There are so many reasons I can write down as to why I would recommend Grant to anyone but what was that one that set him apart from other brokers I have dealt with is his responsiveness and professionalism. For someone who was as clueless as I was being a first home buyer, Grant really made sure that I could just ask him anything and he would help me anyway. We used Grant's services recently to help re-finance our house and to use the equity to buy some land in Christchurch. With our current bank, they wouldn't entertain any deals and being in the middle of Covid, we couldn't get any type of deals across the line - even after talking to a personal banker from another bank who our family had dealings with too. After we spoke to Grant, he advised he had contacts and could likely do something. Even after a bit of a curve ball with maternity leave thrown into our salary situation, he made a deal work. Grant and Brenda are easy to do business with and responsive. Grant is honest and tells you when it may be a challenge, but finds a solution to overcome them and using his contacts, he made the deal work for us. Without him, we would not have been able to do what we did. If you're looking for a mortgage broker, my wife and I can not recommend him highly enough - it took the stress out of doing it ourselves, especially with a newborn baby on the scene! Firstly Grant should change his name to "Captain Awesome" Secondly what happens when 5 stars just isnt enough..? Google, you need to work on this. After going through both a mortgage company and a bank, My partner and I felt frazzled by all the banking 'fluff' and just got over having to chase representitives for straight answers. We were put onto Grant by a realistate agent and straight away he made us feel at ease. He's personal, Listens to your concerns and takes care of all the hard stuff.
