A fun little portable coffee, ice cream, and corn shop. Just a caravan and a truck with the chairs, genny, etc.
Hours are variable and seem to rely quite a bit on John picking the corn in the morning.
The ice cream is mixed to order from frozen berries and ice cream right there and then.
The corn gets rave reviews from everyone, so make sure to grab a few cobs!
A nice treat when out at the beach or playground with the tamariki!

What wonderful ice cream. Such gluttony but I wanted another ice cream as it was so delicious. We also bought John's corn. Sweet and tender.
This is a great place.

The best ice cream you'll ever taste, and the most interesting people you will ever meet.

This afternoon we thought we would try a new ice cream merchant recommended to us. "Huckleberry Ice Cream" is situated on Beach Road, Whangarei. We arrived to the Onerahi Beach front to a busy cute Shiny purpose built Caravan that sells Frozen Fruit Ice Creams, Coffee and Corn. Although, there was no corn to be seen today 06/02/2022.
Today was a very humid northland Waitangi weekend and having a lovely Frozen Ice Cream was perfect. We had Bosenberry and Mixed Berry Ice Creams, both in chocolate waffle cones. There are numerous other fruits and combos to choose from. This treat will cost you $14 for two. If you don't mind the wait, these Frozen Fruit Ice Creams are worth it.
