I contacted Future Energy via their contact form and got a callback that same day. A site visit occurred with Sean within a week with a quote provided on the spot. After accepting the quote the installation was performed within 3 weeks.
The installation team of Joey and Ravi called to confirm they were on their way, arrived on time, introduced themselves, confirmed what they were going to do, and did a very tidy and seamless installation finishing off with a performance test and explanation of how to use the system.
Following the installation I received a call from Joy to check everything was running okay, see if I had any questions, and to get feedback on my experience. Overall the whole process was smooth, stress-free and a positive experience.

D.Having had a few companies around to offer a solution for a very hot upstairs to our home, we went with Future Energy, as they offered a ducted solution that was going to satisfy the cooling issue, as well as heating in the winter. The solution also meant we did not have heat pumps on the wall (in loft) as well as no untidy pipework outdoors on the roof. The positioning of the unit outdoors was also placed tidily behind the shed. When the team turned up they hit a few snags but they kept me informed and worked there way through things and we were super happy with the outcome. The cooling of upstairs is incredible and really happy with what they have provided. very professional outfit and would highly recommend.

M.Future Energy installed a ducted & a split system into our home. From the beginning they made us feel comfortable by being professional and discussing our options in a lot of detail with us, including how the overall exterior pipe runs would look. The installation team were fantastic, vacuuming after they finished and overall installation is very neat and tidy, exactly what we wanted. Both systems work exactly as we wanted, we now have a nice cool house for summer and no doubt it will be warmer in winter too.

M.Future energy where professional in all aspects from start to finish and very responsive to all questions and queries unlike the 5 other companies I contacted at the time. We initially meet at the head office, sat down had a beer and discussed the install plan for a ducted system for our brand new house. Come the day of install they guys were in and out within about 5 hours and fully cleaned up after themselves.
I have now employed Future Energy to reinstall a couple of old units and install a couple of new units at my work place too, I would 100% recommend anyone to use them for all your aircon needs.

Right from the first phone call the team at Future energy have been great to deal with. The quoting, scoping and installation process has been smooth and professional all the way. Doing a whole house heat-pump system is an investment to be sure – but they are competitively priced and were careful to provide objective information about the different brands that they stock.
Installation day was easy, and the crew on site were respectful, clean and tidy as well as careful and professional.
This is a company who obviously know that the little details matter, and after consistently good interactions with a number of staff I had total peace of mind.

H.Gavin and his team did a fantastic job of installing our electric vehicle charger. Our house has extremely difficult access to get the wiring from the lower level of the house, down through the floor, and up another level to the garage. G.Future Energy recently installed a ducted heat pump system in the roof cavity of our bungalow. Everyone from the admin team to the installation guys were easy to deal with, very professional and had great communication. We've only used the system for cooling so far, but it works a treat within minutes of switching it on, even with our high stud ceilings!

S.This is the first time I have used Future Energy and would definitely recommend them. I am a property manager and found the whole process of having a heatpump quoted and then installed, very seamless - and tenants advsied the installers were on time and did a great job!
A.Consultation and quote process was quick and painless-their prices were the best out of 3 different quotes.They were honest about their long lead time to installation date of my 2 floor mounted Panasonic heat pumps due to demand (about 6 weeks).I waited my turn-communication with the sales guy who sold me this package was not easy.I had to contact their office directly (I guess he was very busy).Installation day finally came.The team arrived a little late.It was going smoothly until later in the afternoon,when a human error mistake by the lead installer rendered one the floor units unserviceable.Also,the operational unit had a very noisy outside unit-I was NOT happy.From there on I was dealing directly with The Operations Manager,Alastair.The communication via Alastair was very professional and courteous.However,the technician who came to replace my damaged floor unit and investigate the noisy outside unit was NOT.Now I was just angry.My complaints to Alastair were taken seriously and he arranged another team to deal with my dissatisfaction with their supplied products and service.This team was great and professional-explained what they were doing and how it could possibly rectify the noisy outside unit.The recent lockdown levels did add to the overall long rectification time (from late July till early October).The jobs are now "completed",but I am still WARY of the performance and noise levels of the outside units supplied as we use these Panasonic heat pumps going forward.They do have a 5 year warranty-I shall not hesitate to contact Future Energy if either one starts misbehaving.I am sure The Operations Manager,Alastair will not be surprised to hear from me.Overall,just 3 stars to Future Energy for their "recovery" of what could have been a disastrous Customer experience. Just ONE Star to Panasonic for manufacturing such poor quality outside units.

G.Future Energy Auckland and their sales manager Heath Coleman were exceptional to work with. From the assessment phase, where we got clear and impartial advice, and options, it didn't feel like being 'sold' something. Heath gave really good advice for our home specifically. The install date was flexible and within 3 weeks of our confirming we wanted the ducting system.
The installers were incredible punctual, friendly, and professional. Really good communicators and problem solved where to place everything based on their experience and we are so happy we followed their advice. They cleaned up after themselves, tidy throughout the install as well. They didn't stop for the full 7 hours of install.
We are so happy with the system, we have a dry and warm home which is so important to us with our new baby. Our windows havent been wet once, the system is so easy to use, and the ducts are incredibly discreet and quiet. It seems very efficient that 18 degrees is comfortable.

It was a tough location for them to mount the outdoor unit but their no hassle approach made it look easy. Excellent communication from all the team, I can't recommend Future Energy more highly!
E.(1) The Electrician, Gavin is professional, innovative and punctual. Thanks Gavin.
(2) The Installer, Steve was late for about 45mins, broke the Gib board wall while drilling so had to install the indoor unit lower to cover the crack in the wall. He also dropped his tool/drill attachment from a height and broke one of my decorative bricks. Steve used a bigger drain pipe which is less flexible and larger in diameter; when asked he said someone took his flexi drain pipe so he just brought the bigger diameter ones. If he knew he did not have it, then he could have acquired/bought it before coming for installation and not bring the bigger size and less flexi type! Steve was in a rush; copper tubes were cut tightly stretched to connect to the outdoor unit with no allowance for outdoor unit movement (potential leak could happen at stretched joints); and the vacuuming process was only 2-3 mins without waiting for possible fluctuation in leak test. Overall, Steve the installer did a poor job! (5 Stars for Gavin but Zero Star for Steve).
D.Purchased a floor mounted air-con system for the office. Great service from the team at Future Energy from start to finish. Turned up on time, did a great install and left with everything neat and tidy. Even got a follow up call to check I was satisfied – which I am. Recommend these guys if you want a hassle free install and done on time.

Liam made a floor mounted heat pump in an unusual place possible when the other companies said it wouldn’t work or just tried to sell me other products. The communication up till the day of installation was seamless and the 2 men who installed the pump were super gracious even though I knew it was a tough and probably painful and exhausting job; just smiled and figured out the tight spots. The electrician arrived at the perfect time to complete the process and everything was left tidy. I received a good basic lesson with helpful tips before the Guys left. I’m so happy I paid for the full service; no need to liase with multiple contractors and such a knowledgeable bunch of people. Follow up has been great with contact to make sure I am satisfied. These Guys are absolute professionals.

Just wanted to highlight what was outstanding in comparison with other competitors: 1) measurements were done very quickly with a laser meter, which were instantly entered into a software on a tablet. 2) Heath discussed our needs and offered good options 3) They know well HealthyHomes standards and calculated suitable heatpump 4) we received a quote on the same day! whereas others took 1-2 weeks. Also, we are very grateful that our order had been prioritized as we were expecting a baby soon. On the day of installation I had an appointment and couldn't be there, so I left keys to them and we were so delighted to see a heatpump installed properly and without any mess. G.We had a 12 Panel Solar System installed. After reviewing all the quotes and investigating the various products, Future-Energy provided the most efficient Trina Solar Honey panels, the Sola X Inverter X1 Boost series which had the perfect configuration but had the longest warranty of 6 years of any company in NZ. After over a months use, I'm amazed at the efficiency of the panels which can deliver more power above the stated base wattage. Thanks to Gavin, Heath and Alistair for the efficient process of installation, communication of providing a really top of the line product, at an economical price. The investment of this solar system has a better return than having money in the bank. I estimate the pay off with these panels will be under 4 years. That's better than other less efficient systems on the market that cost much more.

Heath came at midday Monday to scope the project and to provide priced options. By midday Tuesday, Clinton and his Tonto had the new Daiken heat pump installed and running!
Will I go anywhere else for fast, cost effective supply and installation? Not likely!

C.I did a bit of research before deciding to get a heatpump installed and soon discovered that a 5kw machine should be on its own dedicated circuit. If its not you may find that it could cause problems with future insurance claims.
I was surprised to find that some heatpump companies flat-out refuse to do that even if it means losing a sale.
Not so Future Energy. They ran the wiring and installed a new circuit breaker on the distribution board with no problem.

Heath visited our house and assessed our needs for heating, provided a solution and quote which was very competitive, and responded promptly for follow up questions. Then we were in Level 4 lockdown. As soon as restrictions were eased to Level 3, they mobilised their team, installing two heat pumps upstairs and down. The team was very professional, following rules for social distancing, and cleaning up afterwards immaculately. The systems have now been in operation for about 3 months, and we are very satisfied with the outcome. I would highly recommend Future Energy if you need a heat pump installed at your place. M.Solar Installation; great service, very responsive to queries while no pressure for purchase and helped made me feel confident to take the leap. Very happy with end result It took a bit longer for the meter company to do it's thing so finally my solar export is showing up on my electricity account, but that had nothing to do with Future Energy. Pleased to say that, even though my focus wasn't about exporting solar, it provides a nice little additional reduction on my power bill even though we are near the shortest day of the year.
