Obviously very busy so a bit of a wait to get the job done . However worth the wait James who did the job was very personable but professional at the same time. Very thorough and knowledgeable and the quality of the work and attention to detail was excellent . Took the time to explain what had been done and to explain a few things about the system which we weren't aware of. Really appreciated everything he did

Our heat pump was working so poorly. If the temperature outside was 6 or below our heat pump couldn’t keep up. It would turn off and our house would be cold. We vacuumed the filters regularly but it just wasn’t working well. We called Davis heat and cool. They came and cleaned out our heat pump and I can’t believe how much better it works. Like, SO much better. Our house is now warm regardless of the weather outside. They were affordable for the service and I can’t recommend them enough.

I've been a customer for years, with the Daikin heat pump at my old home. When I decided to get one for my new home, they were my obvious first choice of provider. The quoting service was excellent. I just had to wait a wee while for the installation, as I ordered it just on the Christmas break.

These guys are a 10/10. Always get the job done and to a high standard. I needed a heat pump fitted into a exec rental. I needed the conduit to be colour matched. They sorted it all for me and with no drama. Highly recommended!

I was referred to Davies Heat’n’Cool by a agent who has serviced our heat pumps for a number of years. He advised me after his last Service that both Units were needing to be replaced in the near future and recommended your Daikin Unit. Several,weeks later I experienced loud noises coming from the Heat Pump in our living area, and realised that the Unit was unsafe so rang Davies for a consultation re a Daikin Heat Pump. A salesman came to the house and explained how the Daikin worked and suggested a floor Unit for better heat circulation. He also left several pamphlets with helpful information. The Salesman was knowledgeable about the Heat Pump and respectful towards me I was rather taken aback that the wait list for the Unit was 5wks. I realise that goods and services have been greatly reduced due to the Pandemic.it was a relief when your office contacted me too say that the Unit would be installed on 1.04.22 The electricians who removed the old heat pump from the wall and then installed the new Unit were extremely helpful and gave me some advice re the holes in the wall left from the removal of the old Unit. I had to slip out for about 1/2hr.when I returned the Unit was installed and the house was left in an immaculate condition with all the packing treatment and old Unit removed. Thankyou for that. It was most appreciated. I have now decided to replace the heat pump in the lounge with a wall unit similar to the one that is there already. I have an appt for a Consultation with your Salesman next week. Thankyou Davies Hest’n,’Cool for making this purchase an easy experience.

I was very impressed with my heat pump, the price was a bit cheaper than other brands for the same if not better quality. The installation went really well and I thought they were all very professional from start to finish.. Highly recommend..

Service was very professional and I love that they recommend and stock Daikin heatpumps (in my opinion these are the best). I was consulted during the whole process and their time management was great. The finished job was very neat and tidy. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

The service man was very cordial and explained in detail what was involved. (Made friends with my puppy who didn't like masks lol) I absolutely love my Heatpump and the paperwork arrived shortly after the installation. I would certainly use them again and refer them on to people.

Considering a heat pump and they have a lot of tech. information but difficult to find prices etc.

Recently Davies carried out the installation of a Daikin ducted heat pump system to our home, the whole experience was top level from the design to the finished product which was installed to a high level and works extremely well, very very happy and would highly recommend.

We've found Davies Heat & Cool excellent service and quality products.

The chap that serviced our heatpump was excellent to deal with and he did a good job. On the down side I had to make 2 appointments to get the service done. The first time I called reception and they said a serviceman would call me to make a time. I never heard back. The second time the same process but I did hear back a month later. I think they need a better booking system. I have not got the invoice yet but was told it would be $160 per device. I think that is quite steep for a heatpump service.

Davies Heat n Cool in Dunedin are an extremely great business to request and receive services from; I found them very responsive, quick and reliable which I’m of the understanding is difficult amongst the back log of customers I’m sure they have due to covid. Can't speak highly enough of the Davies crew. From the initial guy who quoted, to the office staff and last but not least the installers. On a cold, very windy day they worked tirelessly and considerately to complete the job very efficiently. A rock star team!
