J.Awesome company and great job have been done to my property installing ventilation system.Mark,Theo and installation team were great and trustworthy who goes extra miles to satisfy the customers. Highly recommended A+++.
S.After 2 years I'm writing this review - the system works OK. Cools well in summer overnight and the controller screen is easy to use, got a good reminder from them when the filter was due and being able to change it myself makes things cheaper. However it dosent eliminate crying windows, even after adjusting the minimum settings as per the call centres instructions. It brings condensation into the house after rain too, which I was told is due to moisture in the roof space, therefore I have had the issue investigated professionally and even completely re-furbished the roof, there's no leaks, however the issue persists, calls not returned. In my opinion the system would benefit from some kind of intake humidity sensor. As whenever it rains during the day I turn the system off manually. The way the filter is mounted in the unit is a bit cheap too (held together by tape) after sales customer service could be improved.
All in all it's a ducted fan system. For $3500 I'm not entirely convinced its worth the money. Our house is well insulated so that helps I guess.
S.We had our heat pump serviced and I thought it was really good value for money. The serviceman was here for around 1 hour and did a careful job, cleaning the different components. He was very friendly and helpful, letting me know how I can get the best out of our heat pump and maintain it ourselves as necessary.

S.I've had mine installed for about 5-6 months now. Honestly, the best decision I've ever made.
When I first enquired about the issues surrounding my house. Theo (SAYR's rep) had came over to my house to explain the benefits of what the SAYR ventilation would do for me. His explanation was very insightful and made the decision to get the installation much easier.
Since the installation, I have noticed the house to be much warmer and the air is much dryer. The condensation on my windows are no longer there and rooms no longer feel moist and damp.
I 100% recommend getting the installation done if you're thinking about it.

We particularly appreciated their honest as we approached them for a double glazing enquiry, however they told us that all we needed was a ventilation system when they visiting our place weeks later.
They could have sold us a far more expensive solution but they realised that wasn’t what would fix our major condensation issues.
In fact the ventilation system installation also had its challenges, challenges that made other ventilation companies refusing to agree on the job in the past, however Sayr’s installers worked with us and we were able to find the best solution for our family home.
Thanks to Theo Naus and Sayr team we have had a healthy and dry home this winter.

D.Used to be a great company, we installed their system in three different houses and I recommended them to friends. Unfortunately they service seemed to went downhill as of late. Our system needs a new filter. I called and emailed them, I haven't received any response and have been waiting for a couple of months now. I see from other comments they still install their system, be aware that once they do you won't receive any support if something either goes wrong or you just simply after the maintenance service
Update: after posting the review I've got contacted by Sayr and got the service done within the same day with the promise that the company is working on their service support. Hopefully no issues moving forward.

This two years the system working well and no problem at all just piece of cake. Today technician who is Matthew come for change filter and normal check. He arrived on time and working effective and very kind. It is a great service and great company.
A.I had originally installed a ventilation system from another vendor at my property. This did not resolve condensation issues and at some point it ended up making matters worse and causing my tenants to move out due to frustration with mould appearing on the ceilings. The original vendor was not interested in investigating the cause any further, they decided to just uninstall their system and refund the amount.
I had other builders and “experts” look at the problem, but no one could diagnose the issue correctly.
With my confidence at rock bottom after all that, I reached out to SAYR. I was impressed with how Sam and Mark immediately took ownership of the issue. Both turned up to my property and spent a good hour looking around the unit and inspecting the roof cavity. They were able to explain the reasons why the condensation issues happen and provide a solution. I also installed one of their fully automatic bathroom fans which performs very well. I would highly recommend SAYR and their team for their diligence and willingness to go the extra mile.

J.I'd had a very good ventilation system in my previous house and initially thought I'd have that company again. I'd not heard of Sayr, but I'm very glad I looked at their website; they stood out to me as the best (yet not the most expensive). The main thing was that, to my mind, Sayr clearly had the best technology. Then their staff were excellent, at both first visit and installation. The installers knew the best locations for the vents and explained why. The system works wonderfully well, and amazingly quietly. Also, I knew I needed a significant upgrade of my roof insulation before Sayr could install, and so an added bonus was that Sayr knew what insulation was best and organised the installation of that for me.
So, I unreservedly recommend Sayr to everyone.

G.Before buying my SAYR ventilation system I carried out a lot of market research.
I met Theo Naus (Sales) at a home show previously. Theo was able to provide me with plenty of detail about this impressive system.
The system is fully automated with a variable speed highly efficient motor. This means that you basically do not need to make any adjustments to the system at all. The programming helps to ensure that wind chill or wind heat should not be an issue in your house. The motor is able to run at a very slow speed.
This system is designed to run 24/7. This is what I expect from a good ventilation system.
Another advantage of the SAYR, the high grade filter is usually good for 2 years. The price for changing the filter is very competitive and there is also an option of purchasing this filter from SAYR and installing it yourself.
I was happy with the installation of this product.
Theo has also been in contact with me since the installation to confirm that I am happy with the system.
c.I got a SAYR ventilation system installed in a typical NZ bungalow 1 month ago (3 bedrooms, lounge, dining room).
The consultation was nice and without sales pressure. Jason had a lot of technical details at hand and answered all my questions. He gave me a competitive quote on the spot.
Organizing the install and the install itself was without any problems. Thanks to Tanya we found a good day+time to install and Dave (and "the boys") turned up right on time (actually, a few minutes earlier after letting me know via TXT - great communication). They did a brilliant installation job. Exactly what was agreed and very tidy.
After a month now and with all the hot+sticky Auckland nights we were having over the last few weeks, I found the SAYR system to make a huge difference. We really can feel the air in the house to be much fresher and cooler during the night - no need to fire up the aircon. Good night sleep.
To meet the target inside temperature, the system slows down (or even stops) air flow when the roof air is hot (it went to 51C yesterday!) and speeds up again when the roof air cools down. This is not just on/off - the motor speed adjusts gradually. I am looking forward to winter to see if the roof air still gets warm enough so that the SAYR ventilation can noticeably warm the house (but summer cooling is the main reason we got the system).
One thing I did wrong (against Jason's recommendation) was to insist on a fresh air inlet. Due to the way the the roof is constructed, there is not much room to squeeze the flexible ducting through to the soffit (we did not want to go through the roof tiles). The result was that the motor had to suck air "through a straw". This makes a big difference to how hard the motor has to work and how much air it manages to push through the house. We removed that connection and now everything works perfectly. My advice: listen to what the SAYR consultant recommends - they know their stuff!

b.I bought a dozen or so GTR Smart+ for my rental properties. Absolutely drop down brilliant. I did so before the government regulated it, researched the market, and went with these guys.
They automatically detect moisture, then fire up. They are fast, powerful and quiet. Unlike some extractions that have no puff, these do the job.

J.The men arrived to install the unit just before the latest level 3 lockdown. They called to ask if they could arrive earlier than organised, which was really appreciated. Their work was quick and their tidying up immaculate! The system has been great since being installed. I have had to use additional heating very rarely, therefore saving on electricity. If I have cooked anything with a smell e.g. cauliflower or a curry, the smell is gone by the morning - which is wonderful. I would highly recommend this system and SAYR ventilation systems.
p.From top to bottom the install process and results were brilliant. The team (even the young fullas) were polite, courteous and did a fantastic install. Two hours after install the house was warmer, and from that evening there wasnt a drop of condensation on tbe windows. Great stuff!

Saw them at the HomeShow, spoke to the Director Bruce who offered to fix himself. (champion). Didnt want to bother him so dealt with a very helpful Mark on the phone and then Matthew the technician came out he next day to put in a new display unit and ran me over how the system works with all its functions, cheers matthew ya legend.

I installed in September 2020 late review but yes after several quotes from different Ventilation companies I finally came to a conclusion to go ahead with Sayr Ventilation. Theon and Mark were really professional. They went above and beyond my installation and really looked after us. Before installation my house was so damp and moisture upstairs. After the installation we felt the difference straight away with fresh air and no more moisture. And with their bathroom fans I installed they are amazing no more mildew or moisture. A very functional and as advertised system cannot go wrong. And one of the best in Price too.If you want to go for a Ventilation System Sayr is the one to go for.Words are not enough it's the System that proves it.A special thanks to the Sayr installation team specially Mark for putting an extra effort into our difficult downstairs installation.
