O.Myself and my partner used Roost when we were applying for our first home loan. I cannot recommend the experience and service we received enough.
We were fortunate enough to be helped on our journey by Kim, we were really out of our depth when it came to all thing’s property related. It was the largest investment we were ever going to make and we wanted to be sure that we could trust the decisions we were making. Kim and the team and roost offered us peace of mind and a place we could vest our trust.
Right from the start Kim took the time to paint a full picture of our financial and personal situation, conversations were real and human. The language she used when we talked about confusing topics was void of any jargon, it was always clear on what we were discussing.
Kim always took the time to call and talk us through the stages of our offers she was always friendly and happy to field our questions. I am sure we were far from a perfect candidate for a home loan but because of Kim’s local knowledge of the mortgage space she was able to secure us an excellent result for our mortgage.
If we had not chosen to use Roost's services, I am sure that our mortgage journey would have been far more difficult ride, I am also not so sure if we would be in our own home today.

M.My husband and I bought our first home 10 years ago with Marks help, he was great. In that time his business has grown substantially and we weren't sure of he would remember us/ have time for us when we wanted to loan again to do extensive renovations. We found ourselves in a trickier than usual circumstances, (kids, inconsistent incomes, hospo business in a pandemic, etc) and knew going straight to the bank for an impersonal 'computer says no' response wouldn't cut it, so we asked Mark to help again. Not only was he happy to help, he was genuinely happy to hear from us again. Mark and his team think out of the box, formulated a plan a, b and c for us (so we felt reassured it would happen), is friendly, calm, non judgemental, a very clear communicator and truly understand what a big deal borrowing $ it is to his clients. I think the real value came in the final stages where we ran into a problem with the bank.
