N.Eric and his lovely family have been in Pokeno, it seems forever. We always support them and shop there for takeaways. They have 40+ flavours of ice cream to choose from. Always clean and very welcoming. Highly recommend AAA+++
E.Great variety of Ice cream...however the butterscotch pecan icecream is not Pecan nuts but Walnuts...
T.Cheapest ice cream on North Island NZ. Each scoop of ice cream is huge. Friendly staff.
It's a good stopping point to have a rest and an ice cream from the long drive going south or north
B.One of the two takeaways in Pokeno that sell ice cream scoops. Stopped by on the way home for a snack. Got a curry roll and a milk shake. Both were nice, what you would expect from a decent takeaway place.

H.I've been stopping at the two icecream shops which stand side by side since I was a child. Even though the State Highway hasn't run through Pokeno for years we still detour for ice cream. I've taken my children there and now I take my grandchildren. It's a tradition. Great ice cream selection, reasonable prices and value for money. A sweet stop along the way.
A.Great ice cream place for cheap price. Great flavors with amazing taste. Also a nice place for stopover in the way to Hamilton from Auckland. Must do for summer. Love the ice cream you'll want to go again & again
