Reviews of Kiwibike Insurance
I.
I am so amazed at how amazing these guys are! Took out a yearly policy for my lil' moped in January. Situation had changed in June and I had sold the bike. Called up Kiwibike and they got me to fill out all the particulars online and within a day it was cancelled and the remaining of the insurance money was refunded!
I am so pleased at this level of service and will be a walking advertisement of this company! Y'all are just amazing! <3

Quick and good service, road and track cover through them as a broker, competitive prices too! I've also had a claim/accident under the coverage provided and all went well. Happy with the service

Great experience in getting both quote and insurance processes. Quick and friendly service. Competitive quote.
Haven't needed to make a claim but so far the service has been excellent.

Got my claim without a fuss

thanks Dave for sorting things out for me.
If anyone has to make a claim I suggest:
As soon as you crash call a towing company if not Kiwibike
1. Tell the towing company to go straight to a dealership you have had contact with.
2. Go to the dealer and ask for a Pre-Accident Valuation aswell as a repair assessment.
3. Call your insurer and send the repair assessment and receipts for both as they comes through. Tell your dealership and insurer if you want to keep the bike.
4. If they want to pay you instead send through the P.A.V.
5. If you want a new helmet (which you should always do but nobody will encourage you to do, not even kiwibike) you have to send a picture of the helmet in half or a picture of the strap cut.
None of this was told to me before hand, for example I had to send through 3 pictures to kiwibike.
Save yourself 3 extra weeks of hassle. Don’t go kiwibike. The overall rating is low for a reason.

Fast cover, more extensive cover than my usual insurer and half the price

Easy place to deal with, I'm on my LAMS in the South Island - so legally speaking, adding heated grips to my motorcycle brings its LAMS status into question - and Dave got an exemption sorted out with no fuss.
Funnily enough, after a rethink I ended up going with heated glove liners instead (didn't know they existed) - at least that way my entire hand is warm rather than just the palm. Anyway, thanks Dave.
