Such a cute & cosy spot tucked away in Parnell! Love the decor and atmosphere of this place! Shakes are on the pricey side and can be a bit of a wait on some days… but it’s well worth it! 😍 These shakes come in many different flavours so there’s bound to be something for everyone. + they taste as marvellous as they look (& even better on a hot day) but are not to be underestimated! They are ginormous, so sharing a shake may be a good option, but if you want to complete this mission solo, then that’s never a bad idea too! 😅

This is our go to after a ladies lunch/brunch. They look and taste AMAZING!! Wonderful OTT treat/dessert to enjoy with family/friends. You are spoilt for choice. Staff are just lovely. Seating is first in, first serve but you can book in advance.

These look as good as they taste. I had the snickers one and was so good. I'd suggest not having lunch or dinner though 😂 so filling.

Yet another place to satisfy those cravings for sweets. There are so many options to choose from the menu. Place is decorated nicely, almost makes me feel like I’m in the 90s. Have been here twice, and definitely will come back

Nice place for dessert. The menu was a bit hard to follow but eventually made sense. The counter for ordering is before the seating area. We took menus and sat down to look through them. They have a range of different items from drinks like shakes to food like waffles. I had the puff tree freak shake. Wtih most of the freak shakes you get to choose the flavour of the shake. I quite liked it with the puffs almost like chocolate cookies. Friends had the waffle and the chocolate freak shake with a donut. A nice place for a sweet stop.

Great experience. They have some real large killer shakes which is a must try. I had the mango smoothie which was amazing. Highly recommend trying this place out. The dining area is seperate but lovely, cute decor. Shake is a little pricey but worth it. Would definitely go again.

I've never seen anything quite like this in my life and I couldn't be happier. Put that plastic glove on and get messy! (You won't be able to avoid it) These are true dessert towers for chocolate, lolly, or all around sweet sugar fiends like myself. There's even other options like unique candy floss displays (cotton candy). The main shop is small, but there's an indoor seating room around the corner. Next time I'm in Parnell, especially with guests, I'm taking them here for sure.

Amazing waffles! Little odd presentantion but the taste is what counts. They don't give you any samples of ice-cream and the menu is a bit confusing. But the shakes and sundaes are literally made for your Instagram 😂. If you have a sweet tooth when in Parnell, this is a good place to go

Amazing desserts! I ordered a loaded Snickers milkshake and it looked and tasted really good. The staff were friendly. I highly recommend this place for people with a sweet tooth ☺️

Cute place to sit and slurp down the shakes or icecream. Nice decor and a selection of seats inside and out to choose.. Hosts are awesome, we picked a good time to go, easy menu with pics of the final product to somewhat help you decide what to order. Classic bananasplit (hard to find these days)and a freakshake shared with my 2 boys 6&7yrs was a giggly and wow experience . Worth the experience for all ages. The pink tree outside hard to believe it's real,paper like leaves gorgeous summer colour

Very cosy and cute cafe with creative menu. It's nice and quiet perfect for catch ups, the shakes are also very big so better to share. There's not a lot of seating though and you have to walk next door to order.

Really yummy! The prices seem a little steep, but the freakshakes are huge and well worth the money. Delicious.

Came here recently and ordered my fave shake - Nutella. Yummy and fulfilling. Photo does not do justice. I do miss the little seating room they used to have back in the day, as it may feel a little crowded now, when it is a bit packed.... but cant wait to see future reno’s. :)

I was delighted by the way dishes were presented in the menu, but then when they served me I was really impressed with the quality and the delicious flavour of the food. Recommended

Lovely place, decorations and vibe. Very tasty drinks with bears of your chosen One thing, the bear was frozen too hard not melting well, but still want to be back for other drinks!!

It's a nice little cozy place, tucked away in a corner. Freak shakes are awesome and waffles are a delight to eyes. Must try for all dessert lovers.

I have been here numerous times with my friends and families for years. Very yummy and creative dessert, I have nearly tried out all the flavors of milk shake on the menu! Can’t really choose my favorite one as they are all delicious. To be honest I don’t think it is tooooo sweet, so it’s ok even though you don’t have a sweet tooth; and the proportion of 1 dessert is enough for 2 people (in my case) Awesome place for everyone: kids, families, couples, friends, etc xx

We had the hokey pokey crunchie shake and waffles with snickers gelato and malteasers which both lived up to our expectations. Waffles were perfectly cunchy and fluffy, definitely recommend, plenty of other gelato flavours including banoffee, matcha, ferrero. Cosy space, staff were friendly too.

This really small but cute cafe is located in a tiny alley from Parnell road. It can easily go unnoticed. Their coffees are delicious, and they are served in different looking cute cups. Their desserts look huge and delicious too, but me and my friend didn’t get a chance to try them last time because we were too full from food.

Nice place for an ice cream or dessert (waffles and more ice creams) they have coffee and tea too. Good value for the money. ;)

We ordered a Nutella shake with Ferrero combination. OMG. That was the best. Good vibe inside.

To be honest, everyone goes here for the freakshakes - and they don't disappoint. The gelato is definitely the best part, but the other toppings are decent. We had a bit of a wait when we went (about 30 mins) but it was worth it to try a freakshake for the first time.

Yeeeessss!!!! I finally got to try this place! Love everything about it. Staff were lovely, indoor seating looked cozy, they have outdoor tables and they have pictures on their menu! I chose a crunch tower iced coffee.. Came with upside down ice cream waffle cone on top covered in cream, sprinkles, chocolate wafer, poke, drizzling with fudge and covered in peanut... I thought this place would do a milkshake ice coffee (don't like that stuff) but was happy that it wasn't that and was more like an affogato. It wasn't sickly sweet which I'm really happy with. Thinking I need to pay them another visit really soon! Oh, we went on Sunday roughly around 2-3pm and it got really busy that the waffles were going to take 35mins... So please expect a wait on a really busy day... especially now since it's getting hot. My crunch tower took approximately 10mins to make.. It is worth the wait. My crunch tower was around $15.00

One word Freakshake! Located in Parnell Town Centre this is a hidden gem. With an inside seating area and outside seating area it's a quaint and cozy atmosphere. I highly recommend CrunchTower Desserts and Drinks.

Definitely THE BEST place in Auckland to go out for dessert or even for a date! Great for kids and sweet lovers! Went there yesterday and was so amazed with the whole place, it's a really cute little Cafe, quiet, great customer service- they were extremely polite and nice. The prices are a bit high but that was expected as the freakshakes are very high quality and are DEFINITELY worth the $17, the orders (especially the freakshakes and waffles) do take some time to be served but that time could be spent catching up with friends and family. (Waffles take 45 mins and freakshakes around 15mins), however the staff will tell you exactly how long your order will take and you can then decide if you still want them to proceed your order. They also have such a cute wall of flowers to take photos next to, I would definitely recommend this wonderful place to everyone! Thank you so much for such a great place and food :))

Omggg thist place is heaven! Highly recommend it, maybe just order 1 between 2, or skip main meal and just have this lol. You can't ho here on a full stomach, otherwise you won't do it justice!

Ordered snickers milkshake. Very creative and visually impressive dessert, and thoroughly delicious too. 1 dessert between my family of 4 was adequate for a treat, and affordable, but 1 between 2 people would be fine if you're hungry and have a sweet tooth. Would definitely go back!

YUM! We had the strawberry & lemon soda and a super stack shake (I think that’s what it’s called). We saw multiple come out and no one seemed disappointed, including us. Plenty of yummy flavors to try when we come back 😍

The waffles are filling and have so much going on - fruit, candy floss, sauce. I got the Nutella /Malteasers and salted caramel ones, would definitely do it again

Great service and awesome drinks! Every single one I have tried has been amazing. Beautiful presentation and great taste. I always get way too much in one transaction as it is so easy to buy more than one (or two) items. Highly recommend this place. Great staff.

Desserts like you have never seen. They aren't cheap but it is worth it. Order an SuperOreo (in my opinion is the best)

Finally tried their FreakShakes. Although over the top on sweetness, its to be expected with such drinks, totally worth it as a treat in the weekend. I love that they are open late most nights as well, perfect for a night time treat. They get busy here most nights, which to me is testimony to great food or service :). Although the wait was a tad long because it was busy on the night we went it was worth it. Would come back for more. I had the Sweet Treats shake and my friend had the Oreo Shake

Definitely an experience to try. $17.90 each Sweet,delicious, wow, share Good for 2. Use the gloves provided to deconstruct your monster and enjoy the shake. Sit inside a cozy cottage decor or outside on twin share picnic tables.

cool as shop owners and yum shakes! fun place to take kids if your brave enough for the sticky mess and sugar rush. Hidden in a little alley so may need to keep your eyes peeled and they have a flower wall for Instagram worthy photos hahaha.

Excellent place for that after dinner dessert. Desserts are too heavy and totally withw the price. Lots of options. Bit cramped space but nice deco. Kasie the waitress is so lovely and hard-working. Just a couple girls running the show. Highly recommended.

The Nutella and Ferrero Rocher shake was delicious. Nicely decorated place. Not a lot of indoor seating, though there is uncovered outdoor seating. Can get very busy, though we went on a rainy day so could get a seat easily. Fast and friendly service.

Went in initially for a freakshake but ended up getting some of the split drinks instead. Absolutely delicious and made with fresh fruit. Will definitely try a freakshake next time.

Devine! I have been looking for a place that specialises in dessert as a main and i have now found it. The shake was artistic and delicious. I will definitely come back for a special treat here. Perfect for a special occasion or indulgence.

I purchased a Freak Shake from Casa Del Gelato. While the milkshake itself was quite disappointing, I recommend purchasing for the enjoyment of the adornments. Quite filling - would recommend not eating beforehand (Freak Shake acting as a meal).

Cozy little place to gather with friends. Must try the freakshskes! They are MASSIVE with all sorts of yummy flavours and delicious waffles chocolate toppings on it, the best milkshakes in town!

Not bad. But can't stand a chance with Ceral Killa in mount eden. Cheaper quality ingredients and overpriced. If you can, go to the mount Eden one. Much better.
