Toni and Nick at Loan Market Howick have been incredibly helpful and supportive!!! As a first home buyer I was pretty nervous and still learning a lot about the whole property purchasing process, and Toni and Nick certainly made me feel a lot more comfortable, and explained everything to me in detail, which made an enormous difference!! We had a challenging and constantly changing circumstance when we started looking for a new home. Nick and Viv were very good at understanding our situation and how this would change:impact our application. They kept us well informed about the progress of our application. We have achieved our goal of buying our first house and this team were a crucial part of making that happen. Buying a house can be overwhelming and confusing but Viv helped us to navigate this process with ease.

Toni and Nick from Loan Market worked hard on our behalf. We were subject to the new CCCFA provisions, with the Bank acting ultra conservatively. It was great to have Loan Market in our corner, and despite taking longer than we had anticipated, we successfully achieved the Bank lending that we required. Our loans were to buy out our son's share in a small investment property in the Manawatu. His share was the deposit on the purchase of his first home, being an apartment in Auckland. Toni and Nick organised our son's mortgage as well. Our son is delighted to be a home owner; something that he doubted would happen. A big thank you to Toni and Nick.

My wife and I have spent about 10 years deciding whether we should buy an investment property and have connected with Nick about 3 seperate times over that period. We have had an amazing experience with loan markets working with Nick and Viv. We bought our first house through them and we did everything wrong which they help fix. Now we are in the process of building a house and they have again been amazing with advice about what we can and cannot do. It is great to get pure and honest advice even if sometimes it’s not what you what to hear. But it’s the truth about ur situation. Nick and Nicola have been very amazing. Firstly, we had a tricky situation and our bank has basically declined to finance our next home. The team came up with a plan that I followed and once I provided the documents, they simply picked it up from there. They are very responsive and nothing is too difficult. We were introduced to Nick a week out from going unconditional and so things had to move pretty quick. We started to get a bit panicky but from the moment we spoke with Nick there was a calmness that settled our nerves. Nick and his team (thank you too Viv :-)) were an absolute pleasure to deal with. In our situation, the entire new house purchase process was an emotional rollercoaster as we had to sell our existing house to buy our dream home. We had to deal with a short settlement date, banks that seem to take their sweet time, refinancing, break fees, bridging finance, and all sorts of other legal and bank-related jargon that we had little experience with. It was a stressful situation but after a few calls and emails, we knew Nick and his team were the right people to take care of all that. They were always available to talk through our situation, quick to respond on emails and made the whole process smoother for us. Will definitely use them again if we ever go through another crazy house purchase.
