Matt helped my partner and I buy our first home. He was extremely approachable and answered our questions promptly. We managed to get the best deal after Matt worked hard behind the scenes to make it happen. He never said no to our last minute decisions of putting offers on with tight deadlines! I have recommended him to friends and family and will work with him again in the future hopefully! (If he takes us back that is) Thank you so much to Matt and the team and The People’s finance, we now get to enjoy Christmas in our first home.

I cannot recommend the people’s finance highly enough! Matt secured my partner and I a home loan super quickly, at an extremely competitive rate. Matt made life so easy by taking all the stress out of the process and promptly answering any questions we had. Danny was great, super nice guy. As first time buyers we really didnt know what we were in for. We felt super comfortable sharing all our personal information with him. We could tell he had so much experience and knowledge in that industry from our very first sit down till our last. Super informative and made the whole process stress free. We’ve had a most wonderful experience with everyone at the People’s finance! We got our first one using the help of Matt. We previously went with another mortgage advisor and had 7 home offers declined - we switched over to Matt and he worked his magic and our first offer with him we got our first home! He went above and beyond to make it work for us, in particular getting our conditions down. We were a bit naive about the whole home buying process but he made it an absolute breeze. I cannot recommend him enough, my only regret is that we didn’t use him sooner! Personable, fast, knowledgeable and talks in plain English! Legend.

After a rocky start on our journey to buy our first home in the beginning of this year and making us giving up for awhile, we ended up getting several recommendations from people to go and see if The People's Company could help us. I was already dealing with a mortgage broker but was struggling to secure a loan from any of the banks even with a 50% + deposit. My details and situation were given to Danny Wilson via a friend. Within the hour (on a Saturday morning) Danny phoned me and we discussed my situation. Four days later I had a loan secured with great rates for todays market. After having our finance fall through on an offer, Danny Wilson was recommended to us by the real estate agent. First home buying is a bit scary and can be quite overwhelming but it’s fair to say Danny made this experience for myself and my partner a smooth sail right from the get go! I cannot recommend Danny from the People's Finance enough! From our initial contact with Danny to discuss our mortgage needs, through to moving into our new house, Danny was there supporting us at every step of the process! Highly recommend the team at The People's Company! Went in originally to sort out my insurances through Hannah who was absolutely awesome and explained everything to me in a way I could understand. Then was privileged to work with Rachel on refixing my mortgage at an awesome rate and also topping up my mortgage which allowed me to consolidate some debt and start renovations on my house. She is extremely professional and worked alongside me the whole time dealing with the banks which made things a whole lot easier for me.

As first home buyers there was a lot of uncertainty in navigating the purchase process, having the professional knowledge and support of a mortgage broker made the process so much easier. I cannot fault how Bernard handled our policies in regards to insurances, especially with the life insurance and trauma cover. Was a blessing to know we had the cover in place when my wife got sick, not having to wonder how we are going to cover expenses because of the cover. I recommend them to all and hand on heart can say they will look after you not just on a business level but makes you feel like a best friend.

Ask for Danny for mortgages he is excellent - 10/10. I called him on the Monday and had an agreement in principle the next day from ASB. He knows the ASB mortgage person so was able to get results extremely quickly. He came back to me on every question within the hour, nothing was too much. I don’t think we would have got our house without his support as the situation was complex (to say the least), we had to put a finance clause in, but he called the estate agent on our behalf and really went the extra mile. So pleased we picked Danny!

Buying house is not for the faint hearted … we almost lost a deal because of a poorly made decision. I was devastated……We have been our 7th offer , but this was first one that was excepted.
