Jordan was recommended by a friend and we couldn't have been happier with the level of service and support he provided as we transitioned to a new bank, separated out 2 shared mortgages whilst working through a subdivision for 2 new titles for the separate mortgages. From the outset it seemed a pretty daunting task but Jordan made this a very easy and enjoyable experience! We couldn't have asked for a better Mortgage Broker. Recommend to all!
M.3.5-4/5 - Steven was a great mortgage advisor with lots of knowledge but given the property market (at the time we purchased) there was lots of demand and clients for the home loan, so our mortgage broker wasn't able to give us as much attention and coaching as we needed. The problem was more to do with coaching and getting undivided attention rather than our broker being bad (he was good and knowledgeable). We needed to be coached through the process and have our hand held through every detail. If things weren't as cray we probably would've had a better experience

S.Jordan Mitchell was a super star during our first home buying process. He guided us every step of the way and was patiently answering many questions and calming the nerves.
We had a long journey. We received a pre-approval in October 2020, bought a turnkey townhouse in December 2020 and waited 15 months for the house to be built, to settle and move in. Jordan was there during the whole process - organising pre-approval rollovers and new pre-approvals when they expired. The best thing he's done for us was in June 2021 when he organised a 12-month pre-approval, which meant that we were not subjected to the CCCFA lending rule changes before the settlement.
And when we finally got the settlement date, Jordan made sure that everything went smoothly, organised the valuation, liaised with the bank and calmed us along the way.
We cannot recommend him highly enough. His advice and guidance was invaluable. We are extremely grateful for everything he's done for us.

He put in a tonne of work as our and the vendors situation changed. I know he had to put in at least 4 applications to the bank, something my wife and I could not manage with us both working and having a young baby at home.
At one point we were approached by another aggressive mortgage broker recommended to us by an estate agent who said he could secure our purchase for a fee of $2,000!!
I went back to Sloan and he was already doing what this other broker had suggested- Sloan even offered to call this broker on our behalf to set him straight.
Fantastic to deal with- Sloan was always informative, kept us updated and ensured we did what we needed to do to make the purchase.

K.I think you get to a point where talking to someone who knows next to nothing about finance, around something as important as your mortgage becomes a sadistic joke. This is what awaits you at most major banks at their front line call centres. Simple math and English escapes the majority of the operators and you end up spinning in circles. To get a decent deal you need to get past the paper pushing, process driven first tier customer support.
I knew I needed a broker who could penetrate that initial layer.
I had known of Sloan for a little while through a colleague and he was always down to earth, called it how it was and was good to deal with. Those are all great but Sloan knows what he is talking about, he's been in the game for a long time and has the relationships deep within lending institutions to make a difference, both in your customer experience and in your wallet.
I'll probably be a customer for life!
