I have been visiting this store for 25+ years. When visiting from out of town I always make a stop here. If you dont mind standing outside in the que for a long period of time during summer in direct sun then the ice cream and waffle cones are well worth it.

Awesome place! Finding parking tricky in Mount. Eagerly want a peanut butter flavor!

Traveled from conifer grove just to grab a Copenhagen cone although the waffle cones seemed smaller from back in the days it was worth the trip, and that smell of the freshly made cone wafting out before you even get to the store "priceless "

An ice cream after climbing the mountain, the best!

Perfect dessert on a hot autumn day! I chose the salted caramel flavoured ice cream with whipped cream on a small waffle cone, and it was amazing 🤩🍦 Make sure you choose a topping alongside the whipped cream (I only chose the whipped cream, foolishly choosing to lessen the calorie count 😆), and it was a bit messy to eat. I might need more practice and buy from them again tomorrow. And the next day. And the next 😉 But seriously, you gotta try this out! 👍

Big scoops, affordable price, we didn‘t have to wait at all and the selection was great. Perfect for taking your ice cream to the beach or treating yourself on a hot day!

An absolute must for any ice-cream lover! A long-time loved local haunt. Hand-made waffle cones that, if you time it right, you get to see made right infront of your eyes. When it's busy the line goes around the corner. I for one hate waiting in line but this is a line I waited in with excitement and the wait was worth it! My flavour choice: Hokey-pokey

Ice is delicious and Service is friendly although they are so busy! Cones are self made in store and they also have nice fancy flavours like Lemon Cheesecake or cinnamon doughnut ... Must visit for everyone who likes icecream!

One of the best in town. They have the best flavors and the best cones. They are soo good you have to stand in queue to get an ice cream but it's well worth it.

I come here every time I am at the Mount. This is a great ice place and I like their ice more than the one around the corner at the promenade. But that's personal preference. The quality is great and a huge selection of flavors.

Freshly made waffle cones is what they are famous for. They don't just serve ice cream and they also have other options like real fruit soft serve, yoghurt and snowghurt.

Always a queue out the door!! Yummy selection and really friendly staff. Only 4 star because I feel would serve better to have a designated entry point, ordering station, move through to pick up and pay and then exit. Perhaps set up those barrier type ropes? Having to weave in and out of others to view the icecreams etc can be a little uncomfortable.

Good place, it's an ideal spot to hit after the summit walk; and the variety of flavours and custom combinations make it worthwhile to check out. Plus, the price isn't bad either! It's always packed, but once you go, you learn why.

You can watch them make the waffle cones while waiting and it tastes just amazing! Definitely worth the wait and the $$

Your in for one heck of a treat at this ice cream shop. Great ice cream at very reasonable prices. The staff are always there with a smile. Get there early, otherwise you'll be in for a bit of a wait. But in saying that the staff are fast and efficient in getting you your ice cream treat. Ice cream is not one of my favourite things but I was introduced to this ice cream parlour last year and by far, the best ice cream I have ever tasted. It is always busy (which is a great sign of goodness), so best to arrive early to get your favourite treat.

Awesome icecream served in a store made waffle cone, this place is an institution in the Mount. Is hard to resist the awesome smell of waffle cones being made on a hot summer's day. Be prepared for lines out the door, but it's worth the wait.

The best place for ice creams. This is our traditional stop for in-house made waffle cone Sandae treats after we climb the Mount, or jut feel like a sneaky dessert. Been coming here for over 15 years and still our fave family destination.

I remember Copenhagen Cones being a little bit of a treat if we were good as kids, then after I had my kids I did the same. My kids are grown now but my partner & I still like to use it as our own little treat. 😊 It's a part of local history that everyone should try if they find themselves in the area

Best cones with Ice Cream, Cream and topping in Tauranga? Yup!

Hands down the most delicious ice cream in Tauranga. I’m a local born and bred, and every time I drive past I have to stop myself from taking a sniff of the delicious waffle cones being made on site. Ok the price is on the expensive side and you can never have enough cream topping, but you’ll never be disappointed ever!

Decent enough ice cream joint. Not an absolutely massive selection, nothing scarily exotic, firm favorites available. Wait wasn't that bad despite the line-staff were organised and really friendly. Standing room only but right in between two fairly stunning beaches so short dander to plonk yourself down and devour your ice cream

I didnt see the wow factor that everyone talks about. Good quantity size for icecreams and delicious. Not a fan of the milkshakes/yoghurt smoothie (both were so thick but might be just this one time) and not that much flavour. Overall: Friendly staff and a good icecream shop 😊

Freshly made waffles, great selection of ice cream flavors and frozen berries yogurt. Opposite the beach so make your way to the shop, grab a cone an d to across the street to chill with your chosen frozen treats by the beach. Yum

Awesome! Have options for everyone....there are quite a few specific Halal friendly flavors. Can be a bit underwhelming if you come during rush hour...but outside of that...loved it

Epic icecream comes the smell alone is worth the visit. A cone for all budgets. (Kiddie cone is around $2.50) theres even a baby cone too! It's been around as long as I can remember! Just dont try getting a park right outside!!!!

It's ice cream folks! Cones were delicious. The girl serving was very abrupt and refused to put a small amount of cream on my small cone. She said if she did.. then she would need to charge for a large cone. Seems a bit unreasonable.

Wide range of flavours and very tasty. Good service and the line wasn’t too long. The menu is a little confusing and isn’t very clear at times. However this place is a perfect treat after climbing the mount!

Went out fishing and caught nothing.....my friend said we should go and have an ice cream. We went to Copenhagen ....had a large waffle cone.....my goodness was it good...even had cream and sauce on it....made up for no fish. Will return.

The icecream + cone is definitely worth a try and looks super delicious. They even offered to replace the cream I did not want with frozen yoghurt. Nevertheless I have eaten icecream 10 times as delicious as this. But I haven't tried shakes, yet.

Always a long line and with good reason. A great place to stop at Mt. Maunganui with some of the best ice cream anywhere. They make their own cones in the Copenhagen style but have other options if that's not your thing. If you're in the mood for ice cream brave the queue and try it

The must try ice cream in tauranga. There's usually a long line here because this a famous place and but it's worth the wait because the ice cream and the cone are so delicious. There are like 15+ flavors you can choose and you can combine it.
