Great HRV team. They came and assessed the issue I was having on the same day that I called and had someone around at 9am the next morning to fix it. As well as their prompt, professional service they also took time to sit with my rescue dog, who gets super anxious about people coming into the house, to reassure her.

We had a ventilation system installed recently. HRV staff were professional and extremely helpful from start to finish. From the moment it was turned on, it worked perfectly and we noticed within the hour the two rooms which were giving us problems with cold, were the same temperature as the rest of the house. The burnt toast option is brilliant! Good for getting rid of smells quickly. We have had a system put in in another home, so we knew what to expect. The HRV's system does work better.

I have had an HRV system installed for years now, I like how they send you reminders to get your filter changed as life can be busy sometimes. Every time i've had someone come to change my filter and service my HRV unit they have been professional and on time. All in all the HRV system works incredibly well in my single glazed home and i would highly recommend this company to anyone thinking of installing an HRV unit (or the likes of)

HRV sales and installation was very professional. 2 weeks on from install and the system is working very well. We no longer have moisture on the inside of our single glazed windows and the system distributes warm air taking the chill off other rooms. My wife is asthmatic has noticed considerably increased drieness in the air resulting in a much more comfortable environment. While the system is not cheap it is excellent value for money particularly in our single level gabled roofed 235m2 home. It is the middle of winter.

HRV arrived on time to upgrade my HRV system. I had booked way in advance and they confirmed my booking the day before. They also wanted to know if we would like their techs to wear PPE gear when entering the house. The guys arrived on time and were friendly and finished the job with no fuss and took time to show me how to use the operating panel.

A great company to deal with from sales staff, to office staff, to the installation guys. Covid caused a bit of a delay but on the day the two installers worked quickly, quietly, and cleaned up after themselves. They were polite and considerate. Would recommend for sure!

We are elderly and have moved to our unit 18 months ago. Never having had a HRV system before I phoned them to find out how it works. The young lady knew her stuff and fully explained it. The system needs to be serviced every two years so we have just had one of their service guys out to service it and change the filters. He again took the time to explain it to us and when I asked how old it was he advised it had been installed in 2004. As we live mostly in a throw-a-society nowadays I was surprised to hear after 17 years it was still working fine so well done HRV for selling a product that has stood the test of time and is still going. I would highly recommend it.

The Guy arrived on the exact time he was booked for. He was friendly and just got on with the job of changing out the faulty unit. He cleaned up and checked the system out . All Ok and working well.

We needed our filters changing which I was going to tackle myself, but glad I rang up our local HRV in Tauranga. They explained that it would only cost a tiny amount more to get one of their own engineers to change the filters for me. Plus the engineer would service the HRV system because we were still under warranty. Whilst the engineer was here he realised there was a fan fault with one of the units and fixed it there & then. Soooooo glad I didn't tackle the filters myself!!! Great service, on time and the engineer was great! Cheers HRV...

We were most impressed - the young technician carefully checked our unit and found it was not responding 100% according to the metre he held in each room.........& we had noticed that on a couple of occasions we had had moisture inside the windows during winter months which hadn't happened since we installed the HRV. He subsequently replaced the whole unit - as fortunately we were still under warranty. He carefully explained everything to us ..... and we were very impressed with the service. Thank you very much. He also showed us the used filter which certainly did need replacing. Two very happy customers!

First off, over a period of about a year and a half I got in several of HRV's products. The first two were their Water Filtration system and the ventilation system. When you live on a (tight) budget you think twice about purchases that some might not see as essential. I know better. I didn't hesitate to call HRV up when I bought my new home. The water had specks floating in it and I have a history of open wounds which I didn't want foreign matter in, plus the thought of drinking dirty water just freaked me out. As for the ventilation system I've had it in 2 of the 3 other houses I've owned (with my mum). The first house (an old 1960's bungalow) got the first HRV system and it stopped the window condensation beautifully, but more importantly it helped with the frequency and severity of my asthma attacks. The second house accidentally got a competing company's ventilation system and to show how good it was we immediately called HRV when we bought our third home. This current home got the water filtration and ventilation systems first. Was sooo happy with how effective they were and how great the service and staff are that after my first winter here I bought one of their heat pumps and a heat transfer kit for the ventilation system. The transfer kit allows the ventilation system to move a bit of the heat put out by the heat pump (or cooling air in summer) to the other rooms in the house, either to take the chill off the bedrooms or make it cool enough to sleep. The staff are wonderful, the call desk helpful. Both are definitely worth praising. So happy with the service person who comes out to clean filters etc that I do a little baking to give him as a way of showing my appreciation.

The young man who carried out the 2-yearly service of our HRV system was very efficient, timely, knowledgeable and extremely pleasant as was the Office Lady who made contact with us to book a time for the service. We recommended HRV to friends in Rotorua who then installed HRV and they are extremely happy also.

I had an HRV system installed over the winter and immediately began to feel the results. I no longer wake to wet, weeping windows and my home is always cozy and warm. Because I no longer have to open any windows for ventilation I no longer have a home filled with dust and pollen which is an added bonus. The entire process, from the in home consultation through to the installation went smoothly and I would highly recommend this company to anyone considering having a ventilation system installed.

Installed an HRV 2 years ago. Systems runs under our house as we don't have a traditional ceiling cavity for standard set up. Its FANTASTIC. Can not recommend enough. I can’t speak highly enough of HRV Bay of Plenty, the adjusted my appointment at the last minute, organised the install while we were away, install was prompt and professional. Always friendly, helpful staff who let us split the payment. It has transformed our property (old hardiboard reno project) from damp and mouldy to dry and warm. It’s a different house - we have no condensation and all the old smells have gone. Heat pump takes minutes to heat the place. Frankly these systems should be backed/installed via the government to improve NZ houses. Amazing. Great work.

I was impressed with the service - how quick and efficient the workers who install the system. And the fact we now have dry windows - happy house and the heat is carried from the fireplace in lounge to all three bedrooms - wonderful. Just one negative comment - just thought the whole system was a bit price. I know a lot of houses that need HRV to both ventilate and heat but won't be able to afford it.

The sales person was very helpful and accommodating. He followed up his actions and kept me in the loop of progress. Great service from these guys, they contacted me to say the upgrade I'd had installed potentially had a faulty motor and they came out within a couple of days to fix it, arrived on time and dealt with it very quickly. The Staff who lead the HRV are helpful, have a high understanding of how ventilation products operate.The best systems that will meet my needs along with the correct installers. The HRV Ventilation which they chose was the Arizona 6 Diffusers Gen3 for a pre 1980s home of 175m2. Easy to understand and operate.Very nice to have a cool house on these hot summer nights. My office used to be a trifle stuffy with a lack of good ventilation. With the system life has changed I now enjoy spending the time in this area. Thankyou HRV for being prompt, looking after me along the process. Making me aware of there after service contact for any questions on operating settings, scheduled services. I have since proceeded and had them install A Panasonic Z50VKR Heat Pump R32 inverter. The nanoeX is my favourite setting which can be easily integrated with the fan settings. Once again Thankyou HRV for your support.
