P.Quiet older style motel. Wifi was difficult to connect with and bed and seat were old but 50 sky channels helped pass the night away as well as good ac/heat pump in the room. Parking right outside your room. Very close to town within walking distance.
S.Clean & comfortable rooms. Owners very friendly and helpful with information on local attractions and happenings. Would stay again.

D.Nicely renovated room with new carpets. Plenty of space, with good size kitchen. The friendly owners keep it really clean and gave us a nice quick tour of the rooms, amenities and how to use the TV remotes which was a bonus.
L.Palmerston North basketball team Really enjoyed our weekend there. The owners are so lovely, helpful and friendly, pool and bbq area is awesome and even on main road, really quiet! Thanks so much 🙏

w.Awesome lodge Motel management is Dad Mum & son. Friendly and very helpful. Nice pool they could add a spa that would be good. You can leave your car at the motel, town is a couple of minutes walk if that. Cambridge is a walkable friendly town.

J.Drapes and furnishings requires updating. Ceiling needs repairs walls repainted. Very shabby but affordable. Linen clean but surfaces need more attention.

P.I'm a commercial traveler. This place was probably the worst experience I have had staying in a motel. The iron was broken, the cheap ironing table was broken. The cheap Chinese bedding was even worse. Flat pillows like a pancake. The cheap duvet so thin I froze all night. No heater. Poor renovations half completed in the rooms by the Chinese owner and his wife. Really really poor cleanliness . I feel embarrassed for tourists who come at stay at these places. Your have been warned
A.Edit: as previously mentioned the sound was an issue, but seems to have stopped since 11:06pm
Everything was great except for the noise 😵😤😴 in room 4. You can hear some motor in the wall and an electrical hum/chime. If you want peace and quiet, bring some ear plugs. If there's one thing i want to have at a motel or hotel, it's a good sleep. Specially when traveling long distance.
J.Me an my Sister stayed here for 3 dAys while I had doctors appointment, cosy place with swimming pool and spa WiFi an 50plus sky channels, had a little kitchen etc mini fridge an only couple of min to town. Had a good stay an comfy beds..
H.So handy to all an event I had to attend near the velodrome. Although close to a busy road, once I was in the room the noise was buffered by clever design and layout, I had a perfect nights sleep with my friends in one of the twin rooms.

V.Bit dated but suitable for our stopover in Cambridge. Had the basics but was adequate and comfortable for our stay.
P.1970s setting but they have brand new Beds and the place is clean. Very helpful owners wonderful service.
