M. P.Our unit was clean & tidy, quiet with a river view. Although its easy to say the interior is dated, the airconditioner was so welcomed with the heat of summer outside. Beds were comfortable and shower worked fine. Loved our stay in Wairoa and it was made 100% easier with Vista. Thank you, you are a credit to Wairoa.
J. S.Absolutely loved this little place. Although dated, I was greeted with a warm smile and the facilities were very clean and fresh. Rooms were warm and bed was comfy. To top it off, their restaurant was fantastic. Friendly staff and quick service. Basic menu, but nicely presented, good potions and tasted great. The cheesecake I took back to my room was home made and YUMMY! Would definitely recommend.

N. .. N. G.Was a nice experience. I stayed here for two weeks Five days the food and stay was lovely. the last week I stayed the fridge was defrosted on to the carpet. I just took a photo of it and told the staff. they were able to take care of it by placing a towel on it. Lovely staff at the Vista Lodge in Wairoa.

G.We really like staying here but don't like that we can't reach the wifi from our rooms & room service is really great but we have stayed here 2x now & the cleaners have just unlocked our doors and come in unannounced. I like my privacy so I do not appreciate this at all! You can't just unlock people's doors and walk in there rooms if they don't answer so please get that sorted. Other than that, I do like staying here and would come back again but the next time they do this I will be complaining to the office.
P. H.Perfect stay for the night as we there just for work. Had everything we needed. Restaurant wasnt open for us but we were allowed to order and get it delivered to our room. We did have 2 wait 2hours as they had a function on too, but it was well worth it
T.New owners are lovely. Rooms were great. Clean and tidy. Serviced daily - we stayed 3 nights. Nice and quiet even with the main highway running past it. Any minor issues we had were fixed with urgency. Any other maintenance they could not do themselves was listed ready for when trades were back at work after the Christmas break. Small quiet town. Restaurant wasn't open but we took our own food anyway so this wasn't an issue. Thank you
T. M.Great place to stay plenty room for parking large vehicles. Room was clean and tidy. Heat pump in the room to warm it up fast in the cold months Good small kitchen all the basics. The restaurant food looks outstanding and tastes great but don't order the beef burger not that great could do a lot better, but everything else was superb.
D. I.Generous hot water! Easy to connect to the internet, warmth or cool at the fingertips from the large heat pump, and clean facilities. Can't go wrong. We got here late, and were happy that the manager (?owner) answered the phone, because online most of the places said they were closed. We did get the last room at a special price, which we were very happy with. Nice host, thanks for everything.
