpful staff, nice kitchen with outside herbal garden, where we could help ourselves. Nice TV Room with toys for the kids. Playground was small but ok. Bathroom nice too. All great.

Funny and friendly reception. Usual standard expected from top 1 0 chain. Clean an tidy, not so many people using facilities even lots of van parked on site. There are things for kids to do.

Lovely place to stay nice and clean and very quiet we stayed in a self-contained unit which had modern appliances and a modern bathroom and shower and was clean and the bed was lovely to sleep on me and my service dog Jasper were made to feel welcome by the owners and nothing was a problem they allowed me to have a late check out due to my health and were kind and friendly and professional on the phone The park would be a great place to take children it is an awesome playground and a huge inflatable bouncy airbag thing that’s like a giant trampoline if I wasn’t injured I would go on it myself it looks so much fun we will definitely recommend this place to our friends and hope to be back again in the not too distant future. Spotless park, well established and planted. Took the caravan and found the bathroom facilities the best we have found on our travels. Pristine and heated.

We stay here quite a bit when come to Timaru people are lovely to deal with the units are clean and tidy normally the beds are great but last night the bed was bloody awful otherwise we are happy

Was visiting a friend staying the night with her family. My kids joined in with riding the bikes and had fun. We liked what we saw when we arrived.

Good place to stay. Facility's are clean and all in good working order. Warm clean showers, easy to find. Not fare from the town centre.

This site and the staff deserve the top 10 top prize. Immaculately clean, even when Cyclone Gita hit. Gordon a star checking everyone ok and duck taped leaks . Reception staff personality and good humour. Would stay here again any time, even though town not a lot to do. Nice and green too and gravel plots, pretty good drainage, didn't see flooding, despite Gita.

This has by far been the friendlyest most accomataing park we stayed at loads for kids of all ages beautiful clean amenities . Baths and showers . Family rooms. Tents to superb motels we have tried them all

The staf are very understanding and helpful. We had pronlem with our campervan and the staff had let us to use the facilities for an extended hours even after checked out. Great place for families

This place is great for kids and families. There are many facilities including bikes, jumping pillow and herb garden for everyone to use.

(Translated) We were 1 night with our campervan here. By far the cleanest showers and toilet. Thanks a lot! The kitchen was very clean. The showers were big enough and the floor clean (grid). It had enough hoes to hang clothes and cloth on and also a small stool. The campsite operators were very friendly. Free WiFi. I can really recommend this campsite. (Original) Wir waren 1 Nacht mit unserem Campervan hier. Mit Abstand die saubersten Duschen und WC. Vielen Dank! Auch die Küche war sehr sauber. Die Duschen waren ausreichend gross und der Boden sauber (Gitter). Es hatte genügend Hacken um Kleider und Tuch auf zu hängen und auch einen kleinen Hocker. Die Campingbetreiber waren sehr freundlich. Kostenloses WiFi. Dieser Campingplatz kann ich wirklich weiter empfehlen.
