M. J.4 friends on a cycling trip. A welcome surprise to find comfortable bed and fantastic food in such a remote location. The seafood pizza was sensational. Mitch and Ian were helpful and friendly. Assisted us in being able to ride through private farmland to Akitio. We'll worth taking a small detour to stay here!!

f. h.Enjoyed a great steak meal here in this friendly country pub. Very surprised with the previous poor rating, that guy appears to be a self confessed critic whom is just plain mean! Although I stayed in the motorcamp (yes they have hotel accommodation too) I ordered brunch the following day, the owners were low on eggs, off they drove to the local farmer and I had the most amazing omlette with all the trimmings (its not even on the menu) thank you for going the extra mile and the genuine hospitality - hope to be back soon. M. B.The road out is an adventure in itself lol. Herbertville is remote, just about as remote as you can get, and it is worth the ride. The Inn was perfectly comfortable, the bar welcoming (as were the locals), and breakfast was AWESOME. Kiwi-as and take-it-as-you-find-it sort of place so if that's your kind of thing too, we totally recommend it.
t. m.Stayed overnight, very well priced, basic accommodation, clean and tidy. Michelle is accommodating and hard working. The bike ride from Wimbledon an easy 9kms in.
C. O.This is a fair dinkum old Kiwi Pub. Bar, pool table, juke box, outside eating/drinking area and a dining room.
After initial reaction of being unsure I loved it. The pub is run by a husband and wife team who work the pub really well. Made to feel really welcome and the owners stay up until the last person is ready for bed.
Amazing food and breakfast available for more than 4 people.
The rooms are just a place to hang your head. Beds clean. A short walk to the shared loo and bathroom. A great deal at $30 pp per night.
Definitely worth staying. Enjoy the ambience.

Qué lugar! Las dueños son muy amables y la comida está increíble. Por si eso fuera poco, la gente local es muy amigables a tal grado que puedes terminar en un torneo de billar con ellos 🤣
Los cuartos son básicos pero limpios y cómodos. Es un excelente lugar para descansar antes de continuar tu camino.
