Jon was very helpful and approachable during the whole process of getting a mortgage. He provided us with key advice, and supported us throughout the whole process from finding a house, securing the house we wanted, and ensuring that the mortgage was all in place. He was also helpful with providing easy and practical steps for us to follow to secure our first home! As a Pasifika family, it was hard at the start to get into the housing market. There were so many different advices and feedback from people (friends and family) about owning a home, etc. A lot of different perspectives. However, Jon encouraged us and continued to keep in touch with our family until we were finally ready to sit down and start the process - thank you for your patience with us. With Jon's advice and support, we are now here - first home owners! What a journey it has been, but one that is filled with many blessings. We now own a house that can cater for not only our own immediate family, but for our extended family and many friends. Truly a blessing to be in a home that reminds us of Samoa, with a lot of space inside and outside (for our parents to work on their ma'umaga and play piliaki in the garage to holding family and friends gatherings, birthday parties, etc.) This house can cater to it all.
