I cannot fault Stefan he was an amazing human, didn't push, didn't try and sell me things I didn't need in fact he saved me a few thousand dollars. (As I wanted a second heatpump installed in my kids bedroom as well as a dvs) I just bought a reclaim DVS system and it has changed our lives we have had absolutely no condensation since the day it was installed and our windows literally use to cry constantly. My childrens bedroom use to be bitterly cold and now even without the heat pump on there room is warm and dry normally sitting consistently at 18+ degrees (we have lived in this house for 9+ years and I don't think their room has ever been that warm) Our window sills use to grow mould faster than I could clean them and since the system went in I honestly haven't wiped them since (other than an odd dust) and no mould anywhere. I 150% recommend the team at Heat &Co and the Reclaim DVS knowing what I know now I would happily pay double the price for the results 🥰 The picture attached is from today an autumn day without the heatpump on. 🌡️

We needed a replacement heat pump to meet the needs of our home both now and into the future. Stefan took the time needed to assess what our living space would look like following the renovations we have planned. Turns out we didn't need to go as big as we thought and so we saved quite a bit of money. Once we confirmed, the unit was installed about a week later. The installer even got rid of our old rusted out unit for us. Highly recommend HeatCo Dunedin.

Heatco are excellent. Stefan was very helpful and honest — I wanted a price for 2 heat pumps for the whole house and instead of rubbing his hands together at the thought of selling me both pumps, he instead believed that 1 unit would do the job and his recommendation was spot on! Many thanks to Stefan / HeatCo. We were needing a heating solution for the kitchen/dining/lounge and Stefan popped around for an assessment as to what we would need. He was very thorough and listened to what we needed and made his professional recommendation from that. The Fujitsu floor mount heatpump is absolutely ideal for the area and it has far surpassed what we originally thought it would. Not only does it heat the area we wished, it easily heats the entire house! The whole process from the assessment/quote to final install and payment was super easy, nothing was a problem with Stefan. Heatco was recommended by a friend and we are throughly pleased with their service and install. Looking forward to dealing with Stefan again with an upcoming new build. Thanks again

Stefan was great to work with. He clearly knew what he was doing when he assessed our house for a heatpump and didnt just recommend the most expensive option. In fact he talked us out of a considerably more expensive option as he thought it would be not only superfluous, but potentially less effective! The heatpumps were also installed very quickly! I would highly recommend.

Highly recommend HeatCo. Stefan initially came out to our house and advised us on where would be the ideal locations of the 2 heat pumps we were after. Very easy to deal with and very happy with the install.

Had a wonderful experience with Stefan, he came round measured up the place and recommended the heat pump I have now. The boys were quick to install and tidied up any mess they made. Fully would recommend Stefan and HeatCo!

Bought our first home recently, moved in this winter to find ourselves rather cold, although we have an medium wood burner (which we were too scared to use as it had not been checked by anyone qualified) relying on a small heat pump in the lounge was not cutting it. The other end of the house was freezing and had damp issues, condensation rife on all the windows. At first we thought adding in a heat pump or two in the other rooms to negate the cold would do the trick. We had Stefan from Heatco visit our property, he checked out our wood burner and was able to test it with us, and it works fine. He then suggested installing a DVS system to compliment the existing heat pump and the now working wood burner. (and getting the Flue cleaned) He explained that, by adding in more heatpumps or a heatpump vented system, that they would heat up the cold end of the house, but they would not work on the damp issues so much. The heat of the house now gets distributed really well to every room its been vented into, we have little to no condensation build up on any of the windows. The DVS system has worked out great for our home and was more cost effective for our budget. Appreciated the time taken by Stefan to help us newbies out! Cheers! :D

Absolutely delighted with our new heating system. Two gas fires, two heaters and a DVS system. From the outset Stefans assessment of our needs showed us he was not just about money. He actually recommended cheaper options which we had not considered. The equiptment was fitted by yogi and his collegue and the guys from the DVS company. They were helpful, polite and really harworking. Due to circumstances beyond their control they were not able to have the gas fires up and running by the end of day one and to be honest because the country was going into lockdown I feared we would be without heating for the duration of this period. However Stefan coordinated a response and Yogi and his colleague came out in the hours prior to lockdown and finished the job. They were amazing and I cannot thank them enough. We have recently built our home, and after discussing heating options with Heatco, we had the Magic box installed, along with a Woodsman log burner and some heat pumps. We are so happy with all of the above, the fireplace heats the whole house, along with the heat pumps and especially happy with the Magic box. We had some snow days and it did not effect the heating of our water, with a family of five all having hot showers. Looking forward to the reduced savings over the year! Thanks Heatco. We contacted Stefan after a drawn out and unsuccessful effort to get a log burner installed through another Dunedin company with the Warm Dunedin scheme. He was really helpful and arranged for Mark to visit and discuss what was needed quickly. Lovely guy who gave good advice and a reasonable quote. Applications and permits were easily done and submitted quickly. The fire has just been skillfully installed by Mark and signed off by the council. Many thanks for great service and advice.

Would recommend going to Stefan and the team, great experience for us. Good price, great workmanship from Mike. The inspector was organised for the same day of install. We purchased the J Line 20 kw fire for our house and we are going to be really warm in the winter. We had a look all around Dunedin and they were the best price and very friendly. We had our Woodsman woodburner installed last week through Heatco. Stefan was very good and organised everything, including the permit with the DCC, and the council inspection and sign off. We didn't need to worry about anything. Mark did an excellent job installing the fire and it looks fantastic. They even had the inspector booked in to inspect the installation so we were able to light it the same day it was installed. We also had our heatpumps purchased and installed through Heatco a few years ago and they are also really great - Stefan recommended the most efficient ones on the market at the time and they are still going really well and not to dear on power. We would totally recommend Heatco for all your heating requirements. Thanks so much guys, now we can be nice and toasty warm all winter.

I found HeatCo a pleasure to deal with and they gave great advice. Even though the calculations suggested I needed a slightly larger unit, they said for the extra cost to go up a to that size and what would be gained they told me to go with the cheaper 8kw unit (well done them). BTW. It heats up the area fine.

We have recently purchased a heatpump from Heatco Dunedin. Stefan called and gave us a recomendation on what we needed for our place. The installation went without a hitch and the men doing it were a pleasure to have in our house. The heat pump is doing exactly what we expect. Recently had a Panasonic ducted heat pump installed by Stefan and HeatCo. Through the whole process we felt that Stefan was giving us the best possible advice and he double checked everything to make sure that there would be no unforeseen issues. Installation went without a hitch and we now have central heating to all five bedrooms and full control with a seven day programmable timer. All at a price that came in at far less than we expected when we started researching ducted systems! Would recommend Stefan and HeatCo to anyone looking at heating for their home.

Heatco installed a woodburner fire place for us last week. We are so happy with the product and Heatco have been absolutely fantastic to deal with. They organised the council permit and the fire was installed and signed off in about 5 hours on the install day. We are now so toasty and warm, saving lots of money on wood by replacing an old inefficient open fire with a Woodsman. So glad we did it, and really impressed and satisfied with the Heatco team.
