A.Wow.. My first experience buying precious metals and the team were fantastic.
The website is super easy to navigate. The communication from the team was amazing. I had asked a question via email and had a call the next day to not only answer my question but also managed to find me the product I was after, process it and have it delivered THAT DAY with my other order which saved me another delivery charge.
When you are spending considerable amounts of money online you want confidence with the company your dealing with. NZ Gold Merchants are all that plus more.

m.Shipping was quite slow compared to other traders. Ordered 6 Silver coins. Email was never replied. Sent by signature required courier but never asked for signature but the parcel was thrown in the garden (maybe this is courier's problem). One of the coin - 2020 Krugerrand has few dents - looks like another coin on top pressed hard with weight on this particular coin. As a trader, I expect they should have inspected each coin to be shipped. Expected each coin to come within the capsule but half of them did not come in capsule - no explanation in their website how these coins will come. Not too sure if this damaged coin carries the same value with non-damaged ones.

A.Overnight shipping, good prices, good for first time investors like me... i would also add that they should improve the way they ship there coin/bars even simply getting two small pieces of cardboard and sandwich the coin or bar would stop damages that would happen, otherwise good service and great crew!

b.After asking around the country these people offer a very good price for gold and silver jewellery, maybe the highest price. I have sold stuff to them three or four times. If I post from Dunedin to Auckland on a Monday, I usually have money in the bank by Wednesday with an email by Tuesday night detailing how much they are paying me.
Why sell to a middle man when you can send direct to the main NZ gold refinery.
