A.Wonderful place for a swim on a very hot day. Water was cool but not cold. Ice cream truck and coffee truck along water front along main road.

R.We are right across from beach it's 11.10pm and people are still coming for a swim in the rain
V.A great spot for relaxing on the grass, or having a swim!
T.A nice little beach on a good day. It gets busy in the summer. A good view of the mountains, Ruapehu, Ngaruahoe and Tongariro. Hot water at the south east end of beach, where there are also toilets and changing rooms.😀

O.Nice spot for a swim but there's no close showers, just a toilet block with a place to wash your feet. There's supposedly a shower block closer to the central shopping area but I never visited it personally.
