I had small loan requirement which I approached my bank directly( as I had done over 20 years) - the outcome after much discussion was they wanted to lower a lot of the limits and remove facilities I already had approved which I thought was very unreasonable given the high security value they held. I read the reviews on Mikey and LoanMarket and gave him a call. I was able to see him that day and it was all go from there. Mikey was professional, knowledgeable and really got to understand what I was trying to do. Ironically Mikey went back to my bank, got all my requirements and increased my limits! My lesson - go to Mikey first as it removed all the pain, got me more value.. and no cost! Mikey and I had some very good conversations and I learnt a lot from him and will use him from now on.. not sure why you would want to go anywhere else.
