G.I had an amazing experience with Nest Home Loans with Sean Zeier! I was deflated in the possibility of me being able to own a home, being turned down by other brokers because I had no savings, a solo parent and was seen as a risk. However, with Sean's help and guidance in what I needed to do, I strongly focused on his advice and direction.
Sean knows and understands banking decision and thought processes and is honest and upfront with what he may be able to help you with, or what you need to do to get to your goal.
My first discussion with Sean he gathered a little bit of detail and followed up the next day with a plan for me to aim for. A month later I asked if I could start looking and it basically took off from there. Our initial engagement was in Sept/Oct and we have moved in to our home by December.
I would not have achieved this without Sean's uplifting involvement, as he did not just do negotiation, he lifted my confidence and excitement in owning a home. Sean did not make it seem like a task, even though it was still nerve wracking, he was supportive, responsive and engaging.
I have sent a few people to Sean because of commitment to the task. It felt like it was not a job for him and no matter how many times I thanked him, he continued to say it was his job - but he does a little more than his job...trust in Sean :)

N.Absolutely blown away with the service we got from Avneet. He took what was a unobtainable dream for us and made it into an affordable reality. This was a difficult deal to make, and at times we were willing to throw in the towel but he was always a phone call away, ready to help us out and encourage us to keep going. Feedback from our solicitor was that he was easily the best mortgage broker she’s had to deal with, and it’s not even close to second place, with every document prepared and ready well ahead of time, even the “just in case” ones that weren’t all needed. He even managed to get the bank to give us free money for nothing.
If I ever buy another house it will be through him and the team at Nest, and I’ve been recommending him to anyone who will listen, even our movers on settlement day.

R.Avneet Singh: This man knew what he is doing, believe me not every mortgage broker does. He dealt with us like the God of mortgage brokers. At the first seminar, we did not think we were anywhere near purchasing our first home. But after talking to Raj we realised the possibility might be closer than we realised. He was extremely helpful, accommodating our busy work schedule, calling at all hours to update us on what was going on and take us through what ended up being an extremely fast process. He was more than understanding of our budget, our time constraints, and the lifestyle we lived so really worked with us, and for us, to get where we wanted to go. It really made the process less daunting knowing all the hard parts were taken care of and we could just focus on what we needed to focus on, without unnecessary issues popping up. Only needed to meet two or three times in the whole process to get it done. If you are buying a property and want someone who understands want you want, and you want a seamless process, go with Raj!!!!!

This is my 2nd Recommendation for Nest Home Loans (Emi Lardone) I don’t know where we would be now if we hadn’t reached out to you back in 2020. Our whole life has changed. We started with a complex private sale option going through multiple ways of doing it, with our current circumstances and having a family and LOT of short-term debt, we were only able to get approved via a non-bank lender.
We slowly chipped away at it all feeling so happy we finally owned our home. 6 months later, we contacted Emi again and asked if we could try and refinance (He again somehow worked his magic and got most of our debt merged for us into another non-bank loan), being able to now today FINALLLY I can say we got approved by a main normal bank with all our final short-term debt and credit cards GONE! The stress I have had over the years about money and worry for my family’s future has minimized immensely. The whole buying a home process is stressful and at times scary but with Nest home loans and with the knowledge they have, they will help you get somewhere with a plan in place.
It’s not just the mortgage process but he also helped us see how we can use our own cash instead of using debt to buy larger items. We are forever grateful, and it has been absolutely Life changing THANK YOU SO MUCH!

You have been so kind, calm and helpful in our situation and made us feel normal throughout the whole process. We had alot of short term debt and it was making me loose sleep all I wanted to do was a buy a home for our family but the future looked grim, Nest loans work with you and find ways to get through the different options of first home loans and ensure that your future can look brighter. M.3 years ago I arrived at The Nest's door step thanks to Tania Bidois who delivered Housing workshops and had forged a relationship with the Nest on behalf of Waikato Tainui. I already had a mortgage however my financial situation was terrible. At that time I fit most of the undesirable statistics however for some reason or another Sean Zeier gave me some time. Before the meeting occurred I was given a list of thing to gather and take to the meeting. During that period I went through all types of situations - anxiety, avoidance, shame etc. etc. Once I got over myself and sorted it out I met with Sean. It was hard to admit failure and share that with a complete stranger, each time I went through each debt, the amount, the reason for no payments etc. I felt really really small. Sean was not patronising, he simply did his job without judgement. The only issue in the room was me and it was only me making a big deal about it. I left it all in his hands where he said he'd get back to me. Well, he did get back to me. I wouldn't open the email up for a few days because I didn't want to feel worse than I already did. Then a few phones calls came my way, texts too which is when I thought "get over yourself and check the email!!!". And so I did. He had found a solution, actually he had found a few. He sorted my defaults at the various collection agencies and explained the conversations he had with them. He sorted an alternative lending agency so I could re-finance my mortgage AND he managed to get me an awesome amount of money for me to do renovations at my home. I had just been given a restart to life and boy was I appreciative. It wasn't all perfect, I had occured 3 defaults on my credit rating and it was going to take 3 years for them to drop off. I had to spend the next 3 years fixing my relationship and attitude with money. I had to be patient and not find any way to incur more debt whether it was through hire purchase or loans. I had to understand how credit ratings worked and the big lesson of it all was adjusting my lifestyle.
3 years and 1 month later I returned to see Sean. Whilst it was a tough 3 years it was all worth it. I still have no HP's, loans and all bad credit had disappeared. My wants vs my needs has reversed. I now have Kiwi Saver, Sharsies and a few other investments but most of all, during this time I raised my children as a solo mother with the support of my mum, sisters and like minded people within my community.
The most important messages here is that I felt there was no judgement, I felt that Sean's support was sincere and finally I know now that there is support available but the entire situation will only work if those applying make the change too.
My mortgage is now back at a bank with an amazing rate, I have money in savings now, my payments are way cheaper now where I have the ability to pay extra on my mortgage or save.
I just cannot say enough. I recommend Sean, straight up BUT he can only do his job if you do your part. Make an appointment and make a plan. Try not to get upset if he is not able to find a solution straight away. It all takes time but with commitment, dedication, effort and patience, life can change. When your lifestyle and finances meet up at a positive place at the right time the world will be your oyster.

A.We approached Emi when we first began looking at options for buying or building and he was so helpful in letting us know where we were sitting on the property ladder and what we needed to do in terms of building on our land. Six months later we decided we wanted to buy, so after a quick phone call to Emi to reassess our situation we began looking at open homes. That phone call was on a Friday, and on Monday morning I called again to say we had put an offer on a house with a 10 day unconditional clause. Emi was amazing, despite the very sudden and very short time frame, he got stuck into our lending application straight away. Within a week he had everything sorted and off to the bank, and the following week we had a loan offer from a bank and we went unconditional on the house.
The whole process was incredibly smooth, we never set foot into a bank, Emi did all the hard yards, as well as putting up with my constant phone calls and emails!
When we are ready to build on the land, or sell this house that we can now call home, we would definitely contact Emi again to help us through the process.

S.Julie at Nest made buying our first home so stress free! She was easy to talk too, fast to reply and never made me feel like my 101 questions were a hassle.
I was originally super confused about the whole process to buy a home but the way Nest sets out there step by step emails, broken down into small steps made it so easy to understand.
She also got us good interest rates, and cash back from the bank.
Everything was done over the phone/email so being a completely different part of the country wasn't a issue.
I couldn't recommend using Nest home loans enough. Would give more stars if Google would let me.
