Our experience:
Absolutely amazing. After a broken window, lost dresses, transmission issues and a 6hr tow ride. These guys went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable when we finally arrived and let us extend our stay well into the following week so we could arrange repairs to our vehicle after we had attended our function.
D.My partner and I had a wonderful stay here with our four children over the long weekend. The unit had been redecorated beautifully. It was clean, well serviced and had plenty of space for the six of us. It was also a reasonable price. We would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to others.

Tidy clean place, comfy bed!
We got two bedroom unit
Fans in every room, thank goodness as was hot, and not cheap ones.
Would stay again for sure.
Maybe longer shower curtain to protect the new lino and wood id suggest. 😊
D.Great value...myself, the wife and our 3 kids for only $175. There was no heat pump or AC, but there was a fan...but still $175 for 5 people. The motel also has WiFi internet access and smoking is permitted outside if that interests you.
B.The owner was very helpful during our stay. One of the better dog friendly places we have stayed at. We wanted to stay again on our return journey but unfortunately its was fully booked. Boo hoo for us. But will come again in the future. Nice and handy to nice folks and town centre.
A.Rooms are dated. Single beds are comfortable. Double bed was uncomfortable. Wifi is non existent in the unit. Was inconvenient to come out in the common area which had the best coverage when it is raining or cold.
F.Lovely place, better than it looks, reasonably priced. Awesome staff that makes you feel like family. I lucked out and got the upstairs room, made ne wish i stayed longer.
A.Vicki the manager of the property went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure the Avondale College 1st X1 had a stay to remember throughout tournament week, she even baked them a cake ! Nothing was an issue and she was always available to assist where possible.
A.Great place, lovely room. We stayed for a night even without booking and it was late, they still willing to accept us. Good value! We enjoyed our stay
G.I wish to give 4 stars as they have the gumption to allow people like us to bring our furry friends along for a weekend away. It costs much the same as puppy prison (kennels) and they are with us. New smells and sounds and all. Long my it last without some twit coming along and ruining it for us all.
M.First place I stayed on my first stay in Taupo. They we're affordable, accomodating, friendly and had what I needed. I went back the following year, and found it hadn't changed and had all I needed once again. It's central, and comfortable. Keep it up guys, cause I'm comin back soon.

Parking was not good enough, and it is close to Lake Taupo.
