The first noise to come out of our mouths after sipping on the velvet smooth Italian hot chocolate was "ohh" the sort of noise u make when u have found your culinary g spot. Then came the stunning gelato laden waffles. We asked for extra chocolate sauce, we got a full cup, free. Do yourselves a favour if u are around Opawa.

One of our favourite place for icecream in Opawa Christchurch. My favourite gelato will be hazelnut favor, Dutch spice and coffee. They are all very good really. Today the weather is cold but the customers are queue out the door.

The chilli chocolate gelato, and pineapple basil sorbetto are the best flavours in town. Truly a hidden gem of chch!

Best Gelato in Christchurch. Period. Made with real ingredients, none of those artificial flavoury stuff. So, hazelnut for instance is made of real Hazelnuts... Have tried many flavors over many visits and my daughter and I have not been disappointed so far.

Lots interesting flavours of gelato and sorbet. I had a caramelised fig which was very tasty. I would be back again! Only one thing not given 5 star is they are using plastic spoon.

If you don't like too sweet, try yogurt passionfruit or simply vanilla.Cinnamon also tastes great. Their berry flavors all made from real fruits. Minty flavors got real mint leaves. Lemon & orange flavor comes from fresh squeezed juice.These ingredients make gelato in your mouth very refreshing. My friends love nuty flavor, chocolate hazelnut , Peanut caramel,pistachino … rich! But only problem is , they have tooo many flavors, too many choices🙈 Good place to go, even in winter!

Oh my gosh yum! I liked every single flavour I tasted and that has never happened before. We got the chocolate hazelnut, caramelized fig, pineapple basil (so refreshing!) And coconut and they are all divine. Will be back for a tub for sure.

I just found this little place today by pure accident and I am really glad I did. Christchurch is lucky to have some really nice gelato places but this one has just move into my number 1 favourite gelato store. The staff were both really friendly and helpful. There is a huge selection of flavours and I didn't need to read a menu to work out what the flavour was either, you know... chocolate is chocolate flavour, caramalised fig is.... you guessed it gelato with caramalised fig in it. The two scoops of gelato I had were really really nice, and very reasonably priced. This place is not exactly close to where I live, but maybe the 20 minute cycle ride each way will allow me to have an extra scoop each time I visit.

Our favourite gelato! Lots of interesting flavours, superbly executed. Tucked away in a little neighbourhood strip mall but well worth going out of your way if (when) you have a craving!

It is a good gelato place in Christchurch. There is a good range of flavors to chose from and everytime I go there, there's always new flavors. This place also has a good value for the amount of gelato you get.

Without any doubt the best and authentic ice-cream. An Italien lady is making this so unbelievably delicious ice-cream. Thank you much! Lot's of dairy free sorbets. Changing tastes and the richest chocolate I have ever had. Went there with a ton of people including Italiens and they where very impressed. Recommended 💯 More sorts on the weekend including Friday

Pretty decent ice cream. Not quite on Utopia's level but definitely above Rollickin in the Christchurch ice cream game. - Range of flavours, weird and wonderful - Friendly staff - Clean and tidy Side note: Weird place for ice cream, not the physical store, just a weird neighborhood for it. It's disconcerting to see such a flash, tidy storefront in a rundown area. Felt like some twilight zone shizz.

Wow! What a great little hidden Gem this is! All of the Gelato is made freshly by the master Gelato scientists on site. You can see them at work through their viewing window behind the counter. The flavour range is ever being broadened and experimented with in this lab so pop by and see what delights are on offer today. Don't miss out on a large takeaway tub so you can get your Gelato fix at home as well.

Amazing gelato and a really great selection of standard flavors and unique creations. The chocolate is delicious, so rich and smooth and I also tried the Amarena which was also very good. Would definitely recommend trying them out if you’re in the area

Lovely local boutique gelato shop. Some delicious flavour options as well as some very unique ones that seem to change almost daily. Could probably do with a few more flavour options or at least a few more of the popular fruit based options rather than the more herb based flavours.

Amazing gelato with so many incredible flavours. Caramelised fig and licorice are to die for. Their hot chocolate is so delicious I have to sit and do nothing else while I drink it so I can fully focus on the flavour. Martina is lovely as well, always with a beautiful welcoming smile.

Oops got this mixed up with the Gelato shop in Wanaka. Gelato lab is awesome and we have never had a bad taste here, you must come if you live in Christchurch and sample this deliciousness!!!

What an awesome little find we stumbled upon because this was the only one we could find still open at 5pm. Flavours were unique (Saffron & Rose - turned out surprisingly good) and $7 for a triple scoop is very cheap.

It was my absolute fav ice cream shop in Christchurch, however really disappointed that babies now have to pay 2$ for their own gelato (size of the sorbet was the same size than the free samples and we even brought our own cone previously purchased in the big packet by the gelato lab) The Italian owner is super nice though
