N.I don't think I've ever visited a place like Utopia Ice before. They have some crazy and interesting flavours that make you feel like TRYING THEM ALL! (I personally have done a good job so far). And their waffles -with vegan option included!- are from another planet. Perfect for winter, as they're warm and delicious. Also, the place has a lovely decoration and their staff is the sweetest in town, specially Emilie who's always with a huge smile and willing to help you to decide (because trust me: it ain't easy!). You won't regret your visit, and you'll probably become a regular just life me because they definitely have the best ice cream in town <3 Totally recommended by @PigLifeDiary :)

C.One of my favourite ice-cream place in Christchurch. Just prefect the sesame and berry flavor are few of my popular choice. The shop is located on high street near polytechnic, so it us popular students and people working around the area. Highly recommended!

E.The best ice cream in Christchurch. Utopia Ice doesn't ONLY cater to gluten free, vegan, and dairy free customers (though I am incredibly grateful they do!) They also have a diverse menu of dairy based ice creams, with flavours that you absolutely must try (that marscapone black boy peach!). They use local ingredients wherever possible, oh and did I mention the waffles? And the coffee? And the new cookies!? Go. Absolutely, you must go try them.
P.If you are looking ice-cream place than this is the best place in city centre near ara institute. We had ice cream after our dinner party. It was really great to have ice-cream there. Great option and good quality nz made material. They have option of dairy free and gultan free too. Seating arrangement was unique and good.
P.So good! Amazing selection with unique flavours that aren’t over-complicated which sometimes gets too much! I love liquorice and creme brûlée.

B.This (and their main base in Sumner) is simply the best ice cream place not only in town, but also on the South Island if not the whole of New Zealand. The ice cream is entirely home made (no nasties) with the best of ingredients. The flavours are amazingly special and change at a regular basis. Also don’t miss the awesome waffles (with ice cream of course). Follow them on social media to never miss what’s on at their places.
K.Now my favourite ice cream place! I tried their Belgian waffles yesterday and that was good too. Pretty busy for a Friday winter's night. I love that their flavors change regularly so there's always something new to try.

C.Very nice! I absolutely love all the creative ice cream flavours here, and it's nice to have a variety of vegan ones. I wasn't as sold on the waffles, but I can confidently recommend the ice cream, especially dark sea salt and the tayberry one! The tayberry is the best in my opinion haha. Soooo good!!

P.Waffles and gelato, what more do you want? It was a cold night and we found the warm and cozy Utopia just right. Invest in adding a scoop of ice cream to your waffle, I went without, having the black peach, pecan and vanilla cream, and definitely regret not adding ice cream!
d.Freshly made waffles AND ice cream, you can't go wrong. Also it's open till 10pm! So if you're really hankering for some late night treats go and check them out you won't be disappointed.

However the service was very lacking, staff were quiet, unfriendly and did not seem happy to see customers. Disinterested, quiet and stared at us. Unsure if I would come again as there are similarly good ice cream shops with better customer service.
P.Great selection of icecream. Gluten free available. Great service. They do a doggo size, they call it Kids size. Served in a tub or a waffle cone. Sit outside and relax. Even a rocking horse for the kids. Thanks, will be back.

L.What is better than gluten free waffles with the MOST AMAZING vegan ice cream for a coeliac who also can't have dairy. Without fail the waffles are perfectly cooked (crispy and soft). They always have so many vegan flavors that I have to get 2 scoops. Then there is the plethora of delicious toppings (coconut whipping cream - yum!!). I will continue to recommend you guys to everyone I know. Wish I could give you 6 stars!
L.Wonderful, unique flavors along with a few classics. The strawberry lemongrass was a favorite. Also loved the carrot cake and coconut chocolate with chocolate nibs. Owner was super nice as well.
