We had our HRV installed mid last year, and are really happy with it. I thought it may take a while to see the impact, but immediately we went from having dripping windows in the morning to nothing. The house warms up easier and I love that you can pull the heat down from the roof! Gary from HRV was really helpful and informative, and we're now talking to HRV again about getting a ducted heating/cooling system :) Thank you Gary!

HRV installation was life changing for us, worth every single dollar. We recommend it to everyone who owns their own home. Our house is always warm & feels very dry with the occassional little bit of condensation on the windows on very cold nights. The staff are always friendly, happy to help & keep their appointment time! We will never change to another lesser quality heating system. Thanks HRV!

We had a Chase come to explain HRV and give us a quote. He was fantastic, very professional, full of knowledge and very honest which we really appreciated. We decided to commit and the install happened instantly. We are super stoked with how timely and efficient it was and that he offered alternative payment options. We have been so so happy with the system. Not a drop of condensation and our house is so much warmer in the cooler mornings and not stuffy at all not the hot days, definitely worth it. The service was excellent. The quote was done at home on the spot and the price was so good we signed up immediately. The next day we were contacted about installation and the system was installed the next day! We are very pleased with our HRV system and would highly recommend HRV to any prospective client.

HRV system put in our house two weeks ago. Salesperson was quick, efficient, knew her stuff and sold us completely with her promises. Came on a Tuesday, system put in on a Thursday! Easy to use, results seen straight away. No more crying windows and the house is dry!

I've read a lot of negative comments, but we had no issues. The technicians who installed the system were polite, quick and tidy and explained how to operate the system well. We have only had it for a week but have noticed how much better it uses the air from the ceiling space first thing in the mornings. Great that it switches off and doesn't run (forcing hot air) at the wrong time, unlike our old system.

The HRV system is so good, very quick installation and instructions provided by the people who came to install at our home. Our only regret is, wish we could have installed the system earlier. But it's not late. We are so happy to have HRV installed and saw the effect just after two days of installation and saw the effect just after two days of installation. No moisture, no mould, clean air, no crying windows and so no morning window cleaning. Super happy and thank you for your explanation Gary Bir of every single detail about HRV. Highly recommend to anyone who is still thinking about installing HRV. And yes it is affordable. After installing hrv system from HRV team, we also installed Panasonic Heatpump, yet another example of excellent service from team HRV and Gary Bir.

Fabulous service! Have had HRV, heatpump and just getting a second heatpump and heat transfer system installed. Tracey has been wonderful to work with and is efficient, friendly and professional. Very pleased with everything so far and highly recommended to anyone wanting quick and easy install of good quality products!

I found the service man very polite nice understanding off my situation . Having had a house alarm installed there workmen had used The existing HRV cable to pull there own cable through the wall an other places in roof an broke HRV cable I couldn’t work out why my asthma was so bad fr months only to find out HRV not working properly . I got very prompt call back from HRV an they put in new cable an sorted it all for me . When your older u rely on work tradesmen to do a proper job . HRV was brilliant Thanku guys

I love my HRV! Yep definitely pricey, however good quality. Yes there are cheaper options out there, will they match up? My house has been dry ever since the installation, however next winter will be the true test. I love that the house is generally always a consistent temperature, and a few nights ago when the house was hot the HRV was pumping cold air into the bedrooms while we tried to sleep, it was glorious! So far super happy with my purchase. Lastly, before installation I read a lot of reviews, and people complaining on here about being harassed. I have not had this experience, I am upfront about my wants needs and finances and haven't had a problem. They were upfront about ongoing maintenance and filter changes, I have factored this maintenance in. They were upfront about how you can attempt to change them yourself but risk the unit not working, etc. I then had to make the decision myself to go ahead which I have done. Thanks team, good experience! Even during Covid!

We are very happy with our HRV ventilation system. We now have a warm dry home. Thankyou to the Canterbury team for their professional & polite workmanship. Requested a quote for HRV & was contacted in a timely manner, Representative Tracey made contact and met us at our house and explained fully how the system works and was very knowledgeable & pleasant. We signed up to have the installation undertaken, we were then contacted by Anna who again was very pleasant & helpful to arrange the install. The installation was completed in a quick time frame by the Technicians with excellent work habits and were extremely tidy. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company to others. Great friendly service and found the faults in the HRV Fan Motor's - replaced the faulty parts they had in the Van - easy fix by Serviceman .. All condensation gone now and making a big difference to the heat transfer from the roof.. I didnt relise how good a job they actually do in an old house.. Jack

We had our HRV system installed a few years ago primarily for condensation control. It has worked superbly and achieved exactly what we wanted. HRV continues to provide great service. They contact us to remind us when the system needs servicing. They are easy to deal with and efficient. Highly recommended!

I am not usually a review writer, but in Brad’s case this is justified. Brad was extremely easy going and engaging and took the time to listen to our needs and understand our concerns. He provided a through explanation of the HRV system, its benefits, maintenance, support, and costs. At the end we said sign us up & we haven’t looked back. Since installation Brad has been in contact to make sure we were happy with the result & I’m pleased to say we are delighted. Our house is warmer drier and even smells better. Thank you Brad. We had our HRV system installed about 1 month ago. Prior to having HRV our window glass and the aluminium frames would be dripping wet with condensation. After the install the next morning we already noticed a difference. The amount of condensation had reduced massively to where on our glass french doors there was only a small amount right at the bottom. Now we don't have any condensation and we've been having some pretty good frosts in the mornings.

We purchased the heat transfer system from Jacques from HRV. the service that we received from him and the Team was outstanding. Everything was explained to us in easy to understand format. The installation team arrived at the day and time booked with us and did a great job even to the point of vacuuming the room when they finished. Due to my sensitivity to air and drinking water quality, HRV was able to rid my home of molds and mildew problems overnight! When Christchurch City Council started chlorinating the water, my allergies and headaches kicked into overdrive. HRV has continuously worked to improve the water system so that I not only eliminate the chlorine but the more health damaging byproduct of chlorine with organic matter; chloramine (which belongs to the ammonia family)

Absolutely love our HRV! When we first got it we had VHS camera tapes that wouldn't play because they were too wet from moisture in our house. Within a week or so of the HRV being installed they dried out enough to play them! Thanks HRV a fabulous side effect of our installation 😊

We’ve had HRV installed approximately 3wks now and I initially got it installed to get rid of crying windows this coming winter. I had no idea of the added bonus of the user controlled heat transfer system using the warm air in the roof space to warm your home.. what a treat! Warm cosy house on those cooler summer days, no heater used! Can’t wait to see full benefit this winter!! Dry home, reduced power and less wood required!! Love it!!

We cannot fault Marcel and his installation team - punctual, courteous, quick and efficient. As for HRV it has excelled our expectations … our home is 7 years old with double glazing and 2 heat pumps, however the benefit of having filtered air in our home and helping with allergies has been amazing. We sleep better, we are less stuffy during the day and we enjoy the heating in the cooler summer evenings, and the cooling of the house on the hot summer nights. We have only had HRV for 6 weeks but we would not be without it. Thank you Marcel for your advice and such a super team of installers.

Pricing was reasonable, installation was both on time and incredibly quick with the team friendly and they explained how to use the system really well. It's early days yet but we are very happy with the HRV system so far and love the simple but modern colour display for operation. We have previously had both DVS and Moisture Master in other houses, but are pleased with our decision to use HRV this time around.

Fantastic service. We had the system installed within about two weeks from when the rep came around. Has made our home so much dryer and feels much more comfortable. We have not had any condensation since! It’s perfect.

I am very satisfied with our HRV ventilation system from the first year of installation up until now. No more crying windows during winter time, which saves me from wiping them everyday. We recently met Fiona from HRV who was so helpful and explained what we needed for our ventillation upgrade. Highly recommend.

We moved to a house with a DVS system that didn't work nearly as well as the HRV in our old house. We had water running down the windows and it was always cold. We put in an HRV and we couldn't be happier. A dry, warm home that feels comfortable. The team were fantastic and their service is always friendly and helpful. Would never use another system.

We have had the best service from HRV Canterbury, from the day our system was installed into our one hundred year old bungalow, during biannual maintenance and more recently when they advised of a part recall, that hadn't caused us any grief, but because they knew about it, it was replaced regardless. Our HRV is a lifesaver, we only have to turn it off for one night to know never to do it again lol. 110% recommend the product and the team.

Had HRV system for about 10 years and have had no problems. Just had system upgraded during the last service. The technician was very professional and explained everything to us. Great product and wonderful service.

I have a 1970's Summerhill Stone home, as with most home f this age they are not insulated in the walls and suffer from mildew & condensation rather badly. In 2008 i had three different companies come round to quote on addressing the issue. HRV were the only company that spent the time to (what i believe) assess my needs correctly, they did not over sell and did not have flash upgrades to get more money from me, they had one unit, one controller. The difference was overnight, brilliant. After 12 years i decided to upgrade to a more modern interface controller and new filtration box. (this decision was not due to the unit failing). I know people who have had the earlier systems like mine still running after 20 years.

Max the Serviceman .very knowledgeable young man, set u at ease. Came to replace the filter, as he was up the ceiling where the machine was. the bearing was hanging by a thread, didn't look good, about to come off. It was 11 years old the system was. . Did bloody well in my book. Max told me the price. For customers who have this system, what a good buy to replace it couldn't fault that. Oh my!! what a difference. 5-year guarantee. I have noticed. HRV has drastically improved the quality of air within our home. It has helped dry out the space and created a fresh feeling in each room that no doubt will increase the quality of health for our family. The fan installed within the bathroom works effectively and far outworks the previously installed fan that could not service the rooms requirements. I have an HRV in my home and i would not live in a home without it now. My house is fresh and i love the burnt toast mode to flush the home out. The team here in Christchurch are brilliant! they are always very helpful and can answer any questions i might have, it is also great that they are local.

HRV has made a big difference in the condensation within our new house. Our windows are no longer wet in the winter. Very happy and have recommended to friends and family

We just wanted to commend the high level of professionalism and service weve received from the Canterbury team. Up until recently we hadnt had the best experience with HRV, its sales team and in particular the customer service but the team they have at the moment has blown us away. Always helpful, friendly over the phone and gone above what we had come to expect. Our system is working just as we had untended and were now quite happy customers.

We put in an hrv system when we bought our property 13yrs ago. Best decision I made. Significantly reduced condensation & made our home warmer & dryer. Burnt toast mode is amazing. I am a asthmatic and i also get severe hayfever it didnt matter what we did or what we changed to minmise the affects. My husband decided to do some homework on heat pumps and circulation ceiling pumps and he came up with hrv. The sales lady we dealt with was amazing she helped out in so many ways we had our heat pump installed last week since lockdown was lifted and its amazing and really big it heats all parts of our home ducted and multi room circulation system has been awesome since having it. HRV system extended and ducted aircon installed in early spring 2020 - so far it has been very satisfactory - the HRV is great for summer days and evenings - very happy.

When you know how to use the settings on a hrv system it works amazingly, every home should be required by law to have an HRV system we would have less families with chest infections and ear infections.
